Our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.
Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!
This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.
The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.
The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.
The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers
Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups
Core MLB DFS Pitchers
Blake Snell, Los Angeles Dodgers
Blake Snell has been dominant this postseason and just has had a great 2025 when healthy. He has a 2.18 ERA through 13 starts and has 90 Ks in 74.1 IP. Snell's ceiling makes him the top candidate on this slate. I think he probably has the longest leash out of any pitcher, too.
Logan Gilbert, Seattle Mariners
Logan Gilbert has really hit his stride as he's he's allowed 2 ER or less in seven consecutive outings and 3 ER or less in nine straight. He's had 14 DKP or more in each of those games he's started (8 outings.) Gilbert had his best year in terms of strikeouts as he had never had more than 9.6 K/9 until this year where he ended the season at 11.89 K/9. This is a tricky strikeout spot because the Blue Jays have the lowest K-rate in the league.
Trey Yesavage, Toronto Blue Jays
Will the Seattle Mariners be able to hit the splitter, that is the question of the day. If they can't, well, he's going to miss a lot of bats and strike a bunch of people out. The Mariners, as good as they've been since the All-Star break, have struck out 23.9% of the time against righties over that time.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters
Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.
Core MLB DFS Hitters
Ranking My Top Stacks below;
So far this postseason, the Dodgers have five players with an OPS over .800 that have had 20 at-bats and Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Will Smith are not included there.
That's SCARY for the Brewers.
There still hasn't been a official announcement on who's starting, but it's either an opener, Jose Quintana, or Quinn Priester. The Dodgers have great roster flexibility and it's hard to ignore basically anyone.
We should expect Ohtani, Smith and Freeman to take a leap. Teoscar Hernandez, Mookie Betts, and Enrique Hernandez will keep hitting whoever the Brewers throw at them. If Tommy Edman gets a lefty, he's going to mash while if it's a righty, Max Muncy could belt two homers.
I think this is an interesting spot and the Blue Jays offense could get back on track here. They face Logan Gilbert, who's a really good pitcher, but has struggled on the road compared to pitching at home. He's specifically struggled against right-handers on the road as they're flashing .284/.344/.517 with a .368 wOBA.
The Blue Jays have quite solid right-handed batters in Vladimir Guerrero, George Springer, Alejandro Kirk, and Ernie Clement. His flyball rate against lefties on the road is elevated too, so throwing in Addison Barger and Daulton Varsho to round out your stack makes sense.
Although it's a small sample, righties have been the side of the dish that have gotten to Trey Yesavage more than lefties have;
vs. RH - .042 ISO, .149 xISO, .352 wOBA, .404 xwOBA
vs. LH - .032 ISO, .099 xISO, .216 wOBA, .261 xwOBA
It's because of the splitter, which we saw absolutely wipe out the New York Yankees in the ALDS.
On splitter data, here are the Mariners that have good numbers (small samples);
- Cal Raleigh (32 PA) - .269 ISO, .208 xISO, .406 wOBA, .371 xwOBA
- Julio Rodriguez (15 PA) - .214 ISO, .240 xISO, .358 wOBA, .370 xwOBA
- Eugenio Suarez (13 PA) - .333 ISO, .237 xISO, .309 wOBA, .220 xwOBA
I'll throw Randy Arozarena and Victor Robles in Mariners stacks because the right-handed hitting element.
This is an awfully tough spot for the Brewers with how well Blake Snell has pitched this year as a whole, but especially this postseason.
His two postseason starts:
vs. PHI - 6 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 9 K
vs. CIN - 7 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 9 K
If I'm looking at the Brewers offense, Jackson Chourio, William Contreras, and Andrew Vaughn stand out.
