Welcome to the 2025–2026 Fantasy Football WR vs. CB Matchup Report for the Super Bowl - the final installment of this year’s series and the last matchup breakdown of the season. The fantasy regular season may be long behind us, but playoff leagues and DFS contests keep the grind alive right through the championship stage. With just one game left, every detail matters, and this report dives into the WR–CB matchups, recent production trends, and usage patterns that could give you the edge in the final showdown.

Before we get started, I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who took the time to read these reports throughout the year. I truly hope the analysis helped guide your lineup decisions, sparked some winning moves, and made the fantasy season a little more fun. Let’s break down the final matchup of 2025–2026 and finish strong.

Riq WoolenSEARisky
While he might have been out-targeted slightly by teammate Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte has been the Patriots most productive wide receiver so far in the NFL Playoffs. Boutte has a team-high 147 yards and also has a team high 26.3% first read percentage. Riq Woolen and the Seahawks secondary has typically made life difficult for opposing outside wide receivers, but we also saw Woolen give up some big plays in the Seahawks previous matchup against the Los Angeles Rams which is where Boutte thrives. Boutte could be the Patriots pass catcher with the highest upside this weekend when it’s all said and done.

Jaxon Smith-NjigbaSEA22.8 / 19.3

It’s been business as usual for Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the NFL Playoffs, picking up right where he left off in the regular season. JSN has led all Seahawks pass catchers with a 30% target share, 36% first read percentage, and 86 receiving yards per game. JSN has the upside to not only be the most productive pass catcher in this game, but he could also walk away with the Super Bowl MVP if the Seahawks are able to come away with the win. JSN will be my highest ranked wide receiver this weekend.

Mack Hollins spent the final two weeks of the Patriots regular season as well as their first two playoff matchups on IR with an abdomen injury but made his return in New England’s Conference Championship matchup against the Broncos where he caught both of his targets for 51 receiving yards. Hollins appears fully healthy heading into the Super Bowl and should see an increase on the 12 routes that he ran in the Patriots last game, but I would expect all of Stefon Diggs, Hunter Henry, and Kayshon Boutte to be priorities ahead of him in the Patriots passing offense.
Wide ReceiverTeamDK / FD PPG
Rashid ShaheedSEA8.8 / 7.2

Rashid Shaheed has had just one reception for 51 yards on five targets across the Seahawks two playoff matchups, where he’s been more of a factor on Special Teams than he has on the offensive side of the ball. Shaheed always possesses the upside to put up a juicy stat line with his big play ability, but he also has a dangerously low floor as well as he’s displayed so far across the NFL Playoffs. He’s not a bad play to sprinkle into DFS lineups while hoping for a few big plays, I just wouldn’t be banking on it.

Stefon DiggsNE12.5 / 10.1

Devon WitherspoonSEARisky
Stefon Diggs has led Patriots pass catchers with a 20.5% target share across the NFL Playoffs which has come out to 5.3 targets per game through three games. Diggs has managed 11 receptions for just 73 yards in those games, but he’s also had to deal with both difficult matchups and less than ideal weather. The matchup is still going to be a difficult one, but weather shouldn’t be a factor this weekend in a game that I think Diggs could once again lead the Patriots in targets. The matchup is a tough one, but Diggs is the Patriots pass catcher I’m projecting to have the most productive game this weekend.
Wide ReceiverTeamDK / FD PPG
Cooper KuppSEA7.9 / 6.3
CornerbackOppMatchup
Marcus JonesNEModerate
Cooper Kupp likely has the safest floor for any Seahawks pass catcher not named Jaxon Smith-Njigba this weekend. He’s been the clear second option in Seattle’s passing offense so far through two playoff games – coming in second in target share, first read percentage, and receiving yards per game, all behind only JSN. He’s obviously not the same playere was in his last Super Bowl appearance with the Los Angeles Rams, but he’s already shown he’s not afraid of the big stage after walking away with the 2022 Super Bowl MVP whenever he finished with eight receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals. The upside might not be what it once was, but Kupp should have a pretty solid floor this weekend.
