Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - 6/27
The top tier of Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers to consider employing in your fantasy baseball rotations in the upcoming Week 15 action contains some new members, notably Brandon Sproat of the Brewers and Shane Baz from Baltimore. There are a number of returning aces, as well, and the middle tier this week has more to choose from, too. Plenty of names adorning the second half discussion concerning the Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters to pick amongst for your pitching assistance in the approaching scoring period.
Please realize that these articles feature the most recent rotation information available at the time they are written, but circumstances can change due to weather conditions, injuries, and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies, but this article is meant to provide analysis; it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.
Without further ado, here are this week’s two start pitchers:

Lauer opened this scoring period by blanking the host Twins over 6.0 IP, picking up both the win and a quality start (QS) with that shutout effort. He only racked up a pair of Ks, and did walk three Minnesota hitters but did not give up a hit during his stint on the bump Monday. The limited strikeouts were no surprise, given his well below-average K rate on the season overall (5.8 K/9 over his 64.2 IP this season with both Toronto and LA. Since joining the Dodger rotation, he has been superb: 2.54 ERA, 0.92 WHIP over five starts (28.1 IP). He has two excellent matchups, facing the Athletics at their home park where they have problems finding victories, and then against the visiting Padre outfit, who has struggled to demonstrate any real offense this year, ranking next to last in BA and 2nd to last in runs scored in 2026 thus far.
Chandler collected a victory, his third of the season, by limiting the visiting Mariners to a single earned run over 5.1 IP. His previous start saw him post his second QS of the season, and he did so while on the mound at Coors Field, to boot. He only collected one K against the Rockies, while waking three hitters and plunking a couple more, not doing anything to reduce his inflated WHIP (1.40 on the season over his 79.1 IP in 2026). The Pirates are devoted to letting the rookie show what he has as a hurler, so he will continue to see a regular turn in the rotation. He does have to pitch away from PNC Park for both his Week 15 starts, playing to his stronger side of his 2026 home/road splits.
Rookie right-hander Yesavage has posted some attractive ratios over his 11 starts for the Blue Jays this season: 3.56 ERA, 1.17 WHIP over his 60.2 IP. He strikes out nearly a batter per frame (8.6 K/9 for 58 Ks over his 11 starts this year). The two upcoming contests are not superior matchups, but the first against the visiting Mets squad is favorable on its face. Heading to Seattle might pose a bit more of a test for the youngster, as he looks to build on his recent QS against the host Red Sox team.
Weathers collected his third victory on the year against the host Tigers, holding Detroit to two earned tallies on six hits and a pair of free passes, while also gathering in six Ks. He has now dropped his ERA below 4.00 (3.96 to be precise) and sports an attractive 1.14 WHIP through his 86.2 IP. He has a pair of home games on the schedule for his Week 15 assignments, which is a positive factor for the 26-year-old southpaw. He will look to keep missing bats a good clip and demonstrating good control heading into the summer months.
Mikolas, the veteran righty, has been used as a bulk-reliever in a number of his appearances for the Nationals this season, and has been more effective in that role than as a traditional starter, truth be told. He has put together a adequate 4.04 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over those 49.0 IP. If he can be plugged into your fantasy lineups when he is not the designated starter, better results are likely to occur for his fantasy owners. Certainly, his control aids his efforts on the hill, as it is not for his ability to miss bats that he is joining your pitching staff: 2.1 BB/9 against a 5.2 K/9 through 74.0 IP in a starting/relief hybrid role.
Drohan’s time in the rotation for the Brewers was thought to be dependent on the status of injured starter Brandon Woodruff, yet he is still being handed the ball even with the veteran returning to action. The rookie southpaw has performed nicely in a swingman role for Milwaukee, compiling a 3.12 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in a dual relief/starting role through 52.0 IP this season. He has demonstrated both dominance and command while on the bump, with an 9.0 K/9 rate to go with a useful 2.8 BB/9 walk rate.

Still a large number of arms that it is recommended that you not plug into your starting lineups in Week 15. You do not need to take the risk of damage to your ratios while not reaping exceptional benefits in terms of accumulating counting stats for your team(s). Let someone else take a chance of finding an occasional gem among the dross.
Potential Streaming Options for Week 15
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters candidates:
Tuesday, June 30, 2026
Sean Manaea, New York Mets @ Toronto Blue Jays
The veteran southpaw has posted excellent numbers, albeit in limited action over his last two appearances, putting up a 3.18 ERA and 0.97 WHIP over 11.1 IP. He also collected a total of 11 Ks over that stretch of innings. His streaming potential is based on recent performance, together with the fact that he has been more effective when pitching on the road this season, as he will be in this game.
Wednesday, July 1, 2026
Martin Perez, Atlanta Braves vs. St. Louis Cardinals
The veteran lefty’s fourth consecutive victory also qualified as a QS, his first such result since mid-April. He has been delivering tasty ratio numbers for his owners all season, currently showing an ERA of 2.78 and a 1.07 WHIP. His efforts on the hill at Truist Park have also been exceptional this season, and thus, he makes for a fine add to your fantasy rotation for this contest.
