Welcome to the weekly wide receiver/cornerback breakdown! We will review each of the outside matchups, as well as my 10 favorite matchups in the slot. Then, below the charts in this article, I break down my five absolute favorite matchups. We will be missing four teams this week as the Texans, Bengals, Bears, and Giants are off. Not the worst group possible to be out, but still some fantasy players in there. Don’t worry, we have you covered in all formats. This article is critical for daily players and season long, as this will help you gain a competitive advantage when setting your lineups. Follow me on Twitter (@fightingchance) as well!

Left WRRight CBAnalysis
Christian Kirk ARZStephon Gilmore CAREven without Kyler Murray last week, Kirk still had six catches for 91 yards last week against the 49ers and nearly threw a touchdown pass! It does seem iffy that both Murray and DeAndre Hopkins play again this week which means that Kirk will continue to get a larger target share, but it also means he will have a far inferior player throwing him the ball. Gilmore has been fantastic in his two games for the Panthers, allowing just two of five targets to be caught and has an interception in each game. I like the situation for Kirk on his own team, but this matchup makes him just a flex play in season long leagues.
Tajae Sharpe ATLTrevon Diggs DALHe had a couple of decent weeks, but Sharpe came crashing back to Earth last week with just one catch on one target for 12 yards. I am thinking that those two good games were just outliers for Sharpe and that we should continue to expect a couple of catches and under 20 receiving yards from week to week.
Marquise Brown BALXavien Howard MIAMost of it didn't happen until late in the game, but Brown finished with nine catches on 12 targets for 116 yards. He was a beast in the Ravens fourth quarter comeback and turned in a solid fantasy day. He now has three 100 yards games and has had 80 yards or more in four of the last five weeks. Howard has allowed 14.4 yards per catch and a whopping seven touchdowns eight weeks. Brown is going to be a great play in both season long and DFS games again for Week 10 in a game that the Ravens should be able to win.
Stefon Diggs BUFBryce Hall NYJHe didn't keep his touchdown streak going, and I expected more than six catches for 85 yards against the Jaguars, but who knew the Bills would score just six points against Jacksonville. He is on pace for 96 catches and 1175 yards, but has just three touchdowns so far and I don't know about you but he feels like a letdown so far as he only has had a single 100 yard game all season long. This could be a good week for him though as Michael Pittman ruled the Jets secondary last week, and Hall is allowing 13.2 yards per catch and a 115.1 quarterback rating against. Diggs is all systems go in both season long and DFS games.
D.J. Moore CARRobert Alford ARZHe was having such a great season too, and now it is all swirling down the toilet thanks to awful quarterback play. Sam Darnold looks lost, and if he is hurt, P.J. Walker has shown flashes, but can he be any worse than Darnold has been? Moore hasn't scored since Week 4, and is still doing okay, but not like the number one or very high number two receiver you drafted him to be. The entire Panthers offense is off the DFS radar, and Moore is a WR3 at best right now as they go to Arizona against a strong secondary.
Donovan Peoples-Jones CLEJ.C. Jackson NEHe has just six catches on eight targets in the last two weeks but he has made the most of it with 187 yards and three touchdowns. Odell Beckham is out of the picture now, which shifts the target distribution for the Browns. However, they are still a run-first team, but will they run less with Nick Chubb and Felton out? Jackson is a strong corner and the Pats defense has been solid more often than not. I don't see him as a strong DFS player and he is a bit of a desperation play at flex until we see how the Browns passing game pans out in the coming weeks.
Amari Cooper DALFabian Moreau ATLThe entire Cowboys offense laid an egg last week against the Broncos, so I am not going to put too much stock into last week's performance. Cooper has five touchdowns and five performances over 50 yards in eight weeks. The Falcons secondary has played a bit better of late, but they have also had a weak schedule playing offenses like New Orleans, Carolina, Miami, the Jets, Washington, and the Giants. Moreau has allowed five touchdowns in eight games and a high 120.6 quarterback rating against, and I expect Dallas to bounceback offensively in a big way. Look for Cooper to be in play in both season long and DFS contests for Week 10.
Courtland Sutton DENDarius Slay PHIIs Sutton the odd man out when all three Bronco receivers are healthy? Jerry Jeudy is getting the most targets, Tim Patrick the most yards, and Sutton has just three catches on six targets for only 49 yards in the last two weeks. He hasn't scored in three weeks now either. Slay is allowing just 8.8 yards per catch, which for an outside corner is really strong. He has allowed just one touchdown since Week 3 and has an 86.6 quarterback rating against. I still wouldn't bench Sutton in season long leagues, but there is no chance that I would give him a second thought in DFS games.
