A few upsets on Friday has set up the European Championship for a wild finish. Fnatic has moved into a shared position for first with their win and the loss by Rogue on Friday. The MAD Lions have kept their playoff hopes alive after their surprising win over Team Vitality on Friday but they will need some more help to sneak into the playoffs. Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Unf0rgiven (MAD: $11,400) On Friday Unf0rgiv en had one of the best performances we have seen this split. He went 10-1-10 into a stacked VIT squad. MAD seemed to be stepping it up yesterday and for good reason, they are running out of time. Their backs are against the wall and have to run the table to have a chance to get into the playoffs. The young MAD ADC is the carry for the team in the late game and is the reason for his 65 kills and his 34% team kill share percentage.

Value Pick: Caps (G2: $9,900)

Top

Favorite: Odoamne (RGE: $6,800) I have faded Odoamne in the past because he doesn’t drop huge kill numbers but I think his value comes in the simplicity in which he plays the game. He is consistent and is the leader among LEC top laners in assists (85) as well as KDA (7.1). This should be a lock up game for Rogue, but then again it is the LEC. This pick still isn’t the worst though when Rogue loses because it is a rarity to see Odoamne have performances where he has an abysmal KDA.

Value Pick: BrokenBlade (G2: $6,000)

Jungle

Favorite: Markoon (XL: $7,000) There has been a lot of attention on Patrik and Nukeduck during the impressive run by XL in Spring. I think there is even a lot of credit given to Mikyx and the energy he has brought as well but I think Markoon has changed the way XL has played the early game. Especially in the second half of Spring Split, we have seen the XL squad have far more agency as compared to frequently being the team having to respond to events in game. The XL jungler is looking for ganks rather than responding to them. Markoon is securing vision around objectives rather than trying to force your way into an enemy controlled zone. This is why we see the uptick in his individual metrics of 41 kills and 95 assists in Spring.

Value Pick: Zanzarah (AST: $5,800)

Mid

Favorite: Larssen (RGE: $7,800) I think Vetheo will end up getting the MVP for the LEC in Spring because of how much he has carried his team. That being said, I think real consideration should be given to the Rogue mid laner. He has the most assists among mid laners (103) and has the second most kills (61). He thrives when both laners are put onto standard mid lane picks and he is able to get his hands on a control mage. Larssen knows how to play out fights and his knowledge of mid lane matchups gives him a major advantage against the younger mid laners in the LEC.

Value Pick: Vetheo (MSF: $6,800)

ADC

Favorite: Patrik (XL: $7,800) I feel like Patrik either gets hard focused (or targeted heavily) by the enemy team or he gets ignored and drops 8 kills. There really feels like there is no inbetween. His opponent (SK Gaming) are coming off a huge win against Rogue on Friday. This is a dangerous place to be because we regularly see teams come back to earth pretty quickly after picking up statement wins in the LEC. This may create the opportunity for Patrik and Mikyx to take advantage of the Jezu/Treatz bottom lane.

Value Pick: Flakked (G2: $6,600)

Support

Favorite: Kaiser (MAD: $5,200) People have forgotten about Kaiser and the raw skill he has at the game. Mechanically, he is one of the most gifted players in the LEC and his in game decision making is second to no one. He played Alistar on Friday (who is one of the weakest in the game right now) and he had an 11 KDA with 20 total assists. MAD gets a little bit of a reprieve in terms of a macro challenge with their match against Astralis on Saturday, but the AST squad loves to fight. Look for Kaiser to have another big performance because of that.

Value Pick: Hylissang (FNC: $5,400)

Team

Favorite: Rogue ($5,800) Rogue has consistently performed well in their bounceback games after a loss. There are some real questions to be asked of this team but you should feel pretty confident about their chances against BDS. BDS has a wild playstyle in the early game that more stable teams can weather. If you can survive early games from teams like that, you can overpower them because they normally run out of gas. This is how we will see Rogue play this game out.

Value Pick: Misfits ($4,400)
