Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - 6/6
As was the case last week, this scoring period offers a relative wealth of top-tier dual-start arms to plug into your fantasy baseball rotations, while the available middle group of Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers is as bereft of options as it has been all season thus far. There are, unfortunately, a fairly large group of bottom tier hurlers that you will want to avoid sliding into your fantasy rotations at this time. Fortunately, there are a number of Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters that should warrant some interest from fantasy managers when setting their Week 12 lineups.
Please realize that these articles feature the most recent rotation information available at the time they are written, but circumstances can change due to weather conditions, injuries, and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies, but this article is meant to provide analysis; it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.
Without further ado, here are this week’s two-start pitchers:

Another set of aces or near-aces to plug into your fantasy rotations for Week 12’s action. Should you have the fortune to be able to start any of these hurlers this week, do so, without concern about where they are going to be toeing the rubber or against whom they are plying their trade. Just wind ‘em up and let ‘em go.

| Tomoyuki Sugano COL | vs. Colin Rea CHC | @ Jeffrey Springs ATH |
| Tue 6/9 8:40 PM EDT | Sun 6/14 3:05 PM EDT |
Abbott tossed his second consecutive quality start (QS) against the visiting Royal squad on Wednesday, picking up five strikeouts over those 6.0 IP, but also allowing four walks. During his most recent stretch of seven starts, he has been averaging four free passes per nine innings, not a great sign of control. Admittedly, though, his ratios have been impressive: 2.25 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 40.0 IP. The K rate is a below average 6.2 on the season, which coupled with the lack of control, makes him a second tier dual start option. His two upcoming starts are against SPs that reside in the lower tier this week, so the matchups are favorable in that respect.
Sugano has a couple of factors working against him being a generally useful Fantasy Baseball starting pitcher: his home ballpark and his limited strikeout production while on the bump, whether at Coors Field or on the road. He has become the most dependable Rockies SP, for what that is worth in determining whether to use him during his two-start weeks. This scoring period sees him with a pair of favorable matchups, as both opponents are playing in venues where they have struggled with sub-.500 production this season to date.

