Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers & Streaming Starters - 6/20
The season heads into the final full week of the sixth month of the year and there are a plethora of Fantasy Baseball 2026 Two-Start Pitchers to consider plugging into your fantasy baseball rotation. Unfortunately, a large number of them reside in the bottom tier, where the suggestion is that you avoid allowing them to accumulate any statistics for your fantasy squad(s). The upper group contains those arms that you should make certain to employ as you are able, since many are likely owned by either you or your league mates. Not so many in the middle tier, as seems to be the trend over the past several weeks, but then again, their usage does carry a certain amount of risk, thus their placement in the second group of dual start pitchers available for Week 14’s action.
There are several arms that you might want to consider for a spot start discussed in the second portion of this week’s report. These Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters should be available in many leagues to add to your roster to bolster your pitching as we enter into the summer season this coming week.
Please realize that these articles feature the most recent rotation information available at the time they are written, but circumstances can change due to weather conditions, injuries, and general craziness with managers. If a pitcher listed here as having two starts ends up with one (or perhaps none) in the upcoming week, apologies, but this article is meant to provide analysis; it is up to the manager to set the lineups or rotations.
Without further ado, here are this week’s two start pitchers:

A baker’s dozen of team aces to make certain to plop into your rotations this coming scoring period. The aces and top end starters in the top group should be used no matter what park they are straddling the slab in or which team is opposing them. These are your best options for fantasy goodness in terms of ratios and counting statistics that also have the benefit of toeing the rubber twice in Week 14.

| Mon 6/22 7:40 PM EDT | Sun 6/28 2:10 PM EDT |
Valdez found that a return to Houston was the tonic he needed to produce a quality start (QS), even though he was not able to collect a victory against his former club. He did rack up six Ks, a feat he had not accomplished since mid-May, and he did hand out three walks over the 6.0 IP he delivered while on the bump. He has two home starts on the calendar, but that is not necessarily cause for celebration given his home/road splits this season. He does get to face the Astro squad he handled so well in his most recent trip to toe the rubber at the end of the week.
Kay had suffered one misstep since the beginning of May, where he allowed the host Phillies to tag him for six earned runs over 4.0 IP. Remove that one game’s stats and he has provided a stellar 2.17 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in the other seven contests, where he has also accumulated five victories against no losses. Then came the mid-week contest at Yankee Stadium, where he was attacked early and forced out of the game after 4.0 IP. That outing gives some pause to using him for his two trips to the hill, but as is the case with the other middle tier SP profiled above, he has two home games on tap for his Week 14 appearances, playing decidedly into his strong points with regards to his home/road splits this season thus far.

Truly, a wealth of bottom tier hurlers to avoid slipping into your fantasy baseball rotations this coming scoring period. As if frequently cautioned, do not be swayed by the allure of their dual start status, as one or both of those trips to the mound could result in damage to your ratios while not doing a whole lot to pad your counting numbers. Instead of choosing one or more of these third tier SPs, instead cast your waiver wire eye toward those who are profiled immediately below in the Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters section of this week’s report.
Potential Streaming Options for Week 14
There is no promise that each game day will provide a streaming option. First of all, the pitcher must be available in at least 50% of leagues to be a viable candidate to snag off the wire. Then, the pitchers discussed above are not included as they have a different sort of value, even though some might be available as free agents in your league. Plus, some days the matchups and/or venues just do not figure as positive enough factors to favor plugging the arm into your rotation, even for one start. That all being said, here are this week’s best Fantasy Baseball 2026 Streaming Starters candidates:
Monday, June 22, 2026
Eric Lauer, Los Angeles Dodgers @ Minnesota Twins
Since joining the Dodgers, the veteran southpaw has pitched remarkably well, and looks to have settled in as a reliable part of the LA six-man rotation. In his most recent four trips to the hill, he has accumulated an attractive 3.22 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. He is a below average strikeout architect when operating on the mound, and he has a nasty tendency to allow the ball to find the outfield seats, both of which keep him from being a fully dependable SP. Even so, he has collected two quality starts (QS) over his four starts while wearing a Dodger uniform.

Sean Burke, Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Guardians
The 26-year-old righty’s control has deserted him in his last two time on the hill, handing out 10 walks over those 8.1 IP, although he has also racked up 13 Ks over that two-game stretch. His last outing pushed his ERA north of 4.00 again (4.15 currently) but he had not allowed more than three runs in his prior four contests. He strikes out nearly a batter per frame over the course of this season (8.9 K/9 over his 73.2 IP thus far in 2026), and he has a home game here, where his team is playing well above .500 this year…not that the opponent are having problems playing away from Cleveland.

