Our expert analysis is here to guide you through the top pitchers, value plays, and stackable offenses to target.

Whether chasing big GPP prizes or grinding cash games, we’ve got you covered with insights tailored to today’s matchups. Let’s jump right into the key plays and strategies to dominate the slate!

This season's MLB DFS picks and playbook will consist of a pitcher and hitter core players section with written analysis, player pool grid and core stacks section.

The core player section should be used as a starting point for all lineups, you may not be able to use all players in the same lineup, but those players should be the building blocks for you on a given night.

The player pool grid will feature both players from the core player section along with additional plays to help you build a complete lineup. The grid will be broken into top priced players, mid-priced players and value tier players.

The stacks section will bring you are favorite lineups stacks for the day and which players we would look to include in those stacks based on matchups and pricing.

Recommended MLB DFS Starting Pitchers

Let's get into today's core pitching plays for our DFS lineups

Core MLB DFS Pitchers

Garrett Crochet, Boston Red Sox

Yes, the Yankees matchup is a scary one for any pitcher but Crochet is the highest rostered pitcher on both DraftKings and FanDuel tonight thanks to his elite strikeout upside and the win equity, especially with Ryan Yarbrough on the other side of this matchup.

Fading Crochet in tournaments could be the play with hopes that 25% of the field ends up taking a dive if he gets knocked around but, remember, Crochet gave up five runs against the Yankees in his most recent start and still came out of it with over 20 fantasy points on DK and 36 FP on FanDuel.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Los Angeles Dodgers

Pivoting off of Crochet leaves the rest of the chalk with Yamamoto. Though up against an elite pitcher in Logan Webb, Yamamoto has the easier of the two matchups, having to deal with just the Giants offense while Webb has to tame the Dodgers.

Yamamoto is coming off six shutout innings against the Cardinals where he struck out nine which is an impressive feat as the Cardinals are a team that do not strike out a ton.

Bryce Elder, Atlanta Braves

We need to watch the weather here but with the Braves at home against the Rockies and Elder coming off of a 12 strikeout game we really need to take a hard look here, especially on DraftKings where you need to start two pitchers.

We don't think of Elder as someone who has elite strikeout stuff but he does also have an eight strikeout game this year as well.

The Rockies are definitely team that presents another ceiling strikeout opportunity.

Luis Severino/Michael Wacha

I honestly can't decide which side of the matchup to go on. I think both have real cases to be come out of this game with a quality start and a win.

Severino has ELITE road numbers this season, posting an ERA under 1.00. While Wacha continues to just churn out quality outing after quality outing.

Recommended MLB DFS Hitters

Let's check out today's core plays to build our lineups around.

Core MLB DFS Hitters

Boston Red Sox vs Ryan Yarbrough

We just saw this matchup the other day and the Red Sox hung eight runs on Yarbrough over four innings. Yes, sometimes a pitcher facing a team twice in a row can have some advantage as they look to attack differently but the Red Sox have some guys on their roster that are there specifically to hit left-handed pitching with Rob Refsnyder actually leading off today and Romy Gonzalez in the lineup for Marcelo Mayer. Add in the fact that Abraham Toro is mashing lefties and that Trevor Story is also getting it done right now and this feels like another good spot to stack Boston.

Baltimore Orioles Lefties vs Jack Kochanowicz

Lefties are hitting .316 with a .535 slugging percentage and have a .399 wOBA off of Kochanowicz this season with him allowing 2.3 HR/9 to them.

If you aren't aware, the Orioles have A LOT of lefties in their lineup and when I say A LOT, I mean they could have upwards of seven left-handed hitters in their lineup tonight.

Let's hope the weather holds out for us here.

Atlanta Braves vs German Marquez

Another game where I'm just hoping for the weather to cooperate for us. Marquez has been trash for most of this season and the Braves lineup is starting to click with Ronald Acuna back at the top and Matt Olson finding the power stroke here once again.

A full Braves stack against Marquez could be the highest scoring stack of the slate…..weather pending.

Byron Buxton, Minnesota Twins

Enough of the full team stacks, and sure if you want to stack some Twins you certainly can, but I love some Buxton here tonight with the Twins righty hitting .303 with a .273 ISO and .398 wOBA against left-handed pitching this season.

Astros southpaw Colton Gordon could have his work cut out for him today in this matchup with righties hitting .313 with a .554 slugging percentage and a .376 wOBA against him.
