2023 Player Outlook

2023 Recap: Just like with most Braves’ hitters, it was a big 2023 season for Ozuna. It was the third-best average (.274) over a full season of his career while it was a career-high in home runs and second-best mark in R and RBI. The gains can be attributed to his career-bests in EV (91.8) and Hard-Hit rate (49.0) as well as Brl% (16.6). While he’s not on the field much, if ever anymore, his bat brought more than enough value.

2024 Outlook: Getting Ozuna off the field defensively may have helped him in the batter’s box. Does that mean that change carries over to 2024? Coming off one of the best years of his career we can expect regression but he’s still looking to be in line for a good year. A .260 AVG with 30 or so home runs and a bevy of run production should come too in the loaded Atlanta offense. The only real hang up depends on your league rules and whether he counts as simply a UT or OF eligible player.
