Dansby Swanson had both of the Braves' extra-base hits Friday against the Phillies, delivering a homer and a double off Zach Eflin.
There was nothing else encouraging for the Braves to take away from tonight, but it'd be great if this got Swanson's bat going. He came into the game at .204/.280/.319 with 37 strikeouts in 125 plate appearances.

Jack Flaherty was brilliant Friday against the Rockies, allowing just three hits over seven scoreless innings as part of a 5-0 victory.
Everything was coming up Flaherty in this one, as he also slugged a solo homer in the third inning. The Cardinals' ace struck out six and walked one, lowering his ERA to 2.83 in the process. He now leads the majors with six wins, if you're into that. Flaherty has justified his early draft position in mixed leagues and will try to keep that going in a start against the division rival Brewers next week.

A. Gomber - SP
Austin Gomber was hit hard by his former team on Friday, allowing five runs over five innings in a loss to the Cardinals.
Gomber gave up a two-run homer to Harrison Bader in the second inning and a solo shot to opposing pitcher Jack Flaherty in the third. The Cardinals added two more runs in the fifth before Gomber was pulled from the game. The southpaw struck out seven and didn't walk anyone, but that doesn't provide much solace to those who might have tried starting him in this one in fantasy leagues. Gomber holds a 6.35 ERA on the year and is awful tough to trust.

H. Bader - CF
Harrison Bader went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's win over the Rockies.
Bader took Austin Gomber deep in the second inning, which was more than enough offense for Jack Flaherty and the Cardinals' bullpen. He now has three homers in his last six games after coming back from a forearm injury. Bader has always struggled to hit for average in the majors, but his power and speed justifies a spot on rosters in deeper mixed fantasy leagues.

I. Díaz - 2B
Isan Diaz went 2-for-3 and hit his first career grand slam Friday as the Marlins topped the Brewers 6-1.
The homer off Patrick Weigel was Diaz's second in seven games since taking over at second base for the injured Jazz Chisholm Jr. There's little doubt that Chisholm will get his job back once he returns, which could make things interesting if Diaz continues to produce. The Marlins would have the option of using Diaz at third and Brian Anderson in the outfield if they'd like.

T. Rogers - SP
Trevor Rogers pitched five innings of one-run ball and struck out six Friday in a win over the Brewers.
Rogers didn't use the slider much tonight, as it turned out the fastball and changeup were enough to keep the Brewers lineup quiet. He's struck out at least six batters in each of his seven starts to date, and he's managed to get four wins even though he hasn't been allowed to extend his pitch count at all; his high total for the season is 95.

K. Wong - 2B
Kolten Wong went 0-for-3 with a walk Friday and is 4-for-26 so far this month.
The Brewers are struggling to score runs of late, so they could try messing with the lineup some. Wong has hit leadoff in all 20 of his starts this year, but with his OBP sliding lately, perhaps they could drop him and try Lorenzo Cain and Luis Urias at the top of the order.

Nolan Arenado went 2-for-4 with a run scored in his first game against the Rockies on Friday.
Not only was it his first game against his former team, but he faced the pitcher who was the centerpiece of the deal for Colorado. Arenado poked a ground-rule double to the opposite field in the second inning and added a single in the eighth. After a hit of an underwhelming April with his new team, Arenado is off to a hot start this month, hitting .400 (10-for-25) through seven games.
