Jay Ajayi ran for 200+ yards… again. He is now the fourth back to ever go 200 in back-to-back games joining O.J. Simpson, Earl Campbell and Ricky Williams. Ajayi had 304 rushing yards and three scores his first 13 NFL games. He has run for 418 yards and three scores his last two games. Some audio that include my thoughts on Ajayi.

Tavon Austin saw 15 targets, catching 10 of them, and produced… 57 yards. How is that even possible? He also fumbled twice, though both were recovered, and he let a ball slip right through his hands that went for a pick-6. Austin scored, but really, he’s a bad fantasy football player. He has one game with 60 receiving yards and just two scores through seven games. #AWaste

Doug Baldwin scored 14 times last season. You were warned. He’s failed to score his last three games and has just two touchdowns over the course of six games this season. He is averaging five more yards a game than last season and is on pace for 91 catches a year after hauling in 78, so at least there is that.

Odell Beckham Jr. caught five balls for 49 yards. In three of his last four games ODB has been held to less than 60 receiving yards. He’s scored three times this season, but all three scores came in two games giving him five scoreless outings.

LeGarrette Blount had multiple outings this season with 100 rushing yards and two scores (he went 24-127-2 in Week 7). Only four other Patriots have ever done that. Blount has run for eight sores this season and has scored in all but one outing.

Check out how good Joey Bosa has been.

Sam Bradford entered Week 7 with no interceptions. He threw an interception against the Eagles and lost two fumbles as he was sacked six times and hit 12 times. His o-line did nothing to help.

Don’t tell Drew Brees and Brandin Cooks stink on the road. Mere days after I wrote Is Perception Reality, they both came through against the Chiefs in Kansas City. Brees threw for 367 yards and three scores while Cooks caught seven balls for 58 yards and a score. #YourStorylineIsIncorrect

Jamison Crowder had 10 targets the last three games heading into Week 7. He went out against the Lions and caught 7-of-9 targets for 109 yards. He has more success when Jordan Reed is down.

Stefon Diggs returned from his hamstring injury to catch two passes for 18 yards (five targets). Diggs went for 285 yards his first two game but in his next three outings he’s hasn’t gotten to 50 once. He did the same thing last season, starting hot before disappearing. Give him a mulligan this week cause of his healthy, but understand that talk of him “breaking out” this season was greatly exaggerated.

Julian Edelman hasn’t scored in eight games. At least he caught nine passes for 60-yards in Week 7 doing something, at least in PPR setups.

Tyler Eifert caught one pass for nine yards as he was on the field for just 15 snaps in his first game of the season. Over his last 16 games he’s scored a robust 13 times, but other than the touchdowns he’s been no different than Charles Clay or Jacob Tamme types. In his last 16 games Eifert has 53 receptions for 624 yards. Yippee.

Zach Ertz caught one pass for nine yards in Week 7. In three games since he returned he hasn’t seen more than three targets in any game. He’s simply not part of the Carson Wentz led offense. #PocketLintHasMoreValue

Joe Flacco threw another 44 passes in Week 7, the 6th straight time he has thrown the ball at least 40-times. For the third time in five games he failed to score, and over his last five games he has two touchdown passes. That is woefully unproductive, and quite frankly, shameful.

Justin Forsett was doubled in the snap count out of the Lions backfield by Zach Zenner, 32 to 16. Oddly, Forsett out-touched his younger compatriot 10-to-9 and produced more yards as well (48 to 29). Of course, it was Zenner who scored a touchdown.

A.J. Green caught all eight of his targets for 169 yards. His touchdown, a 48-yarder, literally was between four men. He has nine games with 150/1, third most in history (Lance Alworth 13, Jerry Rice 11 and Randy Moss 10). #Remarkable

T.Y. Hilton saw 12 more targets in Week 7. He’s hit double-digits all but one game with nine last week. He’s also scored four times his last five games and has ripped off at least 133 yards and a score in 3-of-5 games.

Marvin Jones caught 4-of-5 targets for 94 yards including a great grab on a 52 yarder. He’s a weekly WR2, especially with four scores in five games, but it would be nice if was seeing more looks. He hasn’t had more than eight targets in five games and he’s been at five, six and five the last three games.

Colin Kaepernick is bad at football. #ThereISaidIt

Travis Kelce… three games in a row under 33 yards. He’s also scored twice in six games. Same old Kelce because of that offense with the Chiefs.

Brandon LaFell has four scores in three games. He’s only caught six of 10 targets the last two week though and he’s been under 70-yards in 4-of-6 games.

Marqise Lee is the most trusted option in the Jaguars offense right now. I know, it’s shocking to contemplate. The slot receiver caught seven balls for 107 yards in Week 7 and he’s gone for 13 receptions and 168 yards the last two contests. Over his last five games he’s averaged 5.4 receptions and 63 yards… though he hasn’t scored. #WhoSawThisComing

Latavius Murray returned from turf toe to score twice. It’s all good. Or is it? Murray did touch the ball 20 times, which is great considering how shared that backfield has been in Oakland, but with an average of 3.3 YPC in the game is Murray really “back”? #DontTrustHim

Cordarrelle Patterson has six targets in 3-straight games. He’s also scored in two straight. Personally, this scribe really doesn’t care, but it is good to see him finally find some footing. #Finally

Jacquizz Rodgers ran 26 times for 154 yards against the awful Niners. He saw 51 snaps to 18 for Peyton Barber who carried the ball 12 times for 84 yards and a score. Rodgers has carried the ball 56 times for 255 yards the last two times he’s been on the field, tremendous work. He’s still failed to score a touchdown. #AmazingWorkload

Matt Ryan has thrown for 200-yards in 46-straight starts. That’s an NFL record. He went for 273 and one score against the Chargers.

Willie Snead caught nine balls for 87 yards Sunday. He had averaged 41.3 yards the last three games. #Improvement

Michael Thomas has led the Saints in targets in 3-of-4 games. He has scored or gone for 130-yards in 4-straight games. He’s also gone for at least 71 yards in ¾ outings.

Check out Spencer Ware's yards from scrimmage totals per game: 199, 105, 83, 96, 163 and 121. That’s an average of 127.8 yards a game. #LookAtHimGo

Carson Wentz turned the ball over three times in Week 7 and it could have been worse (he lost just one of three fumbles). His last two games: one touchdown, two picks and under 180 passing yards both times. #OverratedInFantasy

Ty Williams saw double-digit targets for the first time in Week 7, the first time that has happened in his career. He caught seven balls for 140 yards for the Chargers. Through seven games his average outing is 4.43 catches and 75.1 yards. Do that over 16 games and you produce 71 receptions and 1,202 yards. That will play for a waiver-wire find.
