Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - 4/11
Four weeks into the season, and our top tier is jam-packed with dual-start options that warrant full employment in their owners’ fantasy rosters. The slates of upper-tier Fantasy Baseball 2025 Two-Start Pitchers will presumably thin out as the bats heat up with the weather, but for now, take advantage of the plethora of arms that can add value to your pitching stats. The options in the middle group are scanty, at best, this week, sad to report.
There is also a wealth of Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters to choose from throughout the scoring period. As indicated below in our discussion of the bottom-tier hurlers, those SPs profiled in the streaming section are better options than any arm listed in the third table posted below.
Please realize that these articles feature the most recent rotation information available when the article is written, but that circumstances do change due to weather conditions, injuries, and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies, but this article is meant to provide analysis; it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.
Without further ado, here are this week’s two start pitchers:

These SPs are those whose presence on your fantasy roster should prove to be a blessing. There exists a bounty of hurlers to plug into your Fantasy Baseball rotations in Week 4, and while it is inevitable that not every one of these two-start pitchers will deliver outstanding stat lines, these are the best bets for useful pitching results this scoring period.

Springs, a veteran southpaw, has opened 2026 looking strong, posting a fantasy valuable 1.47 ERA with a superb 0.76 WHIP through his three starts to date. He has also accumulated an attractive 15:6 K/BB ratio over those 18.1 IP. He has a pair of home starts on the schedule, but that was not a positive last season. His first outing against the Rangers does not project as an ideal matchup, but the second appearance against the Pale Hose who have been struggling away from the south side of the Windy City.
Weathers toiled for the other team against the lefthander profiled immediately above, and was saddled with a tough luck loss, allowing just one earned run over 8.0 IP. He racked up seven Ks while not handing out a free pass. Just like Springs above, he gets to ply his trade at home during his next two trips to the hill, and the matchups are favorable based upon early-season results.
Burrows wraps up the middle tier of potentially useful SPs that are not sure things but may have some value given their two-star status. The third-year righty has been slowly working to overcome his rough first start, key term being slowly. He has posted a less-than-impressive 1.65 WHIP over his last two outings, but also a useful 4.35 ERA in those 10.1 IP and nine Ks. Of his upcoming two times toeing the rubber, the second at home against the Cardinals looks most promising if you are seeking

