Today, we have plenty of talent on the diamond and many different ways to build your lineup. Our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.
Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!
This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.
The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.
The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.
The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers
Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups
Core MLB DFS Pitchers
Carlos Rodon, New York Yankees
The win equity is there. The innings have been great. The strikeouts are lacking a bit, but I'm not putting it past Rodon to have a ceiling strikeout game considering he has 186 across 176.1 IP this year. The Twins are league average since the deadline against left-handed pitching.
Kyle Bradish, Baltimore Orioles
Bradish has been really good in the few games that he's pitched in this year and has another good matchup on Monday. Bradish faces off against the White Sox and they rank 18th in OPS, wOBA, and wRC+ against righties since the trade deadline. They have a 24% K-rate over that span, too. Bradish has a 2.65 ERA, 2.66 xERA, and a 32% K-rate thus far.
Jack Leiter, Texas Rangers
The Astros offense are in a free fall. The Astros rank 25th in OPS, 27th in ISO, 24th in wOBA and wRC+ since the All-Star break against right-handed pitching. Jack Leiter's season has gone the other way as he's been ballin' on the mound. After his 4.37 ERA in the first half, he's pitched to a 2.94 ERA in the second half. His K-rate is WAY up, too, from 20% to 28% from first to second half.
Kai-Wei Teng, San Francisco Giants
Average. Mid. Middle of the pack. League average. That's how you can describe the Diamondbacks since the trade deadline. They do strike out a bunch, posting a 23.6% K-rate since August 1st. Teng has a 7.54 ERA but a 3.69 xERA. He's also missed bats at an elite rate notching a 25.9% K-rate. He just needs to control the baseball more and he could put up a crooked score.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters
Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.
Core MLB DFS Hitters
Yankees, Home Runs, Per Usual
The Yankees are very good against bad teams and they hit a lot of home runs, so here we go again. The Yankees face Simeon Woods Richardson who allows a LOT of flyballs.Â
vs. RH - .193 ISO, .241 xISO, .322 wOBA, .347 xwOBA
vs. LH - .164 ISO, .168 xISO, .336 wOBA, .307 xwOBA
With righties being better against Woods Richardson, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Jose Caballero stand out. Rounding out stacks with Trent Grisham, Ben Rice, Cody Bellinger, and Jazz Chisholm
Blue Jays Top Stack of Day?
Give me all the Blue Jays. ALL of them. The Rays are sending Joe Boyle to the mound tonight after recalling him from the minor leagues. He's been a disaster at the major league level in his last five straight outings. He hasn't been able to throw strikes and faces an elite offense in his home ballpark, which is VERY small.
vs. LH - .195 ISO, .221 xISO, .320 wOBA, .343 xwOBA
vs. RH - .175 ISO, .148 xISO, .323 wOBA, .294 xwOBA
Here are the Blue Jays numbers against righties;
- George Springer - .253 ISO, .318 xISO, .418 wOBA, .431 xwOBA, 21 HR
- Vladimir Guerrero - .184 ISO, .205 xISO, .370 wOBA, .394 xwOBA, 17 HR
- Addison Barger - .239 ISO, .240 xISO, .339 wOBA, .357 xwOBA, 19 HR
- Daulton Varsho - .417 ISO, .338 xISO, .391 wOBA, .367 xwOBA, 18 HR
- Alejandro Kirk - .139 ISO, .215 xISO, .347 wOBA, .378 xwOBA, 10 HR
Orioles Fly High Against Burke
There have been a LOT of base runners in Sean Burke's latest starts and he has not had a good time in the second half of this season. His opponents are slashing .272/.364/.495 and a .372 wOBA. Burke's K-rate is up, but so are his walks and home runs too.
vs. LH - .193 ISO, .188 xISO, .339 wOBA & xwOBA
vs. RH - .203 ISO, .261 xISO, .350 wOBA, .373 xwOBA
From the right side, Jeremiah Jackson, Ryan Mountcastle & Tyler O'Neill are the Orioles options I'd play. Gunnar Henderson, Jackson Holliday, Samuel Basallo, and Dylan Beavers are the priorities lefties.
Giants Go Giant Against Gallen
Although Zac Gallen has largely been better since the All-Star game, but overall he's struggled this season. He's been hit both by righties and lefties. Lefties have a .176 ISO & xISO and lefties have a .198 ISO and .219 xISO.
The first two hitters for the Giants that stand out for me is Rafael Devers and Willy Adames. Devers has a .240 ISO, .272 xISO, .384 wOBA, and .404 xwOBA while Adames is at a .185 ISO, .214 xISO, .329 wOBA, and .348 xwOBA. Matt Chapman is the next Giant I'd get to posting a .237 ISO, .201 xISO, .361 wOBA, and .354 xwOBA.
Finishing stacks with Jung Hoo Lee, Drew Gilbert, and Patrick Bailey is solid.
Cardinals HR Upside?
The Cardinals really aren't a good offense, but they face a guy in Zack Littell who allows a LOT of home runs. 34 to this point leads the league.
Righties have 1.95 HR/9, .217 ISO, .229 xISO, .325 wOBA, and .351 xwOBA. Lefties have a .191 ISO, .203 xISO, .304 wOBA, and .326 xwOBA.
This is the most full the Cardinals have looked in a while with Brendan Donovan back for the past few games and Nolan Arenado back today.
- Brendan Donovan - .145 ISO, .199 xISO, .357 wOBA, .387 xwOBA
- Alec Burleson - .179 ISO, .217 xISO, .350 wOBA, .363 xwOBA
- Willson Contreras - .181 ISO, .229 xISO, .333 wOBA, .359 xwOBA
- Ivan Herrera - .135 ISO, .181 xISO, .331 wOBA, .345 xwOBA
Top One-Off's/Mini Stacks
- Corbin Carroll, Ketel Marte & Geraldo Perdomo, Arizona Diamondbacks
- Joc Pederson, Texas Rangers
- Junior Caminero & Brandon Lowe, Tampa Bay Rays
