Today's 7/11-game main slate has multiple different directions to go considering we have a game in Great American Ball Park with only one pitcher over 10K on DraftKings. FanDuel is including the four 6:40 games to make it an 11 gamer and there are FIVE pitchers over $10K. This MLB DFS playbook covers every key position on DraftKings and FanDuel with our best MLB DFS picks for today.

MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Starting Pitchers
MLB DFS Top Pitchers
Shohei Ohtani (LAD)
Analysis: Despite coming off his worst two starts of the year, Shohei Ohtani is the best pitcher on today's slate. He's the only one on DK over 10K and he has a 1.47 ERA on the season. Ohtani has the best strikeout and win odds of the day of any pitcher on the main slate. Ohtani is the highest rostered pitcher of the day
Tarik Skubal (DET) (FD Main Slate)
Analysis: Skubal, on FanDuel, is the fifth-highest priced pitcher on the slate. For a guy who threw 94 pitches in his second start back, he's as close to full as he could be. His fastball velocity was on par with his seasonal averages and his sinker was actually faster, so he threw harder last start than he has this season as a whole. He had 13 whiffs and the Yankees are an offense that is good against lefties, but has nearly a 23% K-rate against them.
Gage Jump (ATH)
Analysis: There is a LOT to like about Gage Jump thus far at the major league level through his first five starts. The strikeouts are starting to come which is predictable considering his 11.3% SwStr rate. Jump gets a massive ballpark upgrade facing off against the Giants tonight too. The Giants have a 98 wRC+ against lefties this year and strike out 22% of the time against them.
Trey Yesavage (TOR)
Analysis: The strikeouts are going to come and they're going to come in waves. He has a 13.7% SwStr rate but only has a 23.7% K-rate. That's going to go way up and it's possible this is a spot it trends up. The 22.1% K-rate vs. RHP that HOU has is above the league average. This isn't the best spot as the Astros have a 104 wRC+ against righties, but this is a bet on the pitcher on a slate without a lot of great options.
MLB DFS Value Pitchers
Martin Perez (ATL)
Analysis: It's never comfortable playing Martin Perez but I must say, he's pitching well this year. He has a great matchup against the Padres who rank 29th in OPS and wOBA, 24th in ISO, and 30th in wRC+. The strikeouts are the part that worry me because Perez doesn't really miss bats. The Padres have a 22.8% K-rate against lefties this year.
Shota Imanaga (CHC)
Analysis: With Javier Assad pitching the first game of the Cubs/Mets double-header, Imanaga gets Game 2. It's been a very inconsistent stretch for Imanaga but the spot is good. The Mets are 26th in wOBA, 23rd in OPS, 20th in ISO and wRC+ against left-handed hurlers. They don't walk at all and have a 22.4% K-rate to boot against LHP. He's getting NO ownership despite having the third best K-rate on the board.
Top Options For Strikeouts
K-prop lines and value ratings are incorporated below for DFS and prop context. These are the arms building the highest strikeout ceilings on the 9-game slate.
Our model identifies these arms as the highest-ceiling plays for Alt-K lines today:
Joe Ryan: 28.1% K% (10.2 K/9)
Ryan Weathers: 27.2% K% (9.9 K/9) (FD main slate)
Shohei Ohtani: 27% K% (9.3 K/9)
Tarik Skubal: 26.9% K% (9.6 K/9) (FD main slate)
Braxton Ashcraft: 26.3% K% (9.6 K/9) (FD main slate)
Bryan Woo: 24.9% K% (8.9 K/9) (FD main slate)
Shota Imanaga: 24.1% K% (8.7 K/9)
Best Odds For A Win
The following MLB DFS picks offer a combination of favorable win odds, sustainable ERA and xFIP metrics, and soft opponent matchups. Each carries K-prop lines worth noting alongside their DFS value at reduced ownership relative to the top tier.
- Shohei Ohtani +129
- Tarik Skubal +132
- Martin Perez +145
- Trey Yesavage +163
MLB DFS Lineup Picks: Stacks & Hitters
MLB DFS Top Hitters
Ketel Marte (2B, ARI) & Corbin Carroll (OF, ARI)
Analysis: This is a fantastic spot for the DBacks and at the top of the list are Ketel Marte and Corbin Carroll. Both Marte and Carroll have elite numbers against lefties. Marte has a .253 ISO and .371 wOBA vs. LHP while Carroll sits at .277 ISO and .475 wOBA against them. LHH have a .301 ISO and RHH have a .200 xISO against Matthew Liberatore.
Kyle Schwarber (OF, PHI) (FD Main Slate)
Analysis: Carson Palmquist is starting the game and Miles Mikolas is coming into the game after that. Those are REALLY good things for Kyle Schwarber who's homering every day at this point. It's June 24th and Schwarber has 29 bombs.
