Welcome to the Fantasy Alarm MLB DFS Playbook for Friday, September 26th!

Happy Friday! We are entering into the final series and the final weekend of the season! We have plenty of teams still playing for something, as we still have divisions, wild-card spots, first-round byes, and home-field advantage not wrapped up yet. We get a 12-game main slate today starting at 7:05 PM ET on DraftKings and FanDuel. Our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.

Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!

This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.

The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.

The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.

The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

Make sure you subscribe to the Fantasy Alarm YouTube channel so you never miss a show! Also, join the Fantasy Alarm Discord to get your DFS lineup questions answered by our MLB DFS team! Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers

Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups

Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Shane Bieber, Toronto Blue Jays

Toronto is still fighting for the division, and Shane Bieber sets them up well today, going against the Rays. HE has looked fantastic since returning from the IL. In 6 starts, he has gone at least 5.1 innings in each one and has struck out 34 in 35.1 innings with a 3.57 ERA and a 0.96 WHIP. With the good matchup, he is deserving of the top spot among the pitchers today, and I am willing to pay the price for him.

Quinn Priester, Milwaukee Brewers

Quinn Priester is coming off a 10-strikeout game against the Angels (the third time he has hit double-digit strikeouts this season) and now gets to face the Reds at home, which is a great spot for him to continue the dominance. The Brewers still want to lock up the top spot over Philly and will let Priester go out and do his thing today to get it done.

Brandon Sproat, New York Mets

The Mets are fighting for their playoff life, and they need Sproat to get things done today, but I believe in his ability to do so against the Marlins. He only went 4 innings in his last outing, but in his first two starts, he had back-to-back quality starts. Going against Miami today, I am not sure why he is this cheap. At this price, he seems like a slam dunk for great value with plenty of upside.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters

Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.

Core MLB DFS Hitters

Houston Astros

Houston has its back against the wall, but it gets a great chance to keep its October dreams alive today, getting to face Kyle Hendricks. You know we love to stack against pitchers like Kyle Hendricks, and today is no exception, with some great options in Houston like Jose Altuve, Isaac Paredes, Christian Walker, Yainer Diaz, and Carlos Correa.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays' offense has been struggling, but Adrian Houser might be the answer to help them bounce back and make a push to keep the division from the Yankees. Houser gives up a lot of contact, and his 3.18 ERA is outperforming his underlying metrics; Toronto should find a way to keep up the offense they started to find yesterday against Boston with players like Vladimir Guerrero, David Schneider, George Springer, Anthony Santander, and Nathan Lukes.

San Francisco Giants

San Francisco might be out of the playoff race, but they can still score plenty of runs today, getting to play in Colorado. The Rockies already have a historically bad run differential, and I would bet we see it climb a little more today from the bats of Rafael Devers, Matt Chapman, Willy Adames, Heliot Ramos, and Jung Hoo Lee.
