Kyle Kuzma , PF LAL ($4,900)

Anthony Davis is listed as doubtful heading into a matchup against Oklahoma City in which the Lakers are favored by double-digits, so there is no reason for Los Angeles not to be careful here. That means Kuzma is likely headed to the starting lineup, but he has been averaging 24 minutes per game over his last five, so it’s not like he doesn’t have a role in the Lakers offense. Kuzma’s usage rate has been down slightly this season (19.1%) but he is averaging 12.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in his last five games and Davis’ absence should help boost that usage.

Michael Porter , SF DEN ($5,200)

Porter has had a rough go of things offensively with just eight points in each of last two games, but with 15.2 points per game so far this season he is capable of more. I’m betting on Porter finding his stroke tonight although at this price he doesn’t need to do too much more offensively. Denver stuck with Porter on Saturday as he played 34 minutes and he didn’t leave fantasy owners too disappointed with nine rebounds and three blocks which left him with 27.8 FDP. I’ll take that floor any day since we know the playing time is not a mirage.

Denzel Valentine , SF CHI ($4,400)

When a game has an over/under of 237.5, you aren’t wrong in expecting a fast-paced affair with tons of offense and fantasy production. As Chicago deals with some injury issues with Lauri Markkanen slated to miss tonight’s game, Valentine slides in as the beneficiary. Playing a season high 37 minutes in his last game, Valentine put up 20 points while adding four assists and three rebounds in what appears to be a repeatable performance. In his two games prior, the forward averaged 13.5 points in 19.5 minutes which gives him an average of 29.87 FDP in his last three contests. At this price he doesn’t even need to play 37 minutes again but Markkanen’s absence certainly helps.

Juan Toscano-Anderson, SF/PF GS ($4,500)

Toscano-Anderson is slated to get another start tonight and we are mixed as to whether we want a repeat of Saturday night’s effort. The 34 minutes of playing time certainly were a good thing along with his 10 rebounds, but those two points were not. That came after the forward scored 14 and 16 points in his two previous games but Toscano-Anderson will get another chance tonight in Golden State’s starting lineup as those rebounds provide a nice production floor.

Derrick White , PG/SG SAS ($5,100)

With White back in the starting lineup, let’s chase that usage. White stepped things up a little bit from a minutes perspective on Saturday (29) and scored 14 points to go along with five assists. It’s going to be a close, high scoring game (over/under of 233 with the Spurs currently favored by a point) against Golden State so the pace should also benefit White here as getting to 30 DKP isn’t a huge lift with him averaging 25.06 in the four games since his return.

Maxi Kleber , PF/C DAL ($4,500)

At this price it’s hard to turn my back on a starter who played 32 minutes in two of his last three games. Kleber is a large part of what Dallas does in the front court and his 16-point, eight rebound game on Saturday against the Warriors points to his upside. After testing positive for COVID-19, Kleber appears to be rounding back into form. Minnesota doesn’t offer much in the way of front court resistance as Kleber is prime position for a repeat performance.
