Linus Ullmark allowed two goals on 21 shots in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Washington Capitals.
Carter Hutton didn't look great in last night's game against the Caps, so the Sabres went with Ullmark tonight. Buffalo got enough offense to win yesterday, but they didn't get enough saves. Tonight, they got enough saves, but they couldn't solve Capitals rookie goaltender Vitek Vanecek more than once. Ullmark has a legitimate shot at becoming Buffalo's starting goaltender this season, but it's way more likely that he and Hutton will split the workload. Yesterday 11:11 pm (EST)