Kalif Raymond DET Joe Haden PITThe last time he played he had no catches on just one target, but Raymond had a combined 12 catches and 15 targets the two weeks before that. In a nutshell we count on garbage time with Raymond as the Lions once were playing close games, but are now getting blown out weekly. Haden has allowed 65% of passes to be caught, but overall hasn't played poorly. Raymond is the most targeted wide receiver on the team and appears to be a lock for five catches most weeks. He is far from a sure thing, but you can do worse in your flex spot than the Lions top wide receiver.
Davante Adams GBSidney Jones SEAEven without Aaron Rodgers, Adams still had 14 targets last week, but unfortunately it was good for six catches and 42 yards. The quarterback should be back on the field this week, which surely helps Adams fantasy stock. Seattle is fifth worst in the league, allowing 274 yards per game through the air, and Rodgers should have little trouble moving the ball against them. As usual, Adams is a guy you have to consider in all DFS lineups and is always a play in season long leagues.
Michael Pittman INDShaquill Griffin JAXWhether T.Y. Hilton is in there or not, I love Pittman going forward. He is averaging eight targets a week for the season, and has scored five touchdowns in the last five weeks. Carson Wentz has been playing really well lately, and the Jags secondary is allowing 272 yards per game through the air. Griffin has allowed 11 of the last 14 targets at him to be caught and he allowed two touchdowns just two weeks ago. I am not thinking that Jacksonville can repeat that defensive performance they had against Buffalo and I like Pittman in both DFS and season long contests.
Marvin Jones JAXIsaiah Rodgers INDIt has been a rough stretch for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars offense and Jones has failed to top 35 yards in four of the last five weeks. However, you have to keep in mind the matchup this week, and the Colts secondary allowed Josh Johnson to throw the ball all over the place on them. Rodgers will be filling in for the injured Xavier Rhodes, and while he hasn't been awful, he also hasn't had to do a lot. The Colts have allowed 23 passing touchdowns in just nine games this season. It is a bit of a risk because of how bad Jacksonville's offense has been, but I like Marvin Jones a lot this week to put up a rare big game in 2021.
Mecole Hardman KCCasey Hayward LVThe Chiefs offense continues to run in place, and Hardman continues to disapppoint as he had a big drop and finished with just three catches for 20 yards. He did have six targets, which means he now has five or more in five straight weeks, but he still only has 111 yards in the last three weeks combined. Hardman isn't a great fantasy option when the Chiefs offense is firing on all cylinders, I certainly can't suggest you to use them when they are not really scoring a lot of points.
Odell Beckham LAREmmanuel Moseley SFWell, I sure didn't see Robert Woods going down for the year but hey it is 2021 so why should we not expect terrible surprises? Week 10 is shaping up to be just as odd as Week 9 was. Beckham hasn't played in a couple weeks and is now joining a new team mid-week. This normally would be cause to give him a week to sit, but the Rams passing game is one of the best in the league, they were talking about trying to get Beckham active before the Woods injury, and the Niners secondary is pretty putrid. He obviously comes with risk given the situation but I don't think Beckham is the worst play in either season long games or the DFS showdown slate.
Mike Williams LACCameron Dantzler MINHe hasn't had more than two catches in three straight weeks, but I love the matchup here. The Vikings secondary has allowed five passing touchdowns in the last two weeks and have looked incredibly beatable. They have also given up big games to number one receivers Marquise Brown and Amari Cooper. Dantzler has allowed 11 catches in the last two weeks and I think this is the matchup to get Williams back on track. The Chargers have one of the better passing games in the league and I think they will have great success against the Vikings.
Bryan Edwards LVJaylon Johnson CHIClearly the Raiders weren't impressed with any of their receiving options after Henry Ruggs was cut as they brought in DeSean Jackson this week. Edwards will certainly still be a starter, but he also caught none of his four targets last week and has had more than three catches just once this year and that was Week 1. It really doesn't matter what the matchup is, Edwards is not fantasy relevant.
Mack Hollins MIAMarlon Humphrey BALWell he had six targets last week which he turned into three catches for 22 yards and a score. In fact he has scored in two of the last three weeks. However, in those three weeks he has just five catches for 35 yards so it isn't like he is getting much usage. The Ravens secondary hasn't been good against the pass, but there is no way that you can consider Hollins in seasonal leagues, but might be the dart throw if you are targeting a Miami receiver not named Jaylen Waddle in the DFS showdown slate Thursday night.
