Each week, we’ll break down the wide receiver position to help you build smarter, sharper DFS lineups, regardless of whether your goal is to build a bankroll through cash games or chase big payouts in GPPs. We’ll highlight the top-tier studs, the best value plays, and the mispriced players in the mid-tier to help gain an edge! Without further ado, let’s dive into the Week 6 DFS WR Coach, exclusively at Fantasy Alarm!

NFL DFS Week 6 WR Coach for Fanduel & DraftKings Fantasy

Be sure to keep an eye on this for updates throughout the week, because there are a few situations I’m monitoring, namely the injury reports for the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers, and San Francisco 49ers. Some good value options could open up depending on how the injury reports for those teams look, so we’ll see how the week shakes out. The top-tier looks pretty attractive this week, and then the mid-tier, especially on DraftKings, is loaded! After sifting through the data and crunching the numbers, I’ve identified my favorite plays at the position this week, and there should be a receiver or two at every price point to give you plenty of options when building your NFL DFS lineups this week.

NFL Week 6 Wide Receivers

Quick notes on the slate:

This is a living, breathing resource, and it will be updated as the week goes on, based on injury news, practice reports, etc. By Sunday, you may see some players removed who were earlier featured, or perhaps some players added as we approach Sunday kickoff.

NFL DFS WR Top Tier Picks for Week 6

Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DraftKings: $7,200 | FanDuel: $8,100

UPDATE: No Chris Godwin in Week 6!? Wheels up for Egbuka!

The return of Chris Godwin hasn’t impacted Egbuka much, seeing as Egbuka has 100+ yards and a score in back-to-back games. San Fran has been a bit more vulnerable out of the slot than on the perimeter, and Egbuka primarily plays out wide, but this is a spot where talent will win out. I expect this game to have some points scored, and Tampa Bay’s last three games have all breezed past 50 points. The 49ers play Cover 4 at the third-highest rate in the league at around 22% percent of the time, and the only players with more fantasy points per route run than Egbuka against Cover 4 are Malik Nabers, Ja'Marr Chase, Jaylen Waddle, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, per FantasyPoints.

Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams - DraftKings: $8,700 | FanDuel: $9,800

He’s expensive, but who cares? Baltimore is down bad at the moment, and even if they get a bit healthier, this has been a putrid defensive team. They play a good bit of man defense, and Nacua has the fourth-highest fantasy points per route run when facing man coverage, per FantasyPoints. Add in the fact that Baltimore has allowed the second-most fantasy points to wideouts on the season, and this Rams team should be a bit embarrassed after losing to an injury-depleted 49ers team. Sean McVay will not let that happen again, so expect the Rams to come out aggressive and keep the foot on the pedal. Davante Adams is certainly in play, too.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks - DraftKings: $7,600 | FanDuel: $9,000

The Jaguars have allowed the most receiving yards to the perimeter on the season, and JSN has a gaudy 5.05 yards per route run and 18.8 yards per reception when lined up out wide, per FantasyPoints. Albeit a small sample size, JSN has posted 1.07 fantasy points per route run against Cover 6, a scheme Jacksonville deploys at the highest rate in the NFL. Smash spot here.

NFL DFS WR Mid-Tier Picks for NFL Week 6

Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers - DraftKings: $6,000 | FanDuel: $6,600

Dallas has allowed the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, and with the Cowboys playing Cover 2 at one of the highest clips in the league, expect a big day from McMillan. The rookie has posted 0.55 fantasy points per route run against Cover 2, per FantasyPoints, and for comparison's sake, Ja'Marr Chase and Garrett Wilson sit at 0.53 and 0.52, respectively, for the 2025 season. He has at least eight targets in every game this season, and 60+ yards in four of five. Don’t be surprised if I add Xavier Legette before week’s end, especially with that sub-$4K price on DraftKings.

Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers - DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $7,300

UPDATE: Johnston is OUT. I'd pivot to Ladd McConkey over Keenan Allen, believe it or not. Our projected ownership points to that, too.

Jack Jones has struggled in coverage, and he’s been serving as Miami’s right CB the last few weeks. The majority of Johnston’s snaps come at the left WR spot, and I expect the Chargers to go after Jones in coverage, who has allowed over 11 yards per reception, a 116.4 passer rating when targeted, and two scores, per Pro Football Focus. He had a quiet Week 5 in a good matchup, but this Miami defense won’t hold the Chargers to 10 points like the Commanders somehow did, and injuries at RB might force the Chargers to be pass-happy on Sunday. However, I will note that QJ seems a bit pricey on FanDuel.

Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots - DraftKings: $5,800 | FanDuel: $5,900

The return to Buffalo likely had Diggs pretty amped up in Week 5, but nonetheless, he was targeted 12 times on 22 routes (0.55 targets per route run), and put up nearly 25 fantasy points in a PPR format! Nearly 100 of his yards came when he was lined up out wide, per FantasyPoints, and that matters because the Saints have surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the perimeter in 2025. New Orleans plays a lot of Cover 3 and Cover 4, and against those two schemes thus far in 2025, he’s posted 3.60 yards per route run and a perfect 100 percent catch rate on 13 targets (45 routes), per Fantasy Points.