Nick Kurtz (1B, ATH)
Analysis: Tyler Mahle has had a power problem and Nick Kurtz provides a LOT of it. Kurtz has a .291 ISO, .302 xISO, .445 wOBA, and .437 xwOBA against right-handed pitching. Kurtz has massive upside despite the ballpark.
Dillon Dingler (C, DET) (FD Main Slate)
Analysis: Ryan Weathers has had a right-handed hitting home run problem. Righties have a .197 ISO and .215 xISO against Weathers and Dingler has been incredible this year. Dingler has a .221 ISO vs. LHP on the year and will likely slot into the two-hole for Detroit tonight.
Ozzie Albies (2B, ATL)
Analysis: The one thing Ozzie Albies has always been able to do is mash left-handed pitching and this hasn't changed at all. Albies has a .214 ISO and .366 wOBA vs. LHP this year and is facing JP Sears. Sears has spent the entire season at Triple-A and righties are mashing him.
MLB DFS Value Hitters
Jac Caglianone (1B/OF, KC) (FD Main Slate)
Analysis: Six home runs over his last five games and yet, here we are and Jac Caglianone with both 1B and OF elgibility is still under 3K. He faces Griffin Jax, who's struggled against left-handed hitters this year. Ding ding ding.
Matt Shaw (3B/OF, CHC)
Analysis: With Nolan McLean starting Game 1, we'll see Sean Manaea start Game 2. Matt Shaw raked against lefties last year and has done so again this year. Shaw has a .236 ISO and .379 wOBA this season. Righties have a .191 ISO and .362 wOBA vs. Manaea.
Daulton Varsho & Jesus Sanchez (OF, TOR)
Analysis: The Toronto Blue Jays lefties are in a fantastic spot against Mike Burrows in this spot. Burrows has allowed a .260 ISO, .207 xISO, .421 wOBA, and .379 xwOBA to left-handed bats. Varsho has homered in two of three and .159 ISO and .326 wOBA while Sanchez is at .189 ISO, .204 xISO, .357 wOBA, and .362 xwOBA against righties.
Garrett Mitchell (OF, MIL)
Analysis: Rhett Lowder has had a lefty problem and Mitchell's starting to turn it around. Mitchell has a .195 ISO, .225 xISO, .359 wOBA, and .351 xwOBA. Lowder has allowed a .195 ISO, .261 xISO, .354 wOBA, and .397 xwOBA to lefties.
MLB DFS Top Stacks
Primary Stack: Arizona Diamondbacks vs Matthew Liberatore (STL LHP)
Why: Both splits hammer Matthew Liberatore and the Diamondbacks have the fourth highest wRC+ against left-handed pitching in the sport. Lefties have a .301 ISO and .403 wOBA against him while righties are at .177 ISO, .200 xISO, .362 wOBA, and .371 xwOBA.
Targets: Ketel Marte, Corbin Carroll, Tommy Troy, Gabriel Moreno, Nolan Arenado
Primary Stack: Milwaukee Brewers vs Rhett Lowder (CIN RHP)
Why: Everyone is stacking the Milwaukee Brewers today as they're currently the only team above 5 implied runs and are in a small, offensive minded ballpark. The lefties have robust numbers against Rhett Lowder posting a .195 ISO, .261 xISO, .354 wOBA, and .397 xwOBA. He's dominated righties and there are some key righties hitting in primary lineup spots.
Targets: Brice Turang, Christian Yelich, Jake Bauers, Garrett Mitchell, Jackson Chourio, William Contreras, Cooper Pratt
Primary Stack: Philadelphia Phillies vs Carson Palmquist (PHI LHP) (FD Main Slate)
Why: The Nationals are throwing Carson Palmquist out there as the starter and Miles Mikolas is pitching behind him. This combination is the primary reason as to why the Phillies are getting a boatload of ownership.
Targets: Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, Alec Bohm, Brandon Marsh, Bryson Stott
"Contrarian" Stack: Cincinnati Reds vs Shane Drohan (MIL LHP)
Why: Shane Drohan the starter has not been the same pitcher as Shane Drohan the reliever. Drohan – in the same amount of innings – has pitched to a 5.09 ERA compared to a 1.82 ERA. As a starter, his walks are up, strikeouts are down, and numbers are much worse. That bodes well for the Cincinnati Reds who actually rate out well against lefties posting a 101 wRC+, which is eighth-best in baseball.
"Contrarian" Stack: Atlanta Braves vs JP Sears (SDP LHP)
Why: Righty power has given him many issues at every level and it hasn't changed at all in the minors this year. Righties have a .900+ OPS at Triple-A this year and 9 of his 10 HR allowed have come vs. RHH. At the major league level, splits were pretty equal against righties and lefties. Sears had allowed a .222 ISO, .197 xISO against lefties and .243 ISO, .206 xISO, and .351 wOBA against righties at the major league level in 2025.
Targets: Ozzie Albies, Drake Baldwin, Matt Olson, Mauricio Dubon, Michael Harris
