Player Breakdowns

CPT/MVP

1.) Steph Curry PG (GSW) $17,400

Curry continued his hot streak last night as he torched the Wizards for another 50+ fantasy points, making his fourth 50+ fantasy point effort in his last five tries. He poured in 32 points, grabbed six boards, dished five dimes, and accrued two steals across 35 minutes of action. Curry gets another very plus match up here against the Rockets, as we can see they are allowing the 3rd MOST fantasy points to the PG spot over their last ten contests played. *Curry with Oubre off the floor – 332 minute sample with a 35.8% usage and 1.68 FP/M.

2.) Christian Wood C (HOU) $14,700

Most will likely go John Wall here, and that’s likely totally fine, but I think we all know how much the Warriors have struggled down-low. Wiseman is still a rookie and they have decent fantasy point totals to both the PF and C spot as of late as shown above. I think that Wood is the way to attack the Warriors from a sheer fantasy-point and match up stand-point. Wood Has been uber consistent lately, going for 36+ fantasy points in six of his last seven contests played, while seeing at least 31 or more minutes in that span, as well. Wood has carried a solid 25.7% usage rate for the last six games to boot, which is good for behind only Kevin Porter Jr. and John Wall (and only one game played for Wall).

MID-TIER

1.) John Wall PG (HOU) $9,600

Again, Wall and Wood I think can both be used at the CPT/MVP spot, but I think the way their prices are (Wood being a little extra cost) and the match up for Wood, I like him a smidge more than Wall tonight. Wall rejoined the line up three nights ago after missing multiple games and looked to have zero rust as he went for 57 fantasy points against the Mavericks with 31 actual, three rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and one block in 34 minutes of action. He carried a hefty 33.3% usage rate for that contest to boot, and the match up here isn’t that bad either.

2.) Draymond Green PF/C (GSW) $8,800

This game should fit Green perfectly, as an up-tempo, lots of transition likely and allows him to have ample opportunities to accumulate fantasy points. Green topped 31 fantasy points last night against the Wizards in 33 minutes on the floor with five points, five boards, eight dimes, two blocks, and three steals. His ability to fill the stat sheet is quite good, and if he could just score a few more points, he could easily hit double-double area with triple-double potential.

3.) Andrew Wiggins SG/SF (GSW) $8,600

Wiggins sees a 23.8% usage rate with a 1.01 FP/M in 410 minutes this season with Oubre off the floor. He went for 38 fantasy points last night against the Wizards on 15 points, seven boards, six dimes, and three steals spread over 36 minutes. Wiggins has taking 12+ shot attempts in his last three-straight games, and could easily see him get a few more looks tonight without Oubre.

4.) Kelly Olynyk PF/C (HOU) $7,400

Olynyk has made quite the nice first impressions since joining his new team in the Rockets. Olynyk has put up 45, 31, 46, and 32 fantasy points in his last four games played, while seeing 29, 33, 34, and 32 minutes. He has put up back-to-back double-doubles in his last two, with two steals and two blocks. He has the potential to gain another double-double here tonight in my opinion and he is one of my favorite mid-tier plays.

DARTS

1.)  James Wiseman C (GSW) $6,600

Interestingly enough, it is Wiseman that is second on the list after Curry on who gets the most benefit of Oubre being off the floor. Wiseman sees a modest 26.5% usage rate with a 1.02 FP/M in a 242-minute sample with him off the floor. Wiseman has also played 23, 25, and 31 minutes in three of his last four games played, while recording 20, 32, and 27 fantasy points in those three to boot. Wiseman is always a risk, but he is getting minutes and gets a nice bump with Oubre off the floor.

2.) Kent Bazemore SF (GSW) $4,000

Bazemore Should be another beneficiary with the Oubre absence, at least in the minutes-sense. Baze has played 26 and 28 minutes over his last two games, while putting up 28 and 18 fantasy points in those two, as well. He should see just as many minutes, if not more tonight and should have 20+ fantasy point potential in this match up.
