The homestretch for the LPL starts on Monday with week 7 starting up. This is a slower slate with only one current playoff team playing and one team outside the bubble looking in. For Rare Atom, as a playoff team, you have to be able to put away an organization like Team WE quickly if you think you can make a deep playoff run. For IG, You don’t have a series left to drop if you want to make it to the dance. In this shorter slate, I am going to highlight some must-have picks as well as two sneaky value picks. Let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Favorite: Wink (IG: $11,400/$7,600) This may be the sole person dragging this IG roster to the playoffs. He is currently averaging 111.3 FPPG and is the only IG player who seems to be having consistent performances strung together. In his last series he has 22 kills, 16 assists, to only 8 deaths. It is one series, but LGD also happens to be a pretty weak squad in terms of finding and holding onto leads.

Favorite: Strive (RA: $10,800/$7,200) Some risk associated with this pick is that WE’s new mid laner (xiye) had a pretty good performance in his first series replacing the underperforming Shanks. Strive has an adequate KDA (4.7) and decent assists (133). Rare Atom is currently the only playoff team on the slate and there should be no reason why they struggle with Team WE on Monday.

Favorite: Rare Atom (JDG: $5,200) It may be worth making sure you grab the team most likely to 2-0 on the slate, even if that means you cannot maximize four position players elsewhere from RA on your lineup. They have a 10 point higher FPPG average than the next highest and 21 points higher than their opponent. Flexing in players from cheaper teams can still yield decent points but the possible under 30 minute win bonus points.

Value Pick: Eric ($10,500/$7,000) There is a bit of an undervaluing of Eric in this spot because of how well the IG bottom lane played in their last series. Eric has a 66.5 FPPG average and should be able to cross the 100 kill threshold this match. I would expect this to be a relatively ugly scrappy match, which could lend itself to giving Eric enough opportunities to drop big-point performances.

Value Pick: Shadow (LGD: $6,600) Since his departure from the LEC, Shad0w has been able to fly under the radar for the most part. He has had a decent showing in the LPL thus far and is averaging the highest FPPG among junglers on the slate with a 61.4. LGD can take this series from IG, so thinking that LGD’s main shot caller and playmaker could pick up good points is not a crazy thought.
