The second half of the year has not been overly kind to Noah Cameron, and he simply can’t miss bats. He had a 21% K-rate before the break, and it’s down to 15% since the second half kicked off. He’s had five or fewer punchouts in five consecutive starts and is coming off a zero strikeout outing across five innings. The Angels strike out a lot, but it’s 24% against lefties, which is far lower than it is against righties. The Angels are also a top-10 offense against lefties, which could lead to an early exit from Cameron in this spot.

 

 

 

Yandy Diaz PrizePicks MLB Pick: More Than 6.5 Hitter Fantasy Score

This matchup is quite good against Logan Allen, as Yandy Diaz has loved facing off against left-handed pitching. He’s hitting better against righties, but his SLG% against lefties is 100 points higher against southpaws. He has a .540 SLG%, .893 OPS, .263 ISO, and .375 wOBA against them. He’s also been dominant at home this year. His SLG% is 100 points higher at home, as is OPS and ISO, too. Circling back to Logan Allen, Allen has allowed a .163 ISO to righties, but it’s .203 xISO. He’s also allowed a .343 and .356 xwOBA. It’s a great spot for Diaz to be in.
