We have a five-game main slate on our hands on this Thursday slate with a lot of news breaking and news still to come. LeBron James has been ruled out, giving us plenty of value in the Lakers game. We still don't know what's going on in Philly considering they're playing a back-to-back. I'm here to sift through all the news and deliver some of my favorite value options of the slate. Let's dive in!

DraftKings

Carmelo Anthony vs. OKC ($5,300)

With LeBron James officially listed as out, we pivot to Anthony as an elite value at this price point. He likely doesn’t start as Malik Monk has started in place of James this year when he’s been out of the lineup, but that shouldn’t deter us at all. Anthony has topped 25 minutes in every game this season and has scored 15+ actual points in each of the last three games. With James off the floor, Anthony has a 19.9% USG rate and averages .86 FP/min. I’m comfortable, at this price, I feel better about Anthony in tournaments.

Cade Cunningham vs. PHI ($4,000)

Yeah man, I AM going back to the well. I’m not even really thinking twice about it either. You can look at his last game two ways. One way, he has shot the ball like absolute crap and that’s nothing but the truth. On the other hand, he’s not at ALL afraid to shoot the ball as he’s taken 22 shots through his first two games. He has a 22.5% USG, which is impressive. There’s a reason he was the first overall pick and there’s only a small window to get him at this price tag. Take advantage of it before that window is closed.

FanDuel

Mike Conley vs. ATL ($5,200)

This price is, well, too cheap. Straight up. The Jazz may be without Donovan Mitchell here which is a MASSIVE boost for Conley. When Mitchell has been off the floor, Conley has a 24.1% USG rate this season. In each game Conley has played 30 minutes in, he’s given us 24.6 FDP or more and three of them he’s touched 29 FDP. Whether Mitchell is in or out, Conley’s in the best game total on the board and is simply too cheap.

Georges Niang vs. DET ($3,700)

The 76ers are decimated by injuries and with Tobias Harris and Danny Green out, Niang is playing a pivotal role for them. He’s topped 30 minutes in each of the last two games and has scored 18 and 21 actual points while pouring in 26.1 and 36.5 FDP. Niang has stood out with those guys off the floor this year, notching a 21.9% USG while averaging 1.01 FP/min. The Pistons are 22nd in defense rating as a team and the 76ers have a very tasty match-up today.

Yahoo!

Matisse Thybulle vs. DET ($11)

We love Thybulle on sites like Yahoo! and DraftKings because of their defensive numbers and the fact they get three points for blocks and steals over there. If you played Thybulle on Wednesday he gave you three steals and two blocks and 29.3 FP at $11. Well, here we are again on Thursday and he’s $11. He started and played 38 minutes, which gives him massive upside. He’s had three steals or more in four straight games, has had at least one in every game this year and has had two or more blocks in four of six. Everything else is just gravy, but there’s no reason to think he wouldn’t play big minutes again on Thursday.

De'Andre Hunter vs. UTA ($10)

It’s been a disappointing start for Hunter this year, but he put it altogether on Wednesday going 10-of-11 from the field while hitting all six of his three-point attempts, good for 26 actual and 30 FP. The peripheral stats have been down for Hunter too, so we’re really relying on the scoring, but he’s failed to score in double-figures just once this season. This game has the biggest total in Vegas and Hunter is the stone cold minimum on Yahoo!