Tatsuya Imai, Houston Astros vs. Minnesota Twins
The first-year Houston SP now has collected 21 Ks over the course of his last two starts. That, in and of itself, lends him to becoming a valuable streaming option. He is also demonstrating much improved control recently, having handed out just a single free pass over his last 12.0 IP covering his most recent two trips to the hill. He does carry an unattractively bloated ERA with him, but his FIP and xFIP indicate he may have been simply unlucky and his ratios are due for positive adjustment. You've gotta love the K rate, too.
Griffin Jax, Tampa Bay Rays @ Kansas City Royals
Since the beginning of May, the righty has posted a stellar ERA of 2.53 with a useful 1.22 WHIP, and demonstrates good K production (8.6 K/9 over 42.2 IP) together with serviceable control of the strike zone (2.5 BB/9). He pitches better on the road, so this is a nice matchup to employ his services as a streaming SP, especially considering the opponent.
Keider Montero, Detroit Tigers @ New York Yankees
The third-year righty looks to be secured a role in the Tiger rotation for the meantime, with Justin Verlander still not ready to resume pitching for Detroit. He currently features a 3.68 ERA and excellent 1.00 WHIP over his 80.2 IP this season. His excellent control keeps him from getting into unnecessary trouble while working on the bump, since he is well below average in producing swings and misses with 1.9 BB/9, 5.9 K/9 rates over his 15 appearances (14 starts).
Andrew Alvarez, Washington Nationals @ Boston Red Sox
In his last four trips to the mound, the southpaw has failed to reach five innings of action each time out, but has also pitched with effectiveness over those shortened outings, producing an admirable 2.70 ERA. The WHIP is inflated due to an elevated walk rate and the propensity to hand out better than a hit per frame, currently sitting at 1.39 on the year. His home/road splits indicate that an away game is right up his alley.
Walker Buehler, San Diego Padres @ Chicago Cubs
The veteran righty has been enjoying his trips to toe the rubber in the month of June this season, going 1-0 over his last four outings, while compiling a superb 1.71 ERA. The WHIP is a tad unattractive at 1.33, due primarily to being hittable at better than a hit per frame. He has been a better pitcher at home this year, so that is a negative point to consider if his skillset demonstration on the hill of recent vintage is not sufficient to assuage your concerns about using him at Wrigley Park.
Thursday, July 2, 2026
Ian Seymour, Tampa Bay Rays @ Kansas City Royals
The 27-year-old southpaw hurler offers great strikeout potential when he is on the hill, even if there is most pedestrian production in most other areas of fantasy production. He has been used primarily out of the bullpen in 2026, but could be sticking in the rotation if he can continue to deliver acceptable effort s on the hill as a SP. It is not as though the Rays have an abundance of available arms to fill out the starting staff.
Slade Cecconi, Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox
In his four starts in the month of June so far, the right-hander has tossed five or more innings in each of those trips to the mound while allowing two or one earned run in each contest. He collected two QS in that stretch, too. A home start is a favorable matchup, especially with the struggles the surprising division-leading White Sox are experiencing away from the South Side.
Friday, July 3, 2026
Anthony Kay, Chicago White Sox @ Cleveland Guardians
Eight Ks, no runs allowed on just three hits and the southpaw gets rewarded with just a no-decision for his excellent efforts. The eight Ks were a season high but given his season-long production, do not expect him to provide such fantasy wealth again…it could happen, certainly, just not something to bank on. He does pitch for a team that demonstrates greater offensive firepower than the host opponent in this matchup.
Brady Singer, Cincinnati Reds vs. Baltimore Orioles
The 29-year-old right-hander held the visiting Brewer offense scoreless on two hits and two walks while racking up seven Ks in his last outing. He has been working diligently to reduce an bloated set of ratios over recent trips to the hill, with his ERA now sitting at a still swollen 4.81 and accompanied by an exaggerated 1.51 WHIP. The downward trend has been ongoing, however, and he gets a home start against the less-than- intimidating Baltimore team.
Jake Bennett, Boston Red Sox @ Los Angeles Angels
The rookie southpaw pitched well enough to collect his second victory of his short MLB career, but a blown save subjected him to a no-decision, which at least was not another loss. His last couple of starts have seen him post a stellar 1.59 ERA and 0.62 WHIP, while also notching 14 Ks over those 11.1 IP. He also did not hand out a single walk in those two starts, although he did hit one batter. He has been better when away from Fenway Park…in limited action to be sure, but this promises to be a favorable matchup considering the opponent’s record this season.
Saturday, July 4, 2026
Christian Scott, New York Mets @ Atlanta Braves
The second-year righty returns from the hip issue that landed him on the IL briefly, and despite his having allowed three homers in his final start before the IL stint, he has proven to be a capable SP for the Mets this season, posting a 3.10 ERA over his prior 40.2 IP, while accumulating 47 Ks over that period. He had been keeping the ball in the yard consistently prior to the game where the visiting Cards took him deep thrice, so until further evidence arises, we should consider that aberration a condition of his hip injury. He has been acting like a road warrior in his limited action this season, so a trip to Truist Park is not necessarily a reason to avoid using him as a streaming option here.