Justin Jefferson MINChris Harris LACHe has just five catches for 90 yards combined in the last two weeks, but at least had a touchdown last week. I wasn't surprised two weeks ago against Trevon Diggs and the Cowboys, but I expected more against the Ravens. He now gets the one great corner that Vegas has in Harris. Although even he hasn't been great lately as he has allowed eight catches for 162 yards and a touchdown in the last two games. I like Adam Thielen more for DFS purposes in this matchup, but Jefferson certainly could have a good game as well and he is always a must-start in season long leagues.
Nelson Agholor NEDenzel Ward CLEIt was the big dud last week with not even a target after two straight weeks of over 50 yards. It just has been a disappointing season, and even against a Browns secondary that has been leaky this season there is no chance that Agholor even belongs on a roster, nevermind a starting lineup for Week 10.
Marquez Callaway NOJanoris Jenkins TENCallaway did have a touchdown last week, but he hasn't had more than three catches or 32 yards in the last three weeks as the Saints offense continues to sputter. Trevor Siemien and Taysom Hill aren't really competent quarterbacks if you like fantasy production. This is a great matchup against the Titans secondary that has allowed 16 passing touchdowns and Jenkins who has a 114.3 quarterback rating against this season. Callaway can be a flex play if you have some bye week issues this week, but not someone I have a lot of confidence in.
Corey Davis NYJTre'Davious White BUFHe missed last week with a hip injury, but Davis is set to get back on the field in Week 10. The Jets made the best choice at quarterback by starting Mike White who has looked good in five quarters so far this season. However, this is a really tough matchup as White has allowed just six of the last 17 targets at his way. He has just a 66.8 quarterback rating against and White likely will have issue producing against these Bills who have allowed just five passing touchdowns all season long. Davis is nothing more than a flex play for Week 10.
DeVonta Smith PHIRonald Darby DENSmith had a big week last Sunday with five catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, but it is tough to have a lot of faith in the Eagles pass game right now when Jalen Hurts has only thrown the ball just 31 times in the last two weeks combined. The Broncos allow just 223 yards per game through the air and have allowed only 11 passing touchdowns in nine weeks. I don't have a ton of confidence in the Eagles to score many points, but they really don't have options outside of Smith and Dallas Goedert. I still feel fine with Smith in my season long lineups.
Diontae Johnson PITAmani Oruwariye DETJohnson is one target away from averaging ten looks per game, and now the Steelers will be without Chase Claypool. That doesn't leave a lot of options out there for Mason Rudolph to throw to and Johnson's usage could go up even more in the coming weeks. Oruwariye allows 70% of passes to be caught and he is surrendering 14.1 yards per catch. The Lions are allowing just 244 yards per game through the air, but I think that is because teams are beating them so badly that they run a lot in the second half. Detroit has also allowed 15 pass touchdowns in just eight games. The Steelers should score a good number of points, and Johnson should be a big part of it.
D.K. Metcalf SEAKevin King GBHe didn't do all that bad with Geno Smith at quarterback as Metcalf has five touchdowns in the last four weeks but he sure will be happy to welcome Russell Wilson back this week. Metcalf is the steadying force in the offense as he has had five or more catches in three of the alst four weeks and five of the eight weeks this season. King came back last week after missing time with an injury, and played fairly well, however, he was getting burned badly in the beginning of the season, and is still averaging 15.5 yards per reception against. The Seahawks should ride an emotional high this week getting their leader back and I can see Metcalf being an option in both season long and DFS games this week.
Deebo Samuel SF Jalen Ramsey LARHis five catches last week were his second lowest total of the season and his 63 yards were his third lowest. The Niners offense continues to sputter a little, even though the receiving corps is pretty intact. They ddid lost an offensive lineman this week, and they have a super tough matchup against a rough Rams defense. Samuel has had some success against Jalen Ramsey in the past as Kyle Shanahan has devised creative ways to get him the ball. Even with that being said, it is too great of a risk to put Deebo in those DFS lineups, but I wouldn't let the matchup make me shy away from him in redraft leagues.
Mike Evans TBKendall Fuller WFTDespite just two catches for 48 yards, Evans did score for the sixth time in the last four weeks. He continues to do what he does best, which is make big plays (14 yards per catch) and score touchdowns (eight scores in eight weeks). Tampa is already without Antonio Brown and now is either dealing with no Chris Godwin or a compromised Godwin. The struggles of the Football Team secondary is well documented, and Tom Brady is going to eat them for dinner. Evans is going to be very chalky this week, but hey sometimes chalk delivers for you what you need. Evans should shine this week.
