Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that Carson was "gassed" from playing snaps on special teams in Monday's 24-17 loss to the Bears, which contributed to the running back seeing less work on offense than Rashaad Penny, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

Carson gained 24 yards on six carries and failed to corral his lone target in the first half, then didn't see any touches in the second half while Carroll leaned more on Penny. Fortunately for Carson, Penny only produced 30 yards on 10 carries on the night, but the distribution of the workload doesn't offer much credibility to Carroll's previous claim that Carson is viewed as the team's lead back. With a matchup against a tough Dallas front seven awaiting the Seahawks in Week 3, it will be difficult to count on either back to generate much meaningful fantasy production.

The Eagles signed Adams off their practice squad Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

An undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame, Adams made a strong case for a roster spot in the preseason after gathering 90 yards on 23 carries, but the Eagles' ample backfield depth resulted in him falling on the wrong side of the cut. After going unclaimed off waivers, Adams earned a spot on the Eagles' practice squad, and will now make his way to the active roster with Darren Sproles (hamstring) uncertain to be ready for the team's Week 3 matchup with the Colts. Even if Adams is able to avoid the inactive list in Week 3, he'll likely have a tough time finding snaps on offense behind Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement.

Mack recorded a sack, a forced fumble and five tackles in Chicago's victory over the Seahawks.

Mack is still playing limited snaps as he works his way back into top shape after holding out the entire preseason. Regardless of playing time, he's been an IDP force in his two games with the Bears. On his biggest play of the game, he sacked Russell Wilson and stripped the ball loose, although it was recovered by Seattle. He'll have a chance to be the top IDP performer this year.

Parkey converted one field goal and three extra point attempts in Monday's victory over the Seahawks.

For the second week in a row, Parkey was on the field four times, but in Week 1, three of his attempts were field goals. The difference this week was that the Bears finished three drives with touchdows, resulting in a six-point effort for the kicker. Although the Bears are unlikely to be a high-powered offense this year, there should be enough field-goal attempts to make him a borderline fantasy starter.

A. Brown - WR

Brown wasn't present for the Steelers' team meeting and film review Monday, though it's unclear if his absence was excused or not, Ed Bouchette and Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report.

According to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network, head coach Mike Tomlin will address the media Tuesday at noon EDT, at which point the reason behind Brown's absence could be addressed. So long as Brown is present when the team reconvenes Wednesday, his status for the Week 3 game in Tampa Bay probably won't be much of a question. Even so, Brown's lack of attendance Monday may be more noteworthy than usual in light of a post made the same day on his personal Twitter account. In response to a comment, Brown suggested the Steelers should "trade" him to find out how valuable he is to the team, though it's unclear if he was actually making a serious request.

Bellamy caught one pass for six yards in Monday's victory over the Seahawks.

Although Bellamy's played in both games, this was the first target he's seen. Unless the Bears suffer injuries at wide receiver, it's hard to envision a scenario where he has consistent weekly production.

Miller caught two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown in Monday's victory over the Seahawks.

For the second game in a row, he's received just three targets, making him a clear fifth option in the passing attack behind Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, Trey Burton and Jordan Howard. Aside from the touchdown, he's yet to reach 15 yards in either game, and unless he gets increased target volume, he'll be a shaky fantasy option.

T. Gabriel - WR

Gabriel caught four passes for 30 yards while adding another 17 yards on three rushing attempts in Monday's win over the Seahawks.

For a player who was largely thought to be a deep threat going into the season, it's becoming clear that the coaching staff simply wants to get the ball in his hands on short passes and runs to let him try to make plays with his speed. However, on his 12 touches this season, he's averaging just six yards, and although fantasy owners can't complain about the usage, the fact he's not being put in position to catch deep passes takes away much of his fantasy appeal. If this type of usage continues, he'll have more value in PPR leagues than in standard scoring.
