Fantasy Baseball 2025 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - Week 10

The unofficial start to summer has come and gone, but the Fantasy Baseball 2025 Two-Start Pitchers you want to consider slotting into your lineups are here for yet another week of fantasy baseball. There are certainly numerous arms to consider running out there for their set of dual starts, if you are fortunate enough to have one or more of the top-tier hurlers on your team(s). Should that not be the case, do not despair, as there are a fair number of Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starters to consider plugging into your fantasy rotation for some single start goodness, profiled in the second portion of this week’s report.
Please realize that these articles feature most recent rotation information available when the article is written, but that circumstances do change due to weather conditions, injuries and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies but this article is meant to provide analysis, it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.
Without further ado, here are this week’s Fantasy Baseball 2025 Two-Start Pitchers to start or avoid:

A full set of aces residing in the top tier this week. It matters not where these hurlers are toeing the rubber or the identity of the offensive players taking them on. These SPs are in the top-level group because of their potential to deal while scrapping the slab, at home or in a foreign venue. If you are fortunate enough to have one or more of these arms on your roster, take full advantage of them for both their trips to the middle of the diamond in Week 10.

Horton, the Cubbies’ rookie righthander, continues to skate on thin ice, allowing better than a hit per inning over his four trips to the mound as a SP this season, although aside from his recent no-decision against the host Marlins, his control had been excellent. The strikeouts have not been accumulating for him at the big-league level, despite showing skill in that area at Triple-A, although he did manage to whiff six Colorado hitters in his last start. He has a pair of road contests on tap in Week 10, with the second trip to scrape the slab in Detroit looking like the tougher test for the 23-year-old.
Smith, another rookie righty plying his trade in the Windy City, albeit on the south side of town, has produced an attractive set of ratio stats over his 57.0 IP: 2.68 ERA, 1.16 WHIP. The 8.5 K/9 rate is useful, as well, just like his propensity to keep the ball in the yard (0.6 HR/9). His peripheral metrics suggest that he has been a tad lucky so far this season: 3.67 FIP, .253 BABIP, but not dramatically concerning, even if some adjustment occurs as the season progresses. He has a pair of home games on tap, although his home/road splits do not suggest he is necessarily uncomfortable away from his home park, either.
The righthander Pallante came within an out of twirling his third and fourth consecutive quality starts (QS), with his control deserting him in the contest against visiting Tigers as evidenced by the four walks he allowed, and then the three free passes handed out to the host Orioles in his next trip to climb the hill. He has a couple of home games on the schedule for Week 10’s action, the location where he has enjoyed more success, albeit not tremendously, this season. He is a below-average K producer, but is exceptionally skilled at generating grounders from opposing hitters (63.6% GB rate over his 61.2 IP).
Kolek delivered his second QS among his five starts since joining the Padre rotation in Toronto, bouncing back from his only loss, a five-run effort against the visiting Mariners. He then had a terrible first inning in his next appearance, but settled down and his offense responded to provide him with his third victory of the short season. His 30.2 IP are a small sample size, and until his awful first frame against the visiting Miami offense, his numbers were fantasy useful. His two-start Week 10 features two road games, which plays into his strength thus far in 2025 (again, small sample size, so adjustments may take place).
Cannon, another young righty toiling on the hill for the Pale Hose with some effectiveness, in the form of four QS over his last six outings. His last five starts have seen him post a 3.72 ERA and 1.21 WHIP, with a superior 0.7 BB/9 rate. The 5.9 K/9 rate is below his season average of 6.9 K/9 over his full complement of 60.2 IP, which still is a below-average whiff rate. Two home contests play into his significant home advantage this year, even if both starts are against visiting division rivals.

As is the case most weeks, going with favorable venue and/or opponent could make one or more of the bottom-tier arms a potentially useful hurler for your fantasy squad(s), but be wary of the damage any of these SPs could cause to your ratios while not necessarily augmenting your counting stat totals to a large degree. If you are seeking streaming starters, look to the second portion of this article for SPs which are projected to provide some fantasy goodness.

