Super Bowl 60 is less than a week away as the Seattle Seahawks look to get revenge for Super Bowl 49 against the New England Patriots. With so many different prop bets, markets, and best bets to take advantage of, it is more important to keep track of news before the game, like Super Bowl inactives and Super Bowl injury updates.
Super Bowl 60 Late-Breaking News: Injuries, Inactives, and Final Updates
This article will act as your one-stop shop to keep you informed and updated on any Super Bowl inactives, Super Bowl injury updates, late-breaking news, and how to adjust your DFS or prop selections accordingly.
Late-week Injury Updates
Currently, in terms of Super Bowl injury updates, there are only a handful of notable players dealing with injuries. Both Drake Maye and Sam Darnold have sustained injuries through the playoffs, with Maye dealing with a shoulder injury and Darnold still nursing an oblique injury, but both are expected to be okay for the big game, with only Maye being listed as questionable.
Other players currently listed as questionable include the Patriots’ RB Terrell Jennings (Hamstring, Concussion), LB Harold Landry (Knee), LB Robert Spillane (Ankle), DT Joshua Farmer (Hamstring), TE Hunter Henry (Rest), WR Mack Hollins (Abdomen), and T Morgan Moses (Rest), along with the Seahawks LB Chazz Surratt (Ankle).
Seattle is dealing with some other injuries, including T Charles Cross (Foot), WR Jake Bobo (Hand), LB Ernest Jones (Chest), S Julian Love (Shoulder), and CB Josh Jobe (Foot), but none of these players currently has an injury designation entering the Super Bowl.

Inactive Surprises
As for Super Bowl inactives, there are no players currently listed as “Out” ahead of the big game, but there are a couple of names to keep an eye on. Seattle Seahawks depth offensive tackle Amari Kight is currently listed as “Doubtful” with a knee injury, and linebacker Chazz Surratt would have to be activated from injured reserve in order to not be one of the Super Bowl inactives.
Meanwhile, for the Patriots, while they seem like they are the more banged-up team overall, they do not have any players with a tag worse than “Questionable” at the moment. Some names to keep an eye on, though, would be Mack Hollins, who is dealing with an abdominal injury that landed him on IR during the regular season, and Terrell Jennings, who is still on IR and must be activated before kickoff.

DFS and Prop Adjustments
As players pop onto our list of Super Bowl injury updates or get added to Super Bowl inactives, DFS and Prop lines and picks should be adjusted accordingly. For example, since Drake Maye appeared on the Super Bowl injury updates, his prop to throw an interception jumped from -125 to -160. Additionally, Drake Maye’s passing prop is listed at O/U 220.5, a line he has surpassed over 70% of the time this year and almost 40 yards under his yearly average, making his over very enticing.
In terms of DFS, with a one-game slate, it is often enticing to just go with the best players on the healthier, more game-ready team, but that is not the most feasible strategy. Despite being listed as questionable, players like Hunter Henry have a good matchup against the Seahawks defense. Big-name players like Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Kenneth Walker on the Seahawks might lead to players like backup RB George Holani being a sneaky good play or WR Cooper Kupp, who has some momentum going into this game with the experience on this stage.
News Bettors Overreact to
Seeing the Super Bowl inactives or the long list of Super Bowl injury updates might cause bettors to overreact to the news. As the week goes along, some narratives might start to form, and injuries might drive certain overs or unders in a certain direction. Be sure to bet smart, take advantage of the peaks that public-driven lines force before fading the public and going in the opposite direction. This is the last game of the season for both teams in a must-win game; minor injuries are not going to change the game script THAT much.
