The long cold slumber is over.
It’s time.
Right now.
Do it.
You know you want to.
Of course I’m talking about picking up your copy of the 2016 MLB Fantasy Alarm Draft Guide.
I’m biased, but I think we’ve got a winner on our hands.
Here are some highlights.
1 – There are nearly 200 pages of articles in the PDF which you can download upon purchase. The Guide looks stellar, in my professional opinion, and includes the substance you need to dominate the competition.
2 – There will be 15 player profiles in video form. How could you possibly get tired of seeing my handsome face speaking the truth?
3 – The Rankings are the heart of the Guide. Here’s how that works.
There are more than 600 players ranked.
They are ranked for 10-team, 12-team and 15-team leagues.
The rankings cover mixed leagues, AL-only leagues and NL-only leagues.
There are auction values for $10, $12 and $15 team leagues.
- The Rankings will be updated DAILY until the regular season begins.
- Once the season begins, the Rankings will be updated on the first of each month for the rest of the season.
4 – We have 30 Proven Strategies from the experts.
How do you handle the early and late rounds of a draft?
How do you prepare for an auction draft?
When do you draft starting pitchers and closers?
How to you work the waiver-wire in season?
What numbers do you need to know? BABIP, xFIP, Swinging Strike ratios etc.
What numbers should you target for hitters?
What numbers should you target for pitchers?
Why are you missing out if you aren’t using the tiering model?
Just a sampling of what is in the Guide.
5 – We have case studies up the wahzoo (a scientific term).
Which splits with players should you focus on and avoid?
How do you handle closers?
What measures are better than ERA to judge pitcher’s performance?
Is it time to replace Saves and Wins?
How do you handle points leagues and H2H setups?
Which players are the next fantasy stars.
HOW DO YOU GET THE GUIDE?
A couple of fantastic options for you.
1 – You can get the Guide for FREE. If you haven’t yet signed up with Fanduel or DraftKings all you need to do it click on the “Get it FREE” tab to pick up the Guide at no cost.
2 – If you have signed up for FD and DK then you can pick up your own copy of the Guide for $19.99. Totally worth it.
3 – The third, and most complete play, is to sign up for the Draft Guide and the Assistant GM package. For an additional $10, a total of $29.99, you get the Draft Guide AND our in-season Assistant GM package. The AGM package includes a member’s only Monday-Friday email from me filled with all my musings and thoughts. You can only access this info if you have the AGM package. The AGM deal also includes premium in-season content, i.e. premium articles. The AGM package gives you access to all our season long Fantasy Alarm fantasy baseball data.
4 - Note there is no magazine this year. The process just takes too long. It looks like this. The mag is written by December 30th. It's at least a month before the magazine gets to the stores. So much can change in that time. What if you don't pick up the mag until March 1st? The data in there is more than two full months old at that point. The online version is updated daily and gives you the best chance to enter a draft with accurate data. You can still print out the PDF this year which looks exactly the same as our mag would have. Also, the PDF is longer cause of no page count limits so there is more data, roughly 50 full pages worth, than we would have been limited to in a magazine.
So there it is.
The 2016 Fantasy Alarm Draft Guide is available. Get a copy. Read it. Then go out and dominate the suckers in your league who weren’t smart enough to pick up a copy.
Best of luck this season all.