A.J. Brown TENMarshon Lattimore NO I have no faith in anyone else in this passing game and clearly Ryan Tannehill doesn't much either as Brown has had 40 targets in the last four weeks which he has turned into 30 catches for 421 yards. We all know the name of Marshon Lattimore, but he has really struggled this year. He has allowed a play of 39 yards or more in four of the last five weeks and is giving up a ridiculous 20 yards per catch. He has also surrendered five touchdowns this season, and four of them have come in the last three weeks. Brown is a great play across the board in fantasy games this week, and you can use him with great confidence.
Terry McLaurin WASJamel Deal TBTaylor Heinickie has struggled lately, and that has rubbed off on McLaurin most weeks as he's topped 50 yards just once in the last four games. He still is getting great volume as shown by the 38 targets over that time, but the whole Washington offense is struggling. They had a bye week to regroup, but gget a terrible matchup coming off the rest against Tampa. The Bucs secondary has been struggling, but stud Jamel Dean has not. He hasn't given up a touchdown since Week 1 and he has allowed just 43% of passes to be caught with an amazing 39.6 quarterback rating against. I would never sit McLaurin in a season long league, but this matchup has my expectations as low as they have been all year for the guy.
Right WRLeft CBAnalysis
A.J. Green ARZDonte Jackson CARHe missed last week with a positive Covid test, but as a vaccinated person he should have no trouble being able to suit up for Week 10. The question becomes how fantasy relevant might he be. Green has consistently scored around nine to 12 fantasy points in most weeks this seas, but I am concerned about his usage going down with Zach Ertz on the team as I feel like they are similar players. The Panthers secondary is getting better all the time, and Jackson has just an 84.3 quarterback rating against. If Kyler Murray plays and DeAndre Hopkins doesn't Green has some value but I would likely avoid him.
Olamide Zaccheaus ATLAnthony Brown DALHe may have caught two touchdowns, but Zaccheaus was still tied for fourth on the team with targets with three and had to catch all three of them for 58 yards to get those two touchdowns. Brown is the lesser of the two Cowboys main corners, but there is no reason to think that Zaccheaus can do that again. He is an afterthought on this offense that happened to have a good game and not someone you should consider for any fantasy purposes.
Rashod Bateman BALByron Jones MIAHe was third in targets and had a very healthy eight looks on the game and finished with five catches for 52 yards in the game. Of course, this was with Sammy Watkins out, but I am of the opinion that Watkins role will be minimal even when he returns. Bateman should continue to see the same kind of volume going forward. Jones has al 13.3 DaDOT (defensive average depth of target) which is a pretty high number. He also has a 100.3 quarterback rating against. Bateman won't be a great DFS target, but you should feel comfortable putting him in your starting season long lineups.
Emmanuel Sanders BUFBrandin Echols NYJWhat in the holy hell happened last week where the Bills only put up six points against the Jags and Sanders had just four catches for 65 yards. I have to believe that the Bills offense gets back on track this week, and Echols is allowing 12.7 yards per completion. Sanders has had less than five targets just once this season, and remains a very big part of Buffalo's passing attack. I would not put him in my DFS lineups given the fact that he has had two straight disappointing weeks, but Sanders certainly still qualifies as a WR3 or at worst a flex play for your Week 10 season long lineups.
Robby Anderson CARMarco Wilson ARZAfter no catches in Week 8, Anderson had one huge catch for two whopping yards in the game against the Patriots. He now hasn't broken 20 receiving yards since Week 5 and hasn't had more than three catches since Week 2. I can't see the quarterback change helping the situation either. Not sure how else I can say that you shouldn't trust Anderson in any sort of fantasy game or format.
Rashard Higgins CLEJalen Mills NEHiggins wasn't targeted last week, and Anthony Schwartz had just one. The offense is going to continue to be run first, and Jarvis Landry will be the main receiver. The offense isn't potent enough for another wide receiver to be fantasy relevant as they continue to throw to tight ends and running backs along with Landry and Peoples-Jones. There is no other receiver to consider on the Cleveland offense regardless of the matchup.
CeeDee Lamb DALA.J. Terrell ATLLast week was really just his second terrible game of the season, and the good news is that his ankle injury seemed to be ok and he still had nine targets, so there was at least some silver lining to be had. The Falcons secondary has actually been better of late, and Terrell is ranked as the third corner in all of football by Pro Football Focus. This might take him out of DFS consideration, but there is never a scenario where I will not have Lamb in my season long lineups no matter the matchup.
