2025 Fantasy Football Week 11 IDP Report: Risers, Waiver Wire & Matchups
It was an amazing week for IDPs and defenses in general. Sacks, low scores, big time turnovers, and special team touchdowns! In November, the NFL switches from an offensive league to a defensive league. Hence why defense wins championships, 10 weeks of tape is now available, and defenses have adjusted to beat opposing offenses in their own game. Let’s take a look back at how good last week really was.
- Danielle Hunter, Defensive Line, Houston Texans: 5 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 4 QB hits, 3.5 Sacks, 1 forced fumble
- Jalon Walker, Defensive Lineman/Linebacker, Atlanta Falcons: 4 solo tackles, 2 assisted tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery
- Talanoa Hufanga, Defensive Back, Denver Broncos: 5 solo tackles, 4 assisted tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 QB Hit, 1.0 Sack
Weekly Grade: A+. Without question, the best week for the Fantasy Alarm IDP Report. An absolute smash with some of the highest scoring IDPs of the week. 5.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 22 combined tackles. Full IDP rosters didn’t score that much, heck, some PPR offensive rosters didn’t score that much!
The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints are on bye this week. Get players from those teams out of your lineup.
Fantasy Football IDP Risers Week 11
Zach Harrison came back from injury last week and had a great game. He is a defensive lineman for the Atlanta Falcons, who have a great defense. Harrison is available in most leagues due to being out the previous weeks. He earned 5 combined tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 1 QB hit, 1.0 sack, and 1 forced fumble. He should be owned going forward.
Bradley Chubb is expected to deliver more with Jaelan Phillips traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Miami Dolphins upset the Buffalo Bills last week, and Chubb was part of the reason. He had 4 QB hits, 3 combined tackles, and 1.0 sack. The Dolphins play the Washington Commanders this week, and Chubb will be up against a terrible offensive line. Keep an eye on this riser.
Nick Emmanwori is a defensive back for the Seattle Seahawks, and he busted out in week 10. The rookie only played 4 defensive snaps through the first four weeks of the season. However, he logged 9 combined tackles, 4 passes defended, 1 QB Hit, and 0.5 sacks last week. He has started the last three games, and plays against a divisional opponent this week. Then against rookie quarterback Cam Ward in week 12. Emmanwori has great opportunities ahead and should be rostered in a fantasy football league with IDP.
Fantasy Football Week 11 IDP Waiver Wire Targets
Jaelan Phillips, Defensive Line/Linebacker, Philadelphia Eagles
Phillips looked amazing on his new team. It was a seamless fit for an edge pressure specialist and Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio. The two worked together in 2023, and Fangio knew the young man’s talent. He earned 6 combined tackles, 2 QB hits, 1 tackle for loss, and 1 fumble recovery in his Philadelphia Eagles debut on Monday night football.
Phillips was not very productive with Miami this season and recorded just under 25% of his tackle total in his first game with Philadelphia. He will have multiple week 11 FAAB bids in for him, so spend $1 more than usual for an IDP past his bye week.
Nick Bolton, Linebacker, Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs were on bye last week, and Bolton is on the waiver wire due to it. He has 75 combined tackles this season, as well as passes defended and a forced fumble. He is a “set and forget” IDP for fantasy football managers.
Scoop him up off the waiver wire, and do not hesitate to spend up on him. Run-stopping linebackers are gold from mid-November through the Super Bowl. Bolton is an elite linebacker, and the Chiefs will need him to play well to climb back into the playoff picture. Put a waiver bid on Bolton for week 11 and beyond.
Ronnie Harrison, Defensive Back, Atlanta Falcons
Another Atlanta Falcons player makes the week 11 IDP report, and this time it’s a defensive back. Jessie Bates had a game to silence the doubters, but Ronnie Harrison also played well. The veteran had his best game of the season. More than doubling his tackle total, while also logging 1 tackle for loss, 1 QB hit, and 1.0 sack.
The Falcons play the Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and New York Jets. Two divisional opponents and three games against bad or young quarterbacks. Look for Harrison to fill fantasy football bye week voids and have a great November.
NFL Week 11 IDP Matchups To Capitalize On
New York Jets vs New England Patriots Thursday 8:15 PM ET
- Isaiah Oliver, Defensive Back, New York Jets
The expectation is that the New England Patriots will control this match both offensively and defensively. Expect a huge time of possession difference between the two teams, and for the Patriots to sustain long drives. Particularly in the second half. That is why Isaiah Oliver is the Thursday night IDP to play.
Oliver is a defensive back for the New York Jets, and the Jets just traded what was their best cornerback, Sauce Gardner, to the Indianapolis Colts. Oliver is listed as a safety and played 21 snaps in the box last week. However, he also played 19 snaps at free safety, 10 more than he had combined total coming into the week. Look for Oliver to be heavily involved against the Patriots Thursday night and going forward.
Washington Commanders vs Miami Dolphins Sunday 9:30 AM ET
- Tyrel Dodson, Linebacker, Miami Dolphins
The first NFL football game in Spain, and Fantasy Alarm would not miss the opportunity to put down not one, but two IDPs. Honestly, this game could have been in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and Dodson would have been the play. He has been playing lights out and has an opportunity to have a big play against Marcus Mariota and the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders have a terrible offensive line, and Miami can exploit it for their benefit in Madrid. Dodson has 18 combined tackles over the past two weeks, and that pace should continue in Spain. However, he hasn’t had a big play since week 8 against Atlanta. Look for Miami to keep their momentum going after beating their rival last week. Play Dodson across all IDP fantasy football formats.
San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals Sunday 4:25 PM ET
- Calais Campbell, Defensive Tackle, Arizona
The Arizona Cardinals have a new air about them. The emotion and joy seen on the sidelines during their game against the Dallas Cowboys were evident. Winning has a way of doing that, and so does great play from a backup quarterback. Jacoby Brissett has become the starter, but another veteran on defense leads the way for the Cardinals.
Campbell has recorded 7 combined tackles, 3 QB hits, 3 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks over the past two weeks. This week, the Cardinals are up against divisional opponent, the San Francisco 49ers. A team they lost to by one point in week 3. Campbell earned 3 QB hits and 1 tackle in that match, not bad for a defensive tackle. With a better offense, he will earn more than that in week 11, and possibly earn his sixth sack of the season. Play Campbell with confidence, and expect the 18-year veteran to deliver once again.
