Five games tonight and with the smaller player pools the abundance of your typical "value" type plays are short. I think there are players on tonight' slate who may not exactly be the cheapest but are good at their price tag given their upside tonight.

Yahoo! Fantasy

Bobby Portis, C MIL - Portis saw his minutes increase to 19 against Utah and with Brook Lopez again ruled out, I am expecting his minutes to at the very least remain consistent, if not climb into the 20-25 minute range. We know Portis can be a fantastic fantasy point per minute play and tonight he his min price against the Pistons.

Dorian Finney-Smith, PF DAL - DFS is going to be on the floor a ton tonight with Kristaps Porizingis and Maxi Kleber both ruled out. I like him tonight on Yahoo! and FanDuel for that fact because you get the extra point for defensive stats and DFS has five steals over the last three games.

DraftKings

Josh Hart, PF NOP - Brandon Ingram is expected to miss this one tonight and while the matchup against the Suns is not an easy one, we do know the minutes will be there and Hart is a player that can score and pull down some rebounds as well. On a slate like today, getting him under $5,000 is solid.

Cade Cunningham, PG/SG DET - Cunningham played 19 minutes in his season debut and while the rookie struggled to make his shots we have to also like the aggressiveness as he took eight shots, five three-point attempts, in those 19 minutes. Cunningham also pulled down seven boards with two assists and one block during his time on the floor. Great upside at $3,600 and likely the highest rostered player of the slate.

FanDuel

Eric Gordon, SG HOU - Bit a of dart throw here but hey that is what you get with value plays right? Gordon has gone for 25, 13, 35, 8, 26 over the last five games. If we can find some consistency then he is giving us 6-7-8x return on his price point. Let's hope the shot drops tonight.

JaVale McGee, C PHO - If Ayton sits then McGee is going to be super popular for tonight's slate. In 18 minutes off the bench the other night he went for eight points, seven boards. We always know he is a great fantasy point per minute player. If McGee sits, you could take a look at someone like Dwight Powell who played over 30 minutes the other night or Hassan Whiteside who went for 23 FP against the Kings in just 15 minutes earlier this season.