Tim Patrick DENSteven Nelson PHIHe had four catches for 85 yards and a score in Week 9, but overall the Denver offense isn't exactly one that lends itself to a ton of fantasy production. Patrick has more than four catches just twice all season long, and with all three receivers healthy it is hard to figure that Patrick will be a big contributor on a weekly basis. Nelson has allowed ten of the last 11 targets to be caught so Patrick isn't the worst flex play, but I would prefer to look elsewhere as both of these offenses are somewhat mediocre.
Khadarel Hodge DETCameron Sutton PITHe gets a couple of targets a week, but nothing that lends itself to fantasy relevance in any way. The Steelers secondary isn't awesome, but the Lions passsing game doesn't do anything to excite any fantasy player. Hodge hasn't broken 20 receiving yards this season and he sure as hell isn't going to do it this week.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling GBD.J. Reed SEAWe got a quick glimpse into life after Aaron Rodgers, and it wasn't pretty as Jordan Love didn't really force the ball down the field. The main quarterback should be back this week which should help the offense, but it really doesn't matter much. MVS has eight catches in the four games he has played, and even though the Seahawks secondary is far from the best in the league, you really can't trust anyone outside of Davante Adams on this team. There is a chance that he makes a big play, but the likelihood isn't enough that it is worth wasting a starting spot in any fantasy format.
Zach Pascal INDTyson Campbell JAXWe are ten weeks into the season, and we basically know what to expect from Pascal. When T.Y. Hilton isn't in there, he sits on the fringe of being a flex play in better matchups, but he is pretty largely touchdown dependent. The bad news there is he hasn't scored since Week 2 even though Indy has played some soft defenses. Pascal hasn't had double digit fantasy points in PPR leagues outside of weeks where he scored, and even against Jacksonville he isn't someone that I want in my starting lineups unless I am fairly desperate.
Laviska Shenault JAXIsaiah Rodgers INDYikes! He is still yet to score this season, and Shenault has a combined 37 receiving yards in the last two weeks. The team has certainly shifted away from him being an important part of the offense, and right now it is hard to even have him on a fantasy roster. The Colts secondary isn't good at all as we saw Josh freakin Johnson tear them up with no preparation last Thursday, but I still can't trust Shenault in any kind of fantasy format in Week 10.
Demarcus Robinson KCBrandon Facyson LVEach week I am more and more surprised how pedestrian the Chiefs offense has become. Vegas doesn't have a strong secondary at all, but even the top guys on the Chiefs aren't as much of a sure thing as they normally are. Robinson is so far off the fantasy radar he is on another planet!
Van Jefferson LAR Josh Norman SFThe loss of Robert Woods does put Jefferson back on the fantasy spectrum, especially this week. Odell Beckham is in town, but he isn't the most reliable option and he has only been on the team a few days. Add in that the Niners secondary (especially Norman) haven't been good at all this season and Matthew Stafford should crush on Monday night. I like him as a WR3 or a flex in season long leagues, and he just became a pretty attractive option for Monday night's DFS showdown slate and someone I want in a bunch of my lineups.
Jalen Guyton LACKris Boyd MINThree straight weeks he has had just one catch for under 20 yards and he hasn't had a game over 50 yards all season long. Nor has he scored a touchdown yet in 2021. Even against the Vikings secondary, do we need to know more? I think not let's move on.
Zay Jones LVRashad Fenton KCThe Raiders offense laid an egg in their first game since Henry Ruggs was cut, and Jones had just one catch for 20 yards. He did have four targets, but that is not a number that lends itself to fantasy relevance either. The Chiefs secondary is far from great, but right now I don't see how you trust any of these Vegas receivers until we start to see someone producing. Jones doesn't even belong on fantasy rosters, nevermind anywhere near a starting lineup.
Albert Wilson MIAAnthony Averett BALPreston Williams is going to be active, but Wilson is will likely be the more used player. The Ravens secondary isn't great, but the Dolphins passing game isn't great to begin with and it is worse without Tua Tagovailoa. The offense is going to run through Myles Gaskin, Jaylen Waddle, and Mike Gesicki and Wilson is nothing but a bad dart throw in the Thursday night showdown DFS slate.
Adam Thielen MINAsante Samuel LACMany of you will remember Vikings receiver Cris Carter and what was said about him on NFL Primetime on ESPN all the time (you know, when ESPN was good). All he does is catch touchdowns! Well, that is getting close to being said about Thielen as well as he has seven scores in eight weeks. He only had two catches for six yards last week, and has had 50 or fewer yards in five of eight games this season, so he needs to keep catching those scores. Asante Samuel hasn't been giving up a ton of yards, but has allowed ten of the last 11 targets at him to be caught. Thielen is the top red zone target on this team and should be a weekly starter in season long fantasy leagues.
