Another top 5 running back list and a lot of familiar names. Ezekiel Elliot, DeMarco Murray, Le’Veon Bell and David Johnson will continue to be mainstays on this list, because they are simply that good. Luckily for you fantasy owners who have any of those aforementioned players, a lot of them have some tantalizing matchups. Murray gets to face an Indianapolis run defense that can’t stop a nose bleed, while Bell gets to face the CLLLLLLLLLeveland Browns. Notice the 10 L’s in Cleveland. Another week, another opportunity to pick on some bad run defenses. Gotta love it.

Here are the top 5 running backs for Week 11 of the NFL season.

DeMarco Murray @ IND

The Colts have been gouged by opposing running backs and don’t you dare, even or a second, believe that since they slowed down Green Bay on the ground, all their run defense problems are nullified. WRONG. Green Bay has next to no rushing attack, so that was an outlier.  The Colts are allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs and Tennessee continues to let Murray run wild. He’s easily an RB1 in Week 11.

Le'Veon Bell @ CLE

Well, Cleveland isn’t on a bye, which means let’s attack their defense! Bell, along with Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, should feast on this defense and Bell finally got the touchdown monkey off his back. Expect him to find the end zone at least once on Sunday, following his two-touchdown performance against the Cowboys in Week 10.

Ezekiel Elliott vs. BAL

The Ravens have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, but who cares? It’s Zeke! At this point, he’s match-up proof and he gets it done on a weekly basis. His skillset and elite offensive line is a big reason as to why he’s run for 90 or more yards in each of his last seven games. RB1 ladies and gentlemen.

LeGarrette Blount @ SF

Blount is a touchdown machine who continues to produce despite plenty of critics. He’s received at least 18 carries in all but two games this season and even with Tom Brady under center, Blount continues to receive steady work. Blowouts are his favorite, because these are the games in which he gets a lot of work. He’s scored eight touchdowns in his last five games, making him an RB1 in all formats against a porous San Francisco run defense.

David Johnson @ MIN

Before Minnesota’s bye, they stopped everyone. Now, they can’t stop anyone. Opposing running backs have combined for at least 95 rushing yards in each of the past four games and Johnson is one of the best in the league. He’s received at least 15 touches in each game this season and given Minnesota’s recent defensive woes, 125 total yards is easily in play for the star back.
