European super week is here! Week 8 will have three games for each team and the bubble teams of the MAD Lions and SK Gaming will need a lot to break into the playoff bound group of teams. Atop the table, Rogue sits at 12-3 but both Fnatic (11-4) and Misfits (10-5) have mathematical chances to secure the top spot depending on how the games play out. So with action all weekend, let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: Vetheo (MSF: $12,000) As time goes on, I think it is becoming more and more clear that Vetheo should be the LEC’s MVP for this spring split. He is the league-leader in kills (75) and a 7.4 KDA. There is literally no mid-laner in the league that I would put in a one on one situation and bet on over Vetheo. Astralis is a scrappy team who likes to fight, which is an area that Vetheo shines. When teams play passively against him, they limit his ability to make plays. When they are aggressive, Vetheo eats.

Value Pick:  SelfMade (VIT: $9,900)

Top

Favorite: BrokenBlade (G2: $6,800) I love BB and I think that G2’s recent success is them playing more for their top half of the map. Putting more responsibility on BrokenBlade to carry the early game has allowed for Caps to play with more agency. XL’s top laner (Finn) has played better since returning to the LEC, but BB’s aggression could cause a mismatch where we see one of Finn’s classic 3+ death performances. This kill leader among LEC top laners (54 kills) is poised to have a big showing.

Value Pick: Alphari (VIT: $6,200)

Jungle

Favorite: Malrang (RGE: $7,000) Malrang has one of the highest KDA numbers (4.1) among LEC junglers, and has brought a new energy to Rogue. He plays with agency and I love how RGE make him a priority in the draft. He has a 66% team kill participation, which isn’t the highest, but he does make the most of his aggression. He pulls off a high percentage of ganks, and I think that will add a lot of value to your lineup.

Value Pick: Macaron (XL: $6,000)

Mid

Favorite: Larssen (RGE: $7,600) The second half to the Rogue puzzle is Larssen. Larssen has to be in the top five greatest mid-laners in LEC history. He is the second highest producer in the mid-lane behind Vetheo. He is squaring off against Sertuss from SK Gaming. Sertuss has had some decent performances, but has been limited in his production when teams push him off of his safety blanket pick of Ryze. RGE can win this game for Larssen in draft, which makes the heavy price tag feel less risk.

Value Pick: Caps (G2: $7,200)

ADC

Favorite: Upset (FNC: $7,800) The pace in which Upset has been picking up kills has slowed down with him sitting at 57, but has one of the highest KDAs in the entire league with 16.6. He limits his mistakes and deaths (8) and has one of the better assist numbers among LEC ADCs with 76 in 14 games. I love betting against xMatty, and that is who Upset gets to lane against today. Should be huge numbers for FNC on Friday.

Value Pick: Patrik (XL: $7,000)

Support

Favorite: Trymbi (RGE: $6,200) Trymbi is one of only two supports (Mykix is the other) is averaging over 20 FPPG in the LEC. Why pick the more expensive option? Rogue is facing one of the worst bottom lanes in the league of Jezu and Treatz. Trymbi and Comp should have a comfortable laning phase which should allow the league leader in assists (150) to tack on more numbers to his already solid stat line this Spring.

Value Pick: Mikyx (XL: $5,000)

Team

Favorite: Fnatic ($5,800) Team BDS, Fnatic’s opponent, can have explosive early games but they have terrible late game decision making. FNC thrives in these moments through the veteran experience across their lineup. They do a great job controlling the map and setting up for dragons and barons which means big points for you.

Value Pick: Team Vitality ($5,200)