Kendrick Bourne NEGreg Newsome CLEAfter a couple of weeks where he topped 65 receiving yards, Bourne has been back under 40 for the past two weeks. He also hasn't had more than four catches since Week 4. The Patriots are definitely a run-first team, and don’t focus on either of the two outside receivers for them to be fantasy relevant. The Browns secondary played better last week, and although they are still far from a solid unit, I wouldn't put Bourne anywhere near a starting spot in a fantasy league.
Deonte Harris NO Greg Mabin TENHe led the team in targets, although the touchdowns went to Stills and Callaway. Harris has 15 targets in the last two weeks, and that and his big play ability have caught my attention. The matchup with the terrible Titans secondary also is a plus for him. The negative is the quarterback play. Both guys are limited with arm strength and accuracy, and if Harris was on a team with a quality quarterback I would like him so much more. I can see scenarios where he could be your flex with four teams on bye, but his upside is somewhat limited by his teammates.
Elijah Moore NYJLevi Wallace BUFHe tied for the team lead in targets last week with eight and was the most productive receiver with seven catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns, although on one Xavier Rhodes basically fell down. Was that the Moore breakout game? He does have 13 catches in the last two weeks, so hopefully this will be the start of more for Moore. He has had six or more targets in five of the seven games he has played, so he is getting the volume. His best chance of success comes with starter Mike White, although this matchup against the Bills makes me hesitant to throw Moore out there. He won't be in any of my DFS lineups, but he can certainly be a flex play with four teams on bye.
Jalen Reagor PHIPatrick Surtain DENReagor has a whopping two catches for -6 yards the past two weeks, and the other problem is the Eagles have only thrown the ball 31 times combined in the last two weeks. I don't see that changing this week, Reagor has had more than three targets just once since Week 4 and hasn't topped 25 receiving yards since Week 3. He shouldn't even be on rosters.
James Washington PITJerry Jacobs DETChase Claypool is going to miss some time and the Steelers are running out of options at wide receiver. Washington hasn't had more than five targets in a game, but that number certainly seems like it has to go up this week against the Lions. Detroit is not a good pass defense at all, and the Steelers should be able to move the ball on them. I still think the majority of the offense is going to run through Najee Harris, Diontae Johnson, and Pat Freiermuth, but Washington could be a decent dart throw for DFS GPPs if you are looking for a big cost savings in a plus matchup.
Brandon Aiyuk SFDavid Long LARCOULD IT BE???? Could this be the revival we have been waiting for? Aiyuk had six catches on eight targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. Now, he also had a fumble which normally would have had him benched, but not last week. I am hoping that this will continue and Aiyuk will be the part of the offense he was supposed to be all season long. The Rams secondary has been great, but if Aiyuk is still going to featured it won't matter. I'll still put him in my season long lineups in Week 10.
Tyler Lockett SEAEric Stokes GBHe had another big game before the bye with 12 catches for 142 yards, but he still hasn’t scored since Week 2. The Seahawks will get Russell Wilson back this week, which should be an amazing help. The Packers kept the Chiefs offense in check last week, but Seattle's offense is in better shape right now. Stokes has given up a play of 40 yards or more in each of the last two weeks, and Lockett should be in all lineups and could be a nice GPP play this week as well.
Tyler Johnson TBWilliam Jackson WFTWith Antonio Brown still in a walking boot, that should keep Johnson in the starting lineup for another week. He made some headway in Week 8 before their bye with five catches for 65 yards. Tampa gets a gift matchup against the Washington defense which has been decimated in the air all season long. I wouldn't bother picking up Johnson in season long leagues as Antonio Brown is likely back in Week 11, but if you are looking for a really cheap receiver to fill out a DFS lineup, Johnson might be your guy as a dart throw especially if Chris Godwin isn't able to go.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine TENPaulson Adebo NOFinally the Titans have put Julio Jones on IR so I can stop having to update this article every freaking week after it is published. Westbrook-Ikhine hasn't had more than 30 yards in a game since Week 3 and that is with Julio Jones in and out of the lineup. The matchup with the Saints and Adebo isn't easy at all and you shouldn't consider the Titans second outside receiver in any fantasy format for Week 10.
DeAndre Carter WFTDee Delaney TBHe had three catches for 51 yards and a touchdown in the game before the bye, and the Football Team doesn't have a lot of other options to throw the ball to, although Logan Thomas should be back this week. Taylor Heinickie has certainly fallen off from the couple of good games that he had, and no matter who Tampa decides to put on Carter he is not someone that I have any real hopes for with fantasy production for Week 10.

