DraftKings
Patrick Beverley vs. LAC ($4,000)
With D’Angelo Russell ruled out, all systems go for Beverley again. Beverley started and played 31 minutes, notching a double-double and nearly a triple-double. Beverley is not a high usage player by any stretch, but with Russell off the floor this year, he’s notched a 1.14 FP/min average, which is third behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards. Oh by the way, that near triple-double came against these same Clippers that he may or may not have spent some time playing for.
Nicolas Batum vs. MIN ($4,600)
There has been a new found aggression with Batum recently as he’s topped 10 shot attempts in three of his last four games. He’s shot the three ball extremely well in those three contests making three or more, which is a bonus on DraftKings as we know. Over the last week, with Marcus Morris off the floor, Batum’s averaging 1.01 FP/min. Batum is slotting in at the power-forward spot and the TWolves rank 23rd in terms of DVP against that spot. Ex[ect 30+ minutes of deployment and open shots once again.

Thaddeus Young vs. ORL ($4,600)
It’s always slightly nerve racking to trust Gregg Popovich, but with Jakob Poeltl out due to health and safety protocols, Young was thrusted into playing time last time out. Just 22 minutes as he split the center duties with Drew Eubanks, but those 22 minutes were quite productive. Young has always been elite at being in the passing lanes and blocking shots, which means more on sites like FanDuel and Yahoo! Fantasy. Only two teams turn the ball over more than Young, which could put him in prime position to have another big night in that regard.
Cade Cunningham vs. BKN ($4,200)
He still didn’t shoot the ball well again on Thursday but he came through regardless notching an 18-point double-double. He was 4-of-17 from the floor, but got to the line and made nine of his 10 free throws. Through three games Cunningham has a 26.5% USG rate, which is .2% off of the team lead. Two games ago, when Milwaukee blew Detroit’s lights out, Cunningham still managed 29 minutes so I’m not all that worried about that. Also, a concern may be that this is a back-to-back, but Detroit has come out and said there is no limit for Cunningham even when it comes to B2Bs.
Yahoo!
Mason Plumlee vs. SAC ($19)
What I find interesting is the minutes for Mason Plumlee are down, but with PJ Washington out earlier this year, Plumlee was playing 30 plus minutes and gave us two double-doubles. He’s giving us nearly a block and a steal per game and this is while sharing time. It’s an elite match-up for him going up against the 25th ranked defense against centers according to DvP. This game has a 231 total and if you’re looking to be a little contrarian, here’s how.
Josh Hart vs. GSW ($15)
Although Brandon Ingram could return here, Hart has carved himself out a nice role with this team and is simply too cheap. I’m giving the Pelicans a pass for their last performance because it was the second leg of a back-to-back. Hart has averaged .9 FP/min this year, which is super solid for a guy who’s just $15. Hart has topped 30 minutes in three straight games and twice scored 16 points and fell one and two rebounds short of a double-double.