Potential Streaming Options for Week 10
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2025 Streaming Starter candidates:
Noah Cameron, Kansas City Royals @ St. Louis Cardinals
Miles Mikolas, St. Louis Cardinals vs Kansas City Royals
This should prove to be an interesting and potential profitable in a fantasy baseball sense matchup of two effective SPs. The Royal rookie southpaw Cameron has only started three MLB contests, but has tossed a QS in each of those trips to the hill. He sports a superior set of ratios, with a 0.93 ERA and 0.67 WHIP accumulated over his 19.1 IP to date as a member of the Kansas City rotation. He also racked up eight Ks in his most recent start, so perhaps the ability to miss bats he demonstrated during his minor league experience is beginning to show up in the big leagues.
The veteran righthander Mikolas is working on a two game QS streak himself, although there is little hope his K rate is going to miraculously move beyond the below-average rate he has owned throughout his career. He has gone 4-0 over his last five times while toeing the rubber and has pushed his ERA to a useful 3.51. The 1.17 WHIP is another positive factor he brings to the park, together with a stingy HR/9 rate of 0.53 over his 51.1 IP this season.
Â
Quinn Priester, Milwaukee Brewers @ Cincinnati Reds
The young righty has been an effective addition to the Brew Crew rotation, posting a handy 2.53 ERA and 1.08 WHIP over the course of his last four times atop the bump. During those 21.1 IP, he has also improved his command and control, handing out a single free pass in each of his last appearances, and collecting seven Ks against the host Pirates in his last contest. He has been more of a road warrior this season, so the road game in Cincy plays to his strengths, although it is never entirely favorable to for a hurler to take the mound in the Great American Ballpark.
Â
Cade Povich, Baltimore Orioles @Â Seattle Mariners
The second-year lefthander has been settling in, offering his owners a 3.86 ERA and 1.04 WHIP over the course of his last five times scraping the slab, posting a 26:9 K/BB ratio over those 28.0 IP. His production this season away from Oriole Park at Camden Yards has been superior to his efforts at home, so a trip to Seattle plays to his best efforts on the season. It has admittedly been difficult to start a Baltimore SP this season, given the team’s struggles thus far into the 2025 season, but this hurler has been showing positive aspects, even if those are not shown in the win column.
Â
Cal Quantrill, Miami Marlins vs Colorado Rockies
The Marlin righty is back as a streaming option, although he was pulled early in his Week 9 outing despite giving up just one run on three hits over the 3.1 IP he was allowed to work on the hill against the host Angels. No injury was reported, but he has not pitched deeper than five innings in any but one of his starts in 2025. Taking on the Rockies at home is a great matchup, however, and thus he lands as a suggested streaming option again in Week 10.
Â
Colin Rea, Chicago Cubs @ Washington Nationals
The veteran righthander had a mixed bag of results in his last outing, striking out a season-high eight Cincy batters, but also allowing the most earned runs he has coughed up over his eight starts this year, when six Red runners touched the dish as a result of his efforts on the hill. It is anticipated that the game at The Great American Ballpark was simply an aberration, and that he will return to his effective tactics on the bump.
Â
Luis L. Ortiz, Cleveland Guardians @ New York Yankees
The Cleveland righthander has been offered up as a suitable streaming choice to consider over each of the last two weeks in this article, and while he has not been able to deliver a victory for those who used him as a temporary addition to their pitching staffs, he has produced strikeouts at better than a K per inning over his last three starts, as well as a desirable 3.38 ERA. The overly generous 4.7 BB/9 is of concern and negatively affects his WHIP (1.43 over his 53.1 IP this season), and contributes to his inability to tally any wins since mid-April.
Â
Davis Martin, Chicago White Sox vs Detroit Tigers
The 28-year-old righty collected his third QS in a row, holding the visiting Ranger offense to two earned runs on four hits in a 6.0 IP no-decision. His strikeout numbers are below-average (5.5 K/9 over 62.2 IP) but to his credit, his control is above-average (2.3 BB/9 through 11 appearances, 10 starts). He has been more effectual on the mound at home, so facing the Tigers at Rate Field is a plus, especially since the Detroiters have been much more dominant at home than when on the road.
Â
Zack Littell, Tampa Bay Rays vs Miami Marlins
Edward Cabrera Miami Marlins, @ Tampa Bay Rays
This is our second contest of the week where either side of the pitching matchup offers potential streaming value. The Tampa Bay righty has won four of his last six appearances, with two no-decisions, and he has compiled an attractive 2.95 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over those 36.2 IP. His K rate is not something to bank on for fantasy production, sitting at just 5.8 K/9 over the course of the year (65.2 IP). On the other side of the coin, his control is superb, as evidenced by his 1.4 BB/9 rate, accumulated over his 11 times atop the bump.
On the other side of the field, the 27-year-old Cabrera racked up an impressive 10 Ks against the host Angels in his last trip to toe the rubber, coming one out short of a QS, the third time this season he has suffered that fate. He has been much more of a road warrior this year, and thus taking the ball in his hand as the starting pitcher away from his home park plays to his strengths.
Â
Chris Paddack, Minnesota Twins vs Toronto Blue Jays
The Minnesota righthander is being featured as a potential streaming choice for the third week in a row, and if you opted to use him in Weeks 8 and 9, you would have seen good results, despite the two losses he suffered. He had been coming off two consecutive victories that were also QS, thus the recommendation to employ his services for your fantasy teams. He is a below-average K producer, but his control has improved recently, helping to push his WHIP down to a useful level for fantasy baseball purposes. He is toiling at home in this contest, a positive aspect for the 29-year-old veteran.
Â
Randy Vasquez, San Diego Padres @ Milwaukee Brewers
The San Diego third-year righty has not allowed more than three earned runs (twice) over his last six times on the hill, and his ratios during that stretch are admirable: 3.31 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over those 32.2 IP. A negative feature to his game is the below-average K rate of 5.2 over his 55.1 IP accumulated over 11 starts this season. Pitching on the road makes for a less than desired circumstance, as well, given his home/road splits to date.
Â
Chad Patrick, Milwaukee Brewers vs San Diego Padres
The Brewer rookie righthander Patrick has the advantage of a home start, playing to his home/road splits. He offers average K production with his 8.0 K/9 rate over 57.2 IP this season. His ratios are fantasy useful, sitting at 2.97 for his ERA and 1.25 WHIP.Â
Â
Ryan Yarbrough, New York Yankees vs Boston Red Sox
The 33-year-old southpaw picked up his first QS among four starts this season, by holding the host Angels to one single earned tally, limiting the Los Angeles hitters to two hits and one walk, while striking out seven. He has limited opposing offenses to a mere five runs in his four starts, accruing a 2.25 ERA and 0.85 WHIP over those 20.0 IP. He gets to face the division-rival Red Sox while toeing the slab at home, and Boston is playing sub-.500 ball when absent from Fenway Park in 2025.
Â
Ryne Nelson, Arizona Diamondbacks @ Cincinnati Reds
The righthander may not line up as the SP in this contest, should Eduardo Rodriguez return from his stay on the IL due to a shoulder issue, but if he does garner this start, his last two times on the hill recommend his use as a streaming option. Over those 11.2 IP, he has a 0.77 ERA and 0.69 WHIP, with just one free pass allowed. The K rate is nothing to brag about, with just six whiffs to his credit. As noted, the issue may be moot as he may not be part of the Diamondback rotation after his scheduled start at home against Washington.
