Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!
This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.
The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.
The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.
The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers
Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups
Core MLB DFS Pitchers
Carlos Rodon, New York Yankees
This isn't the easiest spot on the board obviously. The Blue Jays offense is on fire and they don't strike out, but Rodon has been as consistent as anyone across baseball. He's completed six innings in seven straight starts and nine times over his last 10. He's had double-digit FP in all 10 of those games. He's averaged 19.2 DKP/game over that span.
Logan Gilbert, Seattle Mariners
2025 started off on a high, went down the tubes fast with a shoulder issue, and ended the regular season on a high not allowing more than 2 ER in any start after 145. He had a career-high 32% K-rate this year and a career-low 2.95 xFIP and xERA of 3.03. This is an elite spot with the Tigers bottom-five in every major category against righties over the last month while striking out nearly 27% of the time.
Shane Bieber, Toronto Blue Jays
Bieber has been really good against lefties this year on the surface and the Yankees throw a LOT of lefties at their opponents. Bieber has to avoid the righties, but has been solid since coming off the IL. Navigating the Yankees lineup isn't easy, but there's a lot of strikeout upside in their lineup.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters
Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.
Core MLB DFS Hitters
Ranking My Top Stacks below;
Over the last month, the Seattle Mariners rank number one in baseball in OPS, wOBA, and wRC+, and second in ISO against right-handed pitching. Lefties are the one's really giving Jack Flaherty issues this year, but righties also have some decent expected power numbers.
vs. LH - .178 ISO, .179 xISO, .333 wOBA, .342 xwOBA, 13 HR
vs. RH - .154 ISO, .181 xISO, 10 HR
Top lefty plays: Cal Raleigh, Jorge Polanco, Josh Naylor (if available), J.P. Crawford, Dominic Canzone
Top righty plays: Julio Rodriguez, Eugenio Suarez, Randy Arozarena
Thins haven't been all good for Shane Bieber since his return and the Yankees offense could exploit that. Bieber pitched to a 3.57 ERA but a 4.58 xERA in seven starts since returning from the IL.
vs. LH - .091 ISO, .172 xISO, .192 wOBA, .288 xwOBA
vs. RH - .297 ISO, .254 xISO, .396 wOBA, .389 xwOBA
The Yankees hit a LOT of home runs at Yankee Stadium and have two of the better power-hitting right-handers in the league in Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. From the left side, the Yankees have a bunch of upside with Jazz Chisholm, Ben Rice, Cody Bellinger, and Trent Grisham.
Carlos Rodon has been very good all year long. The Toronto Blue Jays have been very good..all year long. They have elite lefty-hitting bats everywhere up and down the lineup;
- George Springer - .221 ISO, .218 xISO, .358 wOBA, .376 xwOBA
- Vladimir Guerrero - .193 ISO, .248 xISO, .404 wOBA, .448 xwOBA
- Alejandro Kirk - .142 ISO, .175 xISO, .331 wOBA, .358 xwOBA
- Ernie Clement - .223 ISO, .138 xISO, .379 wOBA, .321 xwOBA
- David Schneider - .150 ISO, .218 xISO, .320 wOBA, .309 xwOBA
This is a tough spot for the Tigers, but they're getting Logan Gilbert out of Seattle. Gilbert has been worse on the road this year but the Tigers have struggled against righties over the past month. They rank 26th in OPS, 27th in wOBA, and 28th in wRC+ against righties while striking out a robust 27.4% of the time.Â
If you're stacking Tigers, Riley Greene, Kerry Carpenter, Spencer Torkelson, and Colt Keith is your priority stack.