There are plenty of SPs that are being relegated to the bottom-tier this week. If you are lured by their two-start status, please realize that these pitchers have landed in the bottom group because they have not demonstrated significant value to occupy a start spot in your fantasy rosters…yet. If you are tempted to use one or more as streamers, you would be better suited to pursue the SPs profiled in the next section instead.
Potential Streaming Options for Week 4
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters candidates:
Tuesday, April 14, 2025
Max Meyer, Miami Marlins @ Atlanta Braves
The 27-year-old righthander picked up his first win of the season, while also lowering his ERA to an attractive 3.68, holding the visiting Reds to a single run over his 5.0 IP. He has allowed eight free passes in his three starts, and thus his WHIP is inflated at 1.36.
Eduardo Rodriguez, Arizona Diamondbacks @ Baltimore Orioles
The veteran southpaw has been baffling opposing hitters during the course of his three starts to open the season, finally allowing an earned run in his third trip to the bump against the host Mets on a dinger, raising his superb ERA to 0.50. He is not missing a ton of bats, carrying a below-average 5.5 K/9 rate into the contest in Baltimore, but the Orioles have been experiencing an inability to score runs, so this is a superb streaming opportunity.
Michael McGreevy, St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cleveland Guardians
The Cardinal youngster has tossed a pair of quality starts (QS) as part of his three starts. He is not much of a strikeout producer, with just 10 Ks over his 16.2 IP, and had just one in his victory over the host Nationals in his last time climbing the hill. This matchup against the visiting Guardians profiles as a good opportunity against an offensively-challenged opponent.
Colin Rea, Chicago Cubs @ Philadelphia Phillies
The veteran righty picked up his first win of 2026 in his first start, having been used in long relief in his other two appearances this season. He has been more effective at missing bats this season than in the past, with 10 Ks over his 11.1 IP. He has also been extraordinarily efficient in generating groundballs, another new development, although he continues to demonstrate good control.
Wednesday, April 15, 2025
Carmen Mlodzinski, Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Washington Nationals
The righty finally pitched deep enough into a game to qualify for a victory, but was stuck with a third no-decision. He did hold the host Cubs scoreless over his 5.1 IP, and he now brings a superior 2.51 ERA into this contest at home against the Nationals, but his 1.60 WHIP is ugly, and reflects how hittable he has been early in 2026. The visiting Washington offense has been firing on all cylinders to open the season, so this will be an interesting test of the youngster’s ability to keep the base paths clear.
Simeon Woods-Richardson, Minnesota Twins vs. Boston Red Sox
The righthander has accumulated a fine set of ratios, with a 2.31 ERA and 1.11 WHIP over his 11.1 IP over his two times toeing the rubber this year. He is not a prolific strikeout producer, but on the plus side of his ledger, he is a hurler who performs best when dining on home cooking, and he has been demonstrating good control (2.3 BB/9).
Thursday, April 16, 2025
Chad Patrick, Milwaukee Brewers vs. Toronto Blue Jays
Coming off a win in Kansas City, where he lowered his ERA to a superior 0.96 by shutting out the Royals for 5.0 IP on four hits. He gets to climb the hill at home, where he has shown himself to be most comfortable in his limited time in the majors, and will look to continue that tendency against a visiting Blue Jay offense that has been limited to open the season thus far.
Steven Matz, Tampa Bay Rays @ Chicago White Sox
Davis Martin, Chicago White Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Our contest, where you might want to use both starters for a rare dual-streaming opportunity. The Tampa Bay lefty has now collected a victory in each of his three times atop the hill this season, and is striking out better than a batter per frame: 17 Ks over 16.0 IP. He has been demonstrating good control, as well, with just five free passes handed out to opposing hitters.
On the other side of the field, the South Siders offer up their two-win hurler, who also picked up his first QS by defeating the visiting Blue Jays over 6.0 IP. He has also been striking out more than a hitter per inning, with 12 to his credit over his 11.0 IP to date. He will work to maintain his home/road strength and continue the Blue Jays’ struggles on the road to begin 2026.
Tomoyuki Sugano, Colorado Rockies @ Houston Astros
Coming over to the Rockies after his one season in Baltimore, he has been a find for Colorado, allowing just a single run in each of his two starts, and bringing a stellar set of ratios after twirling a QS against the visiting Phillies: 1.69 ERA, 0.84 WHIP through 10.2 IP. Beware, though, as his peripheral stats hint at some negative regression: 4.73 FIP, .148 BABIP, 112.9% LOB(!).
Foster Griffin, Washington Nationals @ Pittsburgh Pirates
The 30-year-old southpaw has lasted 5.0 IP in each of his first two starts, and has been stingy with runs allowed, as evidenced by his 2.70 ERA. He has allowed two home runs which have been the source of all the tallies scored on him. He has racked up 11 Ks over his two times atop the hill, which is another attractive aspect of his pitching results, albeit over limited action.
Friday, April 17, 2025
Nick Martinez, Tampa Bay Rays @ Pittsburgh Pirates
The right-handed veteran has tossed a pair of QS to open his first season with the Rays, although he is still seeking his first victory on the season. He has been generating Ks at a below-average rate, as expected, but has been demonstrating incredibly effective control (0.8 BB/9 over his 12.0 IP).
Zack Littell, Washington Nationals vs. San Francisco Giants
The righty is being stretched out in the early part of the season, having signed with the team in early March. He has been uncharacteristically wild to open the action in 2026, and that should improve, resulting in a better-looking WHIP in the future.
Janson Junk, Miami Marlins vs. Milwaukee Brewers
Despite twirling a QS and lowering his ERA to an attractive 3.09 (with an equally appealing WHIP of 1.20), the Miami righthander took his first loss of the year, courtesy of the visiting Reds. His K production is below-average, but he has been showing off his excellent control by allowing just one walk in each of his first two trips to the middle of the diamond. Note that he has been more of a road-warrior than a pitcher who finds comfort pitching from his home mound, if you have reason to skip his potential streaming start here.
Aaron Civale, Athletics vs. Chicago White Sox
The eight-season veteran right-hander has been solid for the A’s, although he does not have a victory to show for his efforts yet. He has gone 5.0 IP in each of his two road starts, so perhaps this contest at home will allow him to pitch deep enough into the game to at least collect a QS if not a win. He has been an average K producer, but his control needs some tuning (4.50 BB/9 but only over a limited 10.0 IP). Despite the disadvantages of his home park, the matchup has possibilities considering the opponent’s road woes to open the campaign.
Saturday, April 18, 2025
Adrian Houser, San Francisco Giants @ Washington Nationals
There are scant attractive streaming options to wind up the scoring period, but the 33-year-old righthander is facing a team that has struggled mightily in their home park to open the season. Houser has the ability to keep the ball in the park, and also induces a significant number of grounders from opposing hitters (55.8% GB in his two 2026 outings). Do not expect great strikeout numbers, but his control should help offset the number of hits he allows.