Shane Drohan, Milwaukee Brewers @ Cincinnati Reds
The 27-year-old left-hander may not be long for the Milwaukee rotation, with Brandon Woodruff due to be activated from the IL soon, but for the nonce, he is worth considering as a streaming option. He currently has a useful set of ratio stats: 3.59 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. He also delivers strikeout production at better than a K per frame (9.3 K/9 over his 42.2 IP in 2026), while also demonstrating effective control as evidenced by his 2.3 BB/9 on the season. Use him as a streaming starter while he is a part of the Brewer rotation.
Martin Perez, Atlanta Braves @ San Diego Padres
10 of the veteran hurler’s appearances have been starts, and with Spencer Strider now on the IL, he looks to remain in the Atlanta rotation for the foreseeable future. Over his last four trips to toe the rubber, he has not allowed more than three earned runs, resulting in a admirable 3.00 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over those 21.0 IP. As with the Dodger SP profiled above, he is not an arm you would turn to if you were seeking strikeout production for your fantasy baseball team, but he does manage to keep the ball within the confines of whatever baseball park he is pitching in, as shown by his 0.9 HR/9 rate over his season-long 62.0 IP. Although it would be easier to recommend him for a streaming start were he pitching at Truist Park, he is not a disaster when plying his trade on the road, either.
Griffin Jax, Tampa Bay Rays vs. Kansas City Royals
Despite holding the opponent to a single unearned run in his last start, he took the loss in Anaheim as a result of his offense being unable to score against the Angels pitching contributors last Saturday. Only nine of his times toeing the rubber were in a starting role, and he is still being stretched out making the acquisition of victories to be difficult at present. He does offer an appealing 3.68 ERA over his 44.0 IP to date; the 1.38 WHIP needs work, to be honest. This is a good matchup given the struggles the Royals have had when taking the field away from Kauffman Stadium.
Sean Manaea, New York Mets vs. Chicago Cubs
It had been more than a whole season since the veteran southpaw had taken the mound going into the sixth inning. Despite the lengthy outing, he was saddled with a loss by the visiting Atlanta ballclub, although his start did qualify as a QS, his first of the season. He continues to offer excellent strikeout production, with his season K rate sitting at 9.4 K/9 over his 49.0 IP, although the bulk of those frames were accumulated in relief.
Thursday, June 25, 2026
Ian Seymour, Tampa Bay Rays vs. Kansas City Royals
Over his last couple of outings, the second-year southpaw has been sticking around on the mound significantly longer than he had during his numerous relief appearances this season, as would be expected now that he is being employed as a starter or bulk reliever. He is now scheduled to make starts for the Rays, and his ability to miss bats should play well in that role (9.6 K/9 over his 38.1 IP to date). This is a great matchup, given the opponent and his strong home park results.
Friday, June 26, 2026
Walker Buehler, San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
Over the course of his last seven appearances on the bump, the veteran righty has posted a smart set of ratio stats, namely a 2.92 ERA and 1.19 WHIP accumulated over the course of 37.0 IP. He has held the opposing hitters to two or fewer earned runs in each of his last four starts, making for a nice stretch to employ him as a streaming starter or if you believe he can keep up this level of production, as a nice waiver pickup to bolster a fantasy rotation heading into the summer months.
Andrew Alvarez, Washington Nationals @ Baltimore Orioles
The rookie southpaw is pitching effectively, albeit in a limited fashion as he has yet to pitch five innings in any of his appearances thus far. He is collecting better than a K per inning over his appearances, with 31 Ks to his credit over his 28.1 IP. He certainly needs to improve his control, as witnessed by his unwieldly 1.45 WHIP. To his credit, his peripheral metrics indicate that he could be in position to improve on his current useful stats, especially if he can continue to generate more than his fair share of groundballs while on the hill (55.1 GB%).
Saturday, June 27, 2026
Slade Cecconi, Cleveland Guardians vs. Seattle Mariners
The 26-year-old right-hander has been on a fine run, holding opponents to three or fewer earned runs over the last seven times he has climbed the hill for the Guardians, amassing a 3.16 ERA over those 37.0 IP. He was touched for better than a hit per inning during that stretch, accounting for an elevate 1.32 WHIP. He has been significantly more effective when pitching at Progressive Field, and the opponent here is playing slightly below .500 ball when on the road.
Mike Paredes, Minnesota Twins vs. Colorado Rockies
The rookie right-hander has been stretching himself out over his four starts in his inaugural MLB season, lasting one out short of qualifying for his first win in four starts against the host Rangers. Matchups do not get much better than this one, facing a team that struggles on the road (and, to be sure, at home as well) while climbing the hill in his own home park.
Sunday, June 28, 2026
Robert Gasser, Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs
The third-year southpaw is coming off a no-decision where he held the visiting Guardian offense scoreless on just two hits, coming within an out of being able to collect his first QS of the season. He has been inconsistent, however, over his five starts, allowing just three earned tallies in his positive starts, and yielding 10 earned runs in the other two. Over all those trips to the hill, however, he has been able to miss plenty of opponent’s bats, compiling a strikeout per inning through his 24.0 IP to date.
