Vegas Totals: MIL/COL (highest-projected game), BOS/NYY - LAA/LAD (tied for second-highest)

Highest K-Projections: Jacob Misiorowski 7.5 O/U (-149), Yoshinobu Yamamoto 7.5 O/U (+120), Nolan McLean 5.5 O/U (-130), Jack Leiter 5.5 O/U (+123), Will Warren 5.5 O/U (+129)

MLB Weather Today, 6/6

BOS @ NYY - Late start or early in-game delay likely. Low chance of PPD.

MIL @ COL - Temperatures in the 80s with winds blowing out to center field around 15 mph. Great hitting weather.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Starting Pitchers

MLB DFS Top Pitchers

Jacob Misiorowski (MIL)

Analysis: Misiorowski has been on a different level than any other starter in baseball in terms of strikeouts this season. His 39.6% strikeout rate is more than nine points better than the next qualified starter. He will need to battle elite hitting conditions in Coors Field tonight, but that context is contributing to an attractive ownership projection.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto (LAD)

Analysis: Yamamoto continues to be excellent, with a 2.86 ERA through 11 starts. The strikeouts are starting to come around also, as he has at least eight in three of his last four starts. Tonight, he gets an elite matchup against an Angels team that strikes out at the highest rate in baseball against right-handed pitching.

MLB DFS Value Pitchers

Will Warren (NYY)

Analysis: Keep an eye on the weather here, as there is a significant risk for an early delay if there is no late start. If it's a late start and play, Warren is in an excellent matchup against a Red Sox offense that owns just an 88 wRC+ against righties.

Nolan McLean (NYM)

Analysis: McLean got back on track with five innings of one-run ball against the Marlins after a couple of rough starts. Overall, he's deserved better results than his surface-level 4.21 ERA. Tonight, he gets an elite matchup against San Diego, who has posted an 87 WRC+ against righties while striking out at the fourth-highest rate.

Jack Leiter (TEX)

Analysis: Leiter is coming off his best start of the season, with 10 strikeouts against Kansas City. This is not an especially great spot for Letier, as the Cleveland lineup is extremely (possibly entirely) left-handed. However, he still possesses upside at his attractive price tag, thanks to an above-average strikeout rate.

Tanner Bibee (CLE)

Analysis: Bibee has been inconsistent this season, with a 4.57 ERA through 13 starts. He draws a neutral matchup against Texas, but he comes with a value price tag that leaves plenty of room for upside. On a slate where expensive Brewers and Dodgers bats are in elite spots, upside from a value pitching option would be welcome.

Top Options For Strikeouts

Three top strikeout targets in today's MLB DFS projections each carry a K/9 above 10.0 and favorable opponent strikeout splits. K-prop lines and value ratings are incorporated below for DFS and prop context. These are the arms building the highest strikeout ceilings on the nine-game slate.

Our model identifies these arms as the highest-ceiling plays for Alt-K lines today:

Jacob Misiorowski: 39.6% K% (13.7 K/9)

Yoshinobu Yamamoto: 25.6% K% (9.0 K/9)

Nolan McLean: 27.9% K% (10.5 K/9)

Jack Leiter: 25.8% K% (10.0 K/9)

Tanner Bibee: 20.7% K% (7.8 K/9)

Best Odds For A Win

The following MLB DFS picks offer a combination of favorable win odds, sustainable ERA and xFIP metrics, and soft opponent matchups. Each carry K-prop lines worth noting alongside their DFS value at reduced ownership relative to the top tier.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Stacks & Hitters

MLB DFS Top Hitters

Brewers First Five (MIL)

Analysis: The top five hitters in the Brewers' line-up are all elite against Agnos. The righty has reverse power splits in his brief career, but lefties do plenty of damage as well. Agnos has managed just a 15.9% strikeout rate this season, and it was even lower out of the bullpen last season.

Shohei Ohtani (1B/OF, LAD) & Freddie Freeman (1B, LAD)

Analysis: Ohtani has been on an absolute tear, posting a 219 wRC+ over his last 100 plate appearances. Freeman continues to be an ultra-consistent left-handed presence at the top of the lineup. Both hitters have an ISO above .225 and a wOBA above .380 against right-handed pitching this season. Kochanowicz will pitch to contact and try to induce groundballs, which is a dangerous strategy against these two elite lefties.