Matthew Golden, Green Bay Packers - DraftKings: $5,000 | FanDuel: $5,800

In the two full games the Packers have played since Jayden Reed went down, Golden has led the team in routes run out of the slot, not to mention targets, receptions, and yards. He’s posted 2.50 yards per route run and 105.4 passer rating when targeted out of the slot the last two weeks, per FantasyPoints, and that’s notable because the Bengals have allowed the second-most yards per game to the slot this season. Dax Hill, Cincy’s primary slot corner, has allowed the second-most yards, most yards after the catch, and most yards per coverage snap amongst players with at least 60 snaps in slot coverage, per PFF.

NFL Week 6 DFS WR Value Picks

Tory Horton, Seattle Seahawks - DraftKings: $4,100 | FanDuel: $4,700

Right now, in Sam Darnold we trust! No team has allowed more yards per game to players out wide than the Jaguars this season, and Horton has found the end zone in three of his last four games. Jacksonville loves to play Cover 6, but they play Cover 3 one-third of the time, and believe it or not, Horton has a higher fantasy points per route run versus Cover 3 (0.86) than Jaxon Smith-Njigba (0.72) and Cooper Kupp (0.41). Cheap way to get some exposure to this Seattle offense with some touchdown upside.

Elic Ayomanor, Tennessee Titans - DraftKings: $3,900 | FanDuel: $5,100

Ridley had the big game in Week 5, but Ayomanor is going to see more of Kyu Blu Kelly, who has allowed the most yards in coverage this season, per PFF, not to mention 17.3 yards per reception, and a 128.2 passer rating when targeted. The Raiders rank in the bottom five in the league in terms of yards per game, yards per route run, and fantasy points per game out wide, and Ayomanor takes nearly every snap on the boundary. No team plays more Cover 3 than the Raiders, and Ayomanor has posted 1.96 yards per route run, 17.00 yards per reception, and 2.2 yards per target over expectation vs. Cover 3, per FantasyPoints.

Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts - DraftKings: $4,300 | FanDuel: $5,500

UPDATE: Alec Pierce is going to suit up, but I still like the matchup for Downs.

If Adonai Mitchell is still going to be in the doghouse in Week 6, and if Alec Pierce is unable to suit up again, Downs is intriguing against this Arizona defense that has allowed the sixth-most yards per game and fifth-most fantasy points per game to the slot, per FantasyPoints. Over the last two weeks, Downs has had a 24.3% first read rate and 1.55 yards per route run out of the slot.

Travis Hunter, Jacksonville Jaguars - DraftKings: $4,700 | FanDuel: $5,400

Snap share? Trending up. Route share? Trending up. The world saw his phenomenal catch on Monday night, and now he gets a matchup against a Seattle defense that has allowed the eighth-highest yards per route run and third-most fantasy points per game to the slot this season, per FantasyPoints. I doubt I’ll be using him in cash games, seeing as he hasn’t reached double-digit fantasy points in any game this season, but I’m intrigued to see if he can build upon Monday night. Also, Brenton Strange was placed on IR, and given the number of snaps he took from the slot, Hunter could stand to gain a bit, despite Strange being a TE.

NFL DFS WR Fade for Week 6

Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens - DraftKings: $5,900 | FanDuel: $6,800

UPDATE: Flowers is dealing with a shoulder issue, but even so, a healthy Flowers with Cooper Rush under center isn't an advantageous spot.

Flowers’ five catches for 72 yards last week don’t look too shabby against a stout Houston defense, but 56 of his yards came on a play where Derek Stingley tripped over his own feet. In other words, he was at four catches for 16 yards prior to that, and Cooper Rush is set for another game under center. San Francisco beat the Rams with the quick game in Week 5, and Flowers is dynamic with the ball in his hands, but there are just better options than Flowers with Rush as his QB.

NFL Week 6 WR Play of The Week

Marvin Harrison, Arizona Cardinals - DraftKings: $5,300 | FanDuel: $6,900

UPDATE: Kyler Murray is OUT. Jacoby Brissett will be the signal caller, but maybe, just maybe, Brissett will do what the Arizona offense has needed, which is PEPPER MHJ with targets. I'm intrigued by MHJ in GPPs more so than cash at this juncture.

I’ll call my shot, even if it isn’t that bold. Harrison is going for 20+ fantasy points this weekend against the Colts. Indy has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers and the ninth-most fantasy points per game to the perimeter, per FantasyPoints. The second-year pro has posted a 1.95 yards per route run and 16.8 yards per reception on the perimeter over the last three weeks, and Arizona is going to need to score to keep up.