The drill with this group is to avoid the lure of their two trips to the mound over the course of the upcoming seven days of MLB action, and avoid the potential damage they could do to your ratios without providing much in terms of counting stats. If you are seeking an arm or two to fill up some innings, turn your attention to the second portion of this report immediately below, and stay away from the bottom tier SPs.
Potential Streaming Options for Week 12
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters candidates:
Tuesday, June 9, 2026
Walbert Urena, Los Angeles Angels vs. Houston Astros
Kai-Wei Teng, Houston Astros @ Los Angeles Angels
The streaming discussion begins with a contest where both SPs are worthy of consideration as potential arms to add to your Week 12 rotations. Urena is coming off his fourth QS of the season, and during the course of his eight starts, he has accumulated an attractive 2.53 ERA and 1.24 WHIP while racking up 39 Ks during those 42.2 IP. He has also walked an unattractive 22 batters during those innings, a downside to his general upside production.
On the other side of the field, Teng has much less time under his belt as a starter heading into Week 12, but has been wildly efficient over his most recent three times on the hill, collecting a 1.69 ERA and 1.13 WHIP over those 16.0 IP, where his K rate is an admirable 11.3 K/9. As with the Angel hurler he is facing, he needs to harness his control, as demonstrated by his season-long 4.1 BB/9 (42.0 IP in 2026 thus far).
Andrew Alvarez, Washington Nationals @ San Francisco Giants
The 26-year-old southpaw is being stretched out, having gone 4.1 IP in his most recent no-decision against the visiting Marlin team. He held Miami to a single earned run, and his ERA now sits at an acceptable 3.55 with a useful 1.23 WHIP accompanying that ratio. He is also providing good strikeout production with a 9.75 K/9 rate through his 20.1 IP amassed in relief and as a starter. This matchup profiles as a positive, given his team’s road warrior ways and the Giants’ struggles at Oracle Park.
Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Andre Pallante, St. Louis Cardinals @ New York Mets
After twirling a pair of QS, the 27-year-old right-hander was touched for four earned tallies over just 3.0 IP against the visiting Cubs team. Over the course of his prior seven trips to the mound before his recent stumble against Chicago, he had accumulated a useful 3.37 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with a 36:12 K/BB ratio over those 40.0 IP. That sort of production on the bump makes for a useful arm to snag off the wire for a streaming start…or more. The Mets are not pushovers at home, but neither are they intimidating as hosts, being as they are a team residing in the basement of their division.
Brandon Young, Baltimore Orioles vs. Seattle Mariners
The second-year righty has tossed three QS during the course of his last five starts, including his most recent time on the hill against the visiting Blue Jays. He has gathered a superior 2.86 ERA over those 28.1 IP, while also posting a 1.27 WHIP. This is a home start against a team that is playing .500 ball on the road, and Young’s team plays well at Camden Yards.
Thursday, June 11, 2026
Christian Scott, New York Mets vs. St. Louis Cardinals
The 26-year-old right-hander tied his season high mark by striking out eight visiting Marlin hitters in his latest trip to toe the rubber. He carries an impressive 2.97 ERA into Week 12, although his WHIP is inflated due to a lack of control, evidenced by his 16 walks handed out over his 30.1 IP. His team is playing .500 ball at Citi Field, although the opponent here is also doing well on the road in their games, so that home field advantage may be a wash.
Anthony Kay, Chicago White Sox vs. Atlanta Braves
Martin Perez, Atlanta Braves @ Chicago White Sox
Both these competing SPs are coming off recent victories. Both pitchers are below-average K producers, Kay missing fewer bats with his 6.6 K/9, although the 7.3 rate offered up by Perez is not all that much more attractive for fantasy purposes. Perez has the edge in the area of control, however, with a stellar 1.06 WHIP as opposed the Pale Hose hurler’s inflated 1.40, most due to handing out plenty of base knocks to opposing batters, as both SPs have below-average walk rates this season. Ultimately, both arms are worth a streaming shot, although pitching at home does tip the scales slightly in Kay’s favor, push comes to shove.
Ryan Feltner, Colorado Rockies vs. Chicago Cubs
It is rare to favor a Colorado hurler at home, given the home park’s hitter favoring tendencies, but the six-year veteran of the Rockies rotation is pitching extraordinarily well at Coors Field this season. His last three home starts have seen him yield just four earned runs over those 13.2 IP, with a stellar 10:2 K/9 ratio over those three trips to the hill. Of course, two of those appearances were prior to his IL stint with an elbow issue. Still, the Cubs are playing sub-.500 ball away from Wrigley Field in 2026, so this could prove to be another favorable home matchup for the 29-year-old right-hander.
Kumar Rocker, Texas Rangers @ Kansas City Royals
The 26-year-old righty collected his fourth QS of the season last time on the hill, and his second in his last three starts. He currently sports a useful 3.54 ERA and a 44:25 K/BB ratio over his 56.0 IP in 2026. The control could use some work, certainly, and it would be a boost to see his strikeout numbers head upward, to something closer to his previous levels, but the decrease in his fastball velocity may not allow for that development. This matchup, despite being on the road, does have possible upside, given the state of the Royals’ season and their last place in their division status.
Friday, June 12, 2026
Sean Burke, Chicago White Sox vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
There is plenty to recommend the third year right-hander: a 3.72 ERA over 65.1 IP, combined with an excellent 1.13 WHIP and 60:18 K/BB ratio over his 12 appearances this season (10 starts). Even with the Dodgers as the opponent, the White Sox are playing exceedingly well at home in 2026. His 3.31 FIP suggests that he may even have experienced a bit of bad luck and that his success on the bump can continue going forward.
Tatsuya Imai, Houston Astros @ Kansas City Royals
The import from the Japanese leagues tossed his second consecutive QS, although he took a tough loss in the home contest against the Milwaukee squad, allowing just two earned runs. He was credited with striking out five Brewer hitters over his 6.0 IP. In limited action over his seven starts this season, he has been much more of a road warrior, and the Royals are mired in last place in their division currently.
Matthew Liberatore, St. Louis Cardinals @ Minnesota Twins
The young southpaw held the visiting Cubs scoreless over the 5.1 IP he was on the bump in his last outing, his third victory of the 2026 season. The road game against the Twins is not a terrible matchup, as Minnesota is not exactly a potent offense, but then again, neither is his offense exactly putting fear into opposing teams. He does offer some valuable strikeout potential with his 8.3 K/9 this year.
Keider Montero, Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Guardians
The young 25-year-old righty was pulled after just 65 pitches in his latest turn on the hill, despite shutting out the host White Sox on two hits and no walks. He has emerged during the struggling Tigers’ season as a dependable SP, with a 3.69 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over his 61.0 IP tossed thus far this season. He is a below-average K producer but shows off excellent control: 6.3 K/9, 2.2 BB/9. He has experienced good results when pitching away from Comerica Park this season, so the road game in Cleveland is not a daunting matchup contest.
Zack Littell, Washington Nationals vs. Seattle Mariners
The veteran right-hander is working on a four consecutive victory streak, and gets to face the Mariners at home, a positive as the Seattle team is playing .500 ball when away from home this season so far. He offers sub-average strikeout production and needs better control, but the win streak is impressive, and it will be interesting to see if he can continue the run.
Saturday, June 13, 2026
Gage Jump, Athletics vs Colorado Rockies
With just two MLB starts to his credit, we are taking a chance in relying on him to repeat his recent success against the host Cubs, who he held to just three hits and one run over 7.0 IP. He also racked up five Ks, matching his effort against the visiting Mariners in his first 2026 start. Taking on the Rockies at his home park is a lovely matchup for the rookie hurler.
Jack Flaherty, Detroit Tigers @ Cleveland Guardians
The veteran righty finally picked up a victory this season, after going 0-6 over his previous seven times toeing the rubber. He was pulled from the start against the host Rays after tossing 94 pitches and falling again short of qualifying for a QS, although not as close to qualifying as in his previous start where he was but one out short. By any definition, the 2026 season has been disappointing for the Tigers and Flaherty, but a strong effort replicating his last two times on the hill in Cleveland would be a step in the right direction for the hurler, and his team.