Travis Bazzana (2B, CLE)

Analysis: Bazzana has been incredible for the Guardians, posting a 136 wRC+ through his first 143 career plate appearances. He's already racked up four homers and nine steals as he's taken over the leadoff role.

Corey Seager (SS, TEX)

Analysis: Seager has struggled to an 82 wRC+ this season, but that is unlikely to continue. He has been one of the best hitters in baseball over the past three seasons (152 wRC+), and he homered in his first game off the IL as he looks to get fully back on track. Bibee has surrendered a .229 ISO to lefties this season.

MLB DFS Value Hitters

Carson Benge (OF, NYM)

Analysis: Benge has taken off since being installed as the Mets' leadoff hitter. He owns a 113 wRC+ from the first spot in the order and gets an elite matchup tonight. Canning has surrendered a .324 ISO to lefties this year.

Jared Young (1B/OF, NYM)

Analysis: Young has already smacked three homers since returning from the IL less than two weeks ago. He is an extremely affordable hitter in the middle of the Mets lineup with an elite matchup.

Kyle Manzardo (1B, CLE)

Analysis: Mazardo got off to an abysmal start this season, but he has been outstanding more recently. Since May 1st, the lefty owns a 158 wRC+ and has mashed six home runs. He is near the minimum price and gets a strong matchup against a righty that has struggled to limit lefty power.

Ryan Ward (OF, LAD)

Analysis: Ward has tallied 30+ homers in each of his last two minor league seasons, and now he's getting a chance to prove himself at the big league level. He comes with some pinch-hit risk, but his fly-ball profile is the perfect skillset to counter the ground-ball ability of Kochanowicz.

MLB DFS Top Stacks

Primary Stack: Milwaukee Brewers vs Zach Agnos (COL RHP)

Why: The Brewers are set to be massive chalk again as they continue their series in Coors Field. They get a matchup against a low-strikeout pitcher who has allowed nearly 1.5 HR/9 in his career. The warm weather and winds blowing out further contribute to the slate's indisputable top-hitting environment.

Primary Stack: Los Angeles Dodgers vs Jack Kochanowicz (LAA RHP)

Why: The Dodgers have been the best offense in baseball against right-handed pitching with a 123 wRC+. Kochanowicz will be attempting to keep the ball on the ground (57% GB rate) as he has very little strikeout ability (16% K rate). The Dodgers' powerful fly-ball hitters have the skills to make it a rough night for the righty.

Primary Stack: New York Mets vs Griffin Canning (SD RHP)

Why: The Mets will have some popular value pieces that line up well against Canning, so why not add in the lower-owned top guys and make it a full stack? Canning has pitched to a 7.16 ERA through six starts and allowed nearly 2.0 HR/9, with lefties giving him massive problems.

"Contrarian" Stack: Cleveland Guardians vs Jack Leiter (TEX RHP)

Why: Leiter is a talented pitcher, but he can struggle with left-handed batters. Lefties have posted a .162 ISO against him this season, and the xISO is all the way up at .221. Cleveland can send nine lefties out there against him tonight.

"Contrarian" Stack: Texas Rangers vs Tanner Bibee (CLE RHP)

Why: Bibee has had some massive power splits this season, with lefties posting a .229 ISO against him. Texas hitters have some attractive price tags and can be used as a secondary stack or as the primary stack with elite pitching.

MLB DFS Lineups: Core MLB DFS Hitters & Pitchers

The "Chalk" (Popular)

The "Pivot" (Low

Owned)

The Winning Logic
Yamamoto (SP, chalk)Misiorowski (SP, similar tier)The Miz has been in a tier of his own in terms of strikeouts this season. He'll need to battle the elite hitting environment (warm temps and wind blowing out in Coors) as much as the Rockies' offense.
MIL as primary stackLAD + CLE as contrarian stacksMIL tallied just one run in the first inning last night before breaking through with eight runs in the final two frames. LAD is an elite offense facing a low-K pitcher, while CLE can send up nine lefties to face Leiter (.221 xISO vs LHB).
Hamilton + Rengifo (chalk value)Bazzana + Manzardo (lower owned)The bottom of the MIL order features a pair of bad hitters in an elite offensive environment. Pivot to better hitters who can expose a talented arm's weakness.
