How in the world are we entering the month of June and the tenth week of the fantasy baseball season? There are game-changing fantasy additions all throughout the waiver wire at each and every position. There haven’t been as many call-ups this week as there have been in weeks past, but some elite rookies such as Colt Emerson and Walbert Urena are still largely available on the waiver wire.

Some of the top waiver wire additions are Jackson Holliday, JJ Bleday, Colt Emerson, and Cade Cavalli. Lets dive into the names we’re looking to add off of the waiver wire and if you head into the Fantasy Alarm discord, we can talk about who you’re looking to drop for them!

Top Waiver Wire Targets at a Glance

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Infielders

Jackson Holliday, Baltimore Orioles

45% Rostered on Yahoo Fantasy

FAAB - 7-8%

It’s been a really good start to the 2026 campaign for Jackson Holliday as he’s been a 126 wRC+ player through his first 11 games. Usually power is zapped a bit after hamate injuries, but he’s already hit two homers and has a .200 ISO, which bodes well for the remainder of the year. He was three homers and steals away from being a 20-20 guy a year ago and considering how bad second base is, Holliday has a lot of fantasy value moving forward. His walk rate is way up this year and if that is sustainable, then a .340 OBP is incredibly valuable.

Colt Emerson, Seattle Mariners

24% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 5-6%

It hasn’t been the most rock solid fantasy start for Colt Emerson, but he has flashed the power that helped fast track him to a top-10 prospect in the entire sport. He’s hit two bombs already and everything’s been for extra-bases as six of his nine hits have been doubles, triples, or home runs. The home runs have both come at home, one of the hardest places to homer in, showing off what his upside is. Emerson is already shortstop eligible everywhere and is nearing third base eligible everywhere else.

Curtis Mead, Washington Nationals

17% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 3-4%

So the year of Curtis Mead is upon us I see. Everything looks really good on the surface and under the hood to boot.

It’s been the month of May that has helped Mead’s numbers pop. He’s posted a .277/.420/.538 slash with a .262 ISO and .420 wOBA. He has first base and third base eligibility and is hitting in the middle of the order that’s scored the most runs in baseball during the month of May.

Spencer Horwitz, Pittsburgh Pirates

17% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 1-2%

The Pirates have deployed Spencer Horwitz in the leadoff spot a lot lately and he’s been fantastic setting the table for Pittsburgh. He has a .333/.438/.556 slash atop the order and there’s no reason to believe he doesn’t stick there with how well he’s playing. Horwitz is hitting .292 with a near .400 OBP up this point. He’s always been a guy that can help ratios because he has an elite batters eye. He has posted a .341 OBP or better every season of his career up to this point.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Outfielders

JJ Bleday, Cincinnati Reds

42% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 6-7%

There’s literally nothing to dislike about JJ Bleday right about now. He’s on an absolute tear. Bleday has hit nine home runs and has driven in 24 runs through his first 29 games and is hitting a robust .295.

He’s hitting in the middle of the Reds lineup and gets to hit in one of the best ballparks across the majors. Bleday has never been THIS good, but the numbers suggest this is sustainable and he’s still available in over 50% in Yahoo! Fantasy leagues.

Sam Antonacci, Chicago White Sox

25% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 5-6%

If you’re looking for speed, Sam Antonacci is your guy. Against right-handed pitching, the White Sox are hitting Antonacci at the top of their order and through 41 games, he’s stolen eight bases. Things have drastically changed for him from March/April to May.

  • Mar/Apr: .225 AVG, .347 OBP, 0 SB
  • May: .309 AVG, .393 OBP, 8 SB

He can be played in multiple different spots on all platforms and he’s going to continue to swipe a bunch of bags and get on base all the time.

Luke Raley, Seattle Mariners

25% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 3-4%

I mean, I’m not sure how long Luke Raley’s power will sustain but my word has he been an absolute free source of home runs to this point in the year. He’s already hit 13 home runs in 53 games and is basically only playing against right-handed hurlers. His .592 SLG% and .313 ISO are both career-high marks. He strikes out a lot and isn’t a very big on-base guy, so if you’re rostering Raley, you’re in it for the power.

Jordan Lawler, Arizona Diamondbacks

6% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 1-2%

The Diamondbacks are about to have Jordan Lawler back as he’s currently on his rehab assignment. Lawler had JUST started figuring things out at the major league level before his wrist injury, slashing .333/.400/.556 through his first six games.

He graduated from prospect ranking, but before his call-up, he was a top-20 prospect across the entire league and he’s finally given us a little glimpse at why. Lawler’s a stash play while he’s on his rehab assignment as he should be back soon.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pitchers

Gregory Soto, Pittsburgh Pirates

45% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 6-7%

The top waiver wire add for relief help this week is Gregory Soto, who is the man in the ninth inning for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He’s still under 50% on Yahoo! Fantasy leagues and has three saves just this week. Soto is not only converting saves, but he’s missing a ton of bats to boot. He has a 30.5% K-rate and a 10.4% SwStr, which is actually lower than his career mark and suggests the strikeouts could get even better from here.

Cade Cavalli, Washington Nationals

35% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 8-10%

Things are turning around for the better with Cade Cavalli, as he’s been dealin’ of late. He’s fired off three straight quality starts and has 24 strikeouts over those 19.1 innings. Cavalli has an 11% SwStr and 25.4% K-rate on the year and those two marks should continue to trend upwards because of the whiffs he’s generating. Being this widely available despite absolutely carving opposing lineups is a crime.

Walbert Urena, Los Angeles Angels

18% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 5-6%

The only thing not to like about Walbert Urena at this point is the walk rate but man if he figures that out, we’re going to be cookin’ with GAS. Look at this (mostly) beautiful page;

Urena has a LOT of Jose Soriano in him with the elevated fastball rate velocity, sinker usage, and groundball rate. Although he only has a 21% K-rate this year, his 11.8% SwStr rate suggests he’s going to start missing many more bats in the near future. I’m very interested in Urena for the rest of the season.

David Sandlin, Chicago White Sox

8% Rostered on Yahoo! Fantasy

FAAB - 2-3%

It was a fantastic debut for David Sandlin and he pitches on Monday against the same Twins team that he faced last week. He didn’t miss any bats in his debut but has missed a TON of bats at the minor league level, so we’ll see if he can turn that into more whiffs at the major league level. Sandlin’s fastball velocity jumped from 96.5 MPH at Triple-A to 97.7 in his debut, which is a great sign moving forward.
