Out of all of the WNBA slates to this point, Sunday’s may be the one most affected by injuries. Elena Delle Donne and Natasha Cloud remain questionable for Sunday’s game, and several of their teammates would be affected if one or both are able to return. The only good news on that front is Washington has one of the first games of the day, so we should at least know the starting lineup in enough time to change our DFS lineups.

The Chicago Sky play in the late game, which makes things a lot more tricky. Allie Quigley figures to be a game-time decision, and while I’m probably not playing her even if she starts, I would love Kahleah Copper for a GPP if Quigley cannot go. Similarly, Stefanie Dolson is doubtful for the game, so you can probably play Astou Ndour with confidence, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Cheyenne Parker or Alaina Coates start instead. If at all possible, I’m trying to play Copper and Ndour on DraftKings only, so that I can swap them out if it turns out they aren’t starting.

Player FanDuel Price  DraftKings Price Comments
Brittney Griner, F, PHO $  8,600 $     12,900I don't love paying up for the most expensive player, but I just trust Griner more than Sylvia Fowles, Alyssa Thomas or Nneka Ogwumike. It doesn't hurt that the Dream have allowed the most opponent's rebounds in the WNBA this season.
Alyssa Thomas, F, CON $  8,200 $     11,600Alyssa Thomas has two double-doubles this season and he has topped 20 points in a game, but she still hasn't put together a 20-point double-double. It is coming at some point, and even if it doesn't happen today, she has proven she has an awfully high floor.
A'ja Wilson, F, LV $  7,800 $     11,000Wilson remains the cheapest of the star forwards on both sites, but her fantasy production to this point is as good as anyones.  The Sky have allowed the fourth most opponent's points and third most opponent's rebounds this season, and they are even more vulnerable with Stefanie Dolson out.
Candace Parker, F, LAS $  8,200 $     10,500Like Courtney Vandersloot, Candace Parker had a rough game in her season debut last week, with 10 points and three rebounds on 3-11 shooting in 26 minutes. Also like Vandersloot, Parker's price is down on DraftKings. Minnesota's defense is not as scary as it has been, and Parker's ceiling is as high as anyone's, assuming she starts.
Courtney Vandersloot, G, CHI $  6,500 $     10,300Vandersloot managed just 11 points, two rebounds and seven assists in her season debut Friday, and things may not get much better until Stefanie Dolson and Allie Quigley return. On the other hand, she now faces the team with the worst defensive rating in the WNBA after facing the team with the best defensive rating on Friday. She may never be this cheap again, and she has a legit shot at a double-double with seven or eight rebounds, which she did four times in 2017.
Angel McCoughtry, F, ATL $  6,900 $     10,000I believe Angel McCoughtry is the best of the second tier forwards in Sunday's slate. McCoughtry is capable of elite numbers, though she hasn't gotten there yet this season. McCoughtry's minutes and usage are down from previous seasons, but her field goal percentage and effective field goal percentage are her highest since 2012. She played just 24 minutes in her last game, but I'm blaming that on foul trouble, and she played 33 minutes in the game before that. If she plays 30 minutes against Phoenix, I think she could have a huge game.
Jessica Breland, F, ATL $  6,800 $        9,100Jessica Breland is averaging 28.4 fppg on DraftKings despite shooting 32.4 percent from the field. Breland is a 46.3 percent shooter in her career, and she is going to start making shots any day now.
Kristi Toliver, G, WAS $  4,100 $        8,700I missed most of Toliver's good games because I kept waiting for her to start missing shots, and it finally happened Friday when she went 0-4 from the field in 31 minutes. Her price is too high on DraftKings, but I love her upside and price on FanDuel.
Chiney Ogwumike, F, CON $  6,100 $        8,400Ogwumike has played at least 24 minutes and scored at least 24 fantasy points on DraftKings in each of her last three games. She seems like a safe cash play for her price.
Tianna Hawkins, F, WAS $  4,900 $        6,900Is it unfair to Tianna Hawkins to call her the Tierra Ruffin-Pratt of forwards? She has played at least 23 minutes and scored at least 20 fantasy points on FanDuel in three consecutive games.
Ariel Atkins, G, WAS $  4,100 $        6,600Atkins played just 21 minutes Friday, but she still led the Mystics in field goal attempts despite shooting 38.5 percent and going 0-4 on threes. Atkins doesn't provide a whole lot other than scoring, but she is a pretty consistent scorer. She has at least 20 fantasy points on FanDuel in four consecutive games and five of her last six.
Lindsay Whalen, G, MIN $  4,100 $        5,800I don't think it is a coincidence Lindsay Whalen's best game of the season came against the rival L.A. Sparks. She probably isn't reaching 17 points and nine assists again, but if she gets just one of those numbers, she will be well worth her price.
Gabby Williams, F, CHI $  3,800 $        5,700Williams played 33 minutes Friday with Stefanie Dolson and Allie Quigley out, and while her six points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals won't light the world on fire, they are solid enough for a cash lineup, especially on FanDuel.
Tierra Ruffin-Pratt, G, WAS $  3,900 $        5,300Tierra Ruffin-Pratt has played at least 29 minutes in three consecutive games, averaging 11.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists over that span. She should be safe for as long as Natasha Cloud and Elena Delle Donne remain out.
Kahleah Copper, G, CHI $  3,400 $        5,000Copper was thrust into the starting lineup Friday with Allie Quigley out, and she had eight points, five rebounds and two assists on 2-9 shooting. Quigley is a game-time decision Sunday, but Copper's ceiling is pretty high if Quigley cannot go.
Astou Ndour, F, CHI $  3,000 $        3,200Ndour got the start Friday with Stefanie Dolson out, and she had eight points and three rebounds in 23 minutes. Dolson is doubtful Sunday, which makes Ndour a solid punt play. If Cheyenne Parker or Alaina Coates start instead, I would like them as well.
Diana Taurasi, G, PHO $  6,500 $        8,500Diana Taurasi is 23 points away from becoming the first player in WNBA history to score 8,000 career points. If she is close in the fourth quarter, I wonder if her teammates will try to help her reach the milestone in this game, especially if the game has already been decided. Taurasi has already scored 23+ points three times this season, and she is a solid GPP play, especially on DraftKings.
