Our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.
Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!
Â
This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.
The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.
The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.
The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.
Tune into the MLB DFS Livestream at 5 PM ET to watch us break down today’s slate, give you last-minute advice, and answer any questions before locking in those lineups!

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers
Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups
Core MLB DFS Pitchers
Bryan Woo, Seattle Mariners
The first-time All-Star Bryan Woo highlights the top of today’s slate as your only $10k pitcher. He is at the top of a very ugly pitching slate. He is clearly the best pitcher on today’s slate, but he has to face a dangerous offense in the Yankees, which is finally scoring runs again. He has gone at least 6 innings in every single start this season and has at least 8 strikeouts in each of his last 3 starts. The Yankees don’t scare me enough to avoid Woo with the lack of options on the rest of the slate.Â
Michael Soroka, Washington Nationals
It was a rough start last time out against the Red Sox, but the Red Sox are demolishing absolutely everyone right now, so I give him a pass. He gets an easier task today going against the Cardinals, and I like how Soroka has been pitching. His curveball has been fantastic, and he has been consistently missing bats. He gives you strikeout upside, and I actually think the floor is reasonably high for him today.Â
Spencer Strider, Atlanta Braves
Strider is still not quite back to being his normal self still. We have seen flashes of it but the consistency is just not there yet. He is walking too many guys and also giving up qutie a few hits. The upside is still there though and he has the chance to pile up strikeouts. I would be more hesitant to pay up for him if you had cheaper options that were good, but those don’t exist so I am willing to take a shot on his upside against the Athletics today if you are nervous about Soroka or can’t afford Woo.Â

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters
Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.
Core MLB DFS Hitters
Jonathan Aranda, 1B Tampa Bay Rays
Walker Buehler has been absolutely terrible. He has been getting clobbered recently, especially by left-handers, which is why I am leaning towards Aranda over Yandy today (though both are good options). Lefties are slashing .333/.413/.491 against Buehler this season, and I think Aranda will be able to continue that punishment.Â
Romy Gonzalez, 1B/2B Boston Red Sox
The entire Red Sox offense is red hot right now, but Romy Gonzalez might be the most on fire of anyone. Over his last 10 games, he is slashing .459/.450/.946. In his last 5 games, he has recorded 11 hits, including 2 home runs, 2 triples, 8 runs scored, and 7 RBIs. He won’t stay this hot forever, but right now he can’t be stopped, and I am going to roll with it.Â
Jose Ramirez, 3B Cleveland Guardians
If I can only choose one hitter over 5K today, it is going to be Jose Ramirez. He has homers in 3 straight games and is just one of the best hitters in the game. Going against Jonathan Cannon and the White Sox, the only way he doesn’t do more damage is if they just don’t pitch to him at all.Â
Roman Anthony, OF Boston Red Sox
Romany Anthony has hits in 11 of his last 12 games. Over that stretch, he has slashed .392/.446/.549. It is with only 6 extra-base hits (5 doubles and 1 homer), but if you are watching him, every single ball is being hit hard, even his outs. He has looked incredible and I don’t think we get him at this low of a price for very long.Â
