The 2021 trade deadline was one of the splashiest in recent memory. Now that one month is in the books, let's look at some trades that have worked out well. All of these players could be flying under the radar on your waiver wire and could be great pickups as we head into the final month of fantasy baseball season.

  1. Jorge Soler. Jorge Soler is rostered in only 57% of Yahoo leagues, which means many fantasy baseball players simply aren't paying enough attention. Soler started the season off slowly, flashing his trademark power but batting only .192 for the Kansas City Royals. Since moving to Atlanta, however, Soler is completely dialed in. He's slashing .281/.391/.563 since joining the club with a .954 OPS, and he has eight homers, three doubles, and 16 RBI across 26 games. Soler has a hard-hit rate in the top 11% of the league and a max exit velocity in the top 5%. He's no small part of why the Braves have surged to the top of the NL East and look to be making a run at the post-season even without Ronald Acuña Jr. If Soler is on your wire, be sure you're the one that grabs him.
  2. Josiah Gray. As part of the deal for Trea Turner and Max Scherzer, the Dodgers sent Josiah Gray to Washington, and this trade looks to be working for both sides. Before the rough start last night, Gray had turned in five consecutive strong starts to the tune of a 2.89 ERA across 28 innings pitched. The 23-year-old is rightie strikes men out at a rate of 10.5 per nine innings, and he's only rostered in 41% of Yahoo leagues.
  3. Abraham Toro/Kendall Graveman. This exchange has benefited each of the divisional rivals. Seattle seems to have found their future third baseman in Toro, who is batting .324 with a .400 OBP as compared to his .211 BA and .287 OBP with Houston, where he was blocked by Alex Bregman. Meanwhile, Graveman has been a big part of lowering the Houston bullpen's ERA to 3.89 since the All-Star Break. He's recorded five holds and one win since joining the club, and on the season, he has an ERA of.... get this... 1. Toro is only 20% rostered in Yahoo leagues, and Graveman is rostered in 54%. If you are in a Holds + Saves league, I would immediately check if Graveman is on the wire and consider handcuffing if you are the Ryan Pressly manager.
  4. Tyler Anderson. Speaking of Seattle, Tyler Anderson has been thriving since moving west. With the Mariners, Anderson has posted a 3.18 ERA across six games started. That's especially impressive in a division featuring the Astros, A's, and high-contact Anaheim Angels. Anderson isn't a big strikeout pitcher, but he could help log you some Wins. He's available in 75% of Yahoo leagues.

Riley Adams. I mentioned Adams in last week's Hot Corner video. I know catcher isn't a sexy position, but it's one where you can rack up some advantage due to positional scarcity. Since joining the Nationals, Adams is slashing .341/.451/.581 with a 1.032 OPS. He has two home runs and four doubles across 18 games, and he's hit safely in eight of his last nine games. Ride this hot hand while you can. He's still available in 98% of Yahoo leagues.