Now, here are my 10 favorite matchups in the slot in Week 10.

Slot WRSlot CBAnalysis
Cooper Kupp LAR K'Wuan Williams SFEven in a game where the Rams offense struggled mightily, Kupp still had 11 catches for 95 yards. It broke his streak of three weeks straight with a touchdown, but it is hard to argue with 20.5 points in a PPR league. The 49ers secondary has been embarrassing this season as Colt McCoy just threw for 250 yards without DeAndre Hopkins. Matthew Stafford and Kupp are going to have a field day! He is a must-start in all fantasy formats and should be a nice captain in DFS showdown slates.
Keenan Allen LACMackensie Alexander MINHe had 12 catches for 104 yards and was two steps away from a touchdown that would have made it an amazing game. However, Allen has 24 targets in the last two weeks, and has taken over top dog status from Mike Williams for sure. He has topped 75 receiving yards in three of four weeks. Mackensie Alexander is allowing 12.5 yards per catch out of the slot with a 107.4 quarterback rating against. The Ravens just tore up the secondary and Justin Herbert is sure to do the same. Allen is a great cash or GPP option in DFS and always a start in seasonal leagues.
Tyreek Hill KCNate Hobbs LVThe targets remain strong, but the production has been inconsistent, which makes sense given how ordinary the Chiefs offense has become. Hill had just four catches for 37 yards, marking the second time in three weeks that he hasn't topped 50 yadrs and hasn't had over 100 yards since Week 4. However, the talent and the potential is out there so of course you continue to put him in your season long lineups and hope that this is the week they bust through again. After the last few weeks though, I can no longer suggest Hill in your DFS lineups until we see the Chiefs get back on track.
Chris Godwin TBBenjamin St.-Juste WFTHe has killed it the last two games with Antonio Brown out, and that will be the case again in Week 10. Godwin has 16 catches for 251 yards and two touchdowns in Weeks 7-8. He gets the cupcake matchup of all cupcake matchups too this week against Washington who has allowed the second most passing touchdowns in the league with 20 in eight games. Pay attention to his injury situation as we get closer to kickoff to be sure it isn't too serious. Tom Brady is going to cut through this secondary like a knife through butter and Godwin should be fired up in both season long and DFS matchups for sure assuming he is good to go.
Hunter Renfrow LVL'Jarius Sneed KCThe only bright spot at wide receiver last week, Renfrow had seven catches for 49 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Giants. No other wide receiver had more than four targets. While his numbers don't jump off the page, his usage should as the Raiders target share has to change some with Henry Ruggs gone. Renfrow looks like an every week WR3/flex starter and a potential DFS bargain against a weak Chiefs secondary. Sneed did have an interception Sunday but has been pretty appalling with a 75% catch rate, 12.2 yards per catch from the slot and a 112.9 quarterback rating against. I'm on board the Renfrow train for another week.
Jerry Jeudy DENAvonte Maddox PHIIt was good to see Jeudy get back on track as he had six catches on eight targets for 69 yards. Not to mention he was the most targeted receiver on the team last week. Maddox has allowed 15 of the last 16 targets at him to be caught, although he only gives up 6.8 yards per catch. The Broncos offense never really scores enough for the receivers to be big time DFS considerations, but he's a pretty attractive price for a number one-ish receiver and with Tim Patrick banged up I like Jeudy across the board this week.
Jaylen Waddle MIA Tavon Young BALEven with Tua Tagovailoa being a late scratch, Waddle still had eight catches for 83 yards on ten targets on Sunday. It would appear that Tua won't be back on Thursday, but considering how short the passes are to Waddle it doesn't really matter much who the quarterback is. He now has 43 targets in the last four weeks, and with DeVante Parker on IR, there is almost no competition for targets for Waddle outside of Mike Gesicki. He will be the only Dolphins receiver to consider for Thursday's showdown slate and Waddle continues to be a solid WR3 or flex at worse given his huge target share.
Cole Beasley BUFMichael Carter NYJIt was a second straight week that Beasley had over ten targets, but his production wasn't great as he had just 33 yards on eight targets. The Bills are having a hard time running the ball, and Beasley's usage has gone up because of that. As long as you are in PPR legues, using him is a no brainer right now. The Jets secondary barely seemed like they were on the field last Thursday against the Colts, and Josh Allen should have little trouble carving them up. Beasley isn't going to make any long catches, and he has just one touchdown all season long, but he is turning into a target monster and getting you 10+ fantasy points should be no problem.
Jamison Crowder NYJSiran Neal BUFHe has been targeted six or moretimes in all five games he has played this season, and got the best news that he could with Mike White being named the starter. Crowder will have to deal with sharing targets with Corey Davis and Elijah Moore, but Crowder will have the upper hand with short passes out of the slot, and won't have to deal with the Bills strong outside receivers. Neal is going to fill in for the injured Taron Johnson, so the Bills won't be quite as strong against the slot as they normally would be. Buffalo's defense should give the Jets all kinds of problems, but you can likely do worse as a flex option than Crowder.
Russell Gage ATLJourdan Lewis DALThe Falcons are showing a little bit of life the past few weeks and Gage led the team in targets and catches and had 64 yards. He has been incredibly up and down, but without Calvin Ridley there aren't a lot of options outside of Cordarrelle Patterson. Lewis is definitely the weak point of the Cowboys secondary, and has allowed nine of the last 11 targets to be caught. I am not expecting any big game here, but Gage has a solid chance of getting you 10-12 fantasy points as this game should have some good passing and there could be some garbage time for Atlanta.

Elite

Stefon Diggs vs. Bryce Hall

Yes, the Bills crashed and burned last week against a bad defense, but you always have to have a short memory with DFS. The guy is still one of the top targeted receivers in the league and have you seen the Jets defense lately? They have given up 34+ points in three straight games and 170 points in the last four games. Buffalo is surely going to want to come out and make a statement on offense after putting up just six last week against Jacksonville, and although they do have some other talented receivers, Diggs is still the number one without question. Look for him to break 100 yards and score.

Mike Evans vs. Kendall Fuller

One of the best pass offenses against the absolute worst pass defense with Tampa coming off a bye? They also are without other weapons. Evans already has some slate busting weeks in 2021 and this is set up for him to do it again. Washington can’t stop anyone, and somehow Tom Brady just keeps getting better? Evans is a near sure thing to score one touchdown, and if he had more than one, I wouldn’t be surprised. Washington isn’t prepared to stop this pass game even with a week off themselves to prepare. Evans should be one of the top producers in all of Week 10.

Affordable

Diontae Johnson vs. Amani Oruwariye

Volume, volume, volume. Lions, Lions, Lions! These are two things that often lead to fantasy success! Add that with the fact that Chase Claypool isn’t going to play and the Steelers second receiver is now James Washington and you get an idea in your head how many targets Johnson is likely to see in this one. I would say the floor would be a dozen. Detroit is getting beaten soundly the past few weeks, and their defense has allowed 106 points in the last three games. The Steelers aren’t running the most powerful offense out there, but they still have a reliable passing game, and Johnson is easily the top option. He has a chance and double-digit catches and a touchdown in this one.

Mike Williams vs. Cameron Dantzler

It has been a rough month for Williams outside of that Cleveland game in Week 5, but he is about to revert back to his early season form. He still has big play ability, and the Vikings are giving up a lot to wide receivers. Dantzler has given up a play of 15 yards or more in four of the five games he has played, and the Vikings have been giving up big points lately. Justin Herbert likes to spread the ball around some, but Williams should have his easiest matchup in a few weeks and fill up the fantasy box score in a big way.

Bargain Bin

Jerry Jeudy vs. Avonte Maddox

He is being used closer to the line of scrimmage since returning from injury, but you have to like the eight targets that Jeudy saw last week against Dallas. With Tim Patrick a little dinged up, and Courtland Sutton not getting the attention we thought he would, Jeudy appears to be the guy this week. As I stated earlier, Maddox isn’t allowing huge plays, but he is allowing a high percentage of passes at him to be caught. The Eagles have allowed 27 points or more in three of the last four games (the other was against the Lions soooooo) and 42 against the Chiefs in early October. You can certainly move the ball against this defense, and while Teddy Bridgewater is a long way from Tom Brady, he does have five multi-touchdown games this year. I like Jeudy to lead the Denver receivers and put up a game that gives you a good return on his very reasonable salary.
