Interleague Schedule

Here is a look at which inter-league games are on the schedule for Week 12 highlighting which National League teams and players will benefit from the addition of the designated hitter to their lineup as well as who in the American League will be affected by the loss of the DH with game(s) on the road in a NL home ballpark.

NL Team’s Getting a DH

Padres at Mariners (2x Monday-Tuesday) not much to gain from here especially since King Felix will be making Wednesday’s start.

Giants at White Sox (2x Tuesday-Wednesday)- CWS starting two lefties in John Danks and Chris Sale so might see Posey DH and switch-hitting Hector Sanchez catch.

AL Team’s Losing a DH

Astros at Nationals (2x Tuesday-Wednesday) Chris Carter will likely be the odd man out again this week as Houston has another 2-game series versus a team from the NL for the second consecutive week.

Mariners at Padres (Thursday) It just one game and it’s the Mariners, so who ever loses out should not have much affect on your fantasy roster(s).

Blue Jays at Reds (3x Friday-Sunday) Would expect Edwin Encarcion to play some first base in order to keep his AL home run leading bat in the lineup which would lead to less at-bats for Adam Lind whom weekly league players should bench in Week 12.

I left Waino out of the rankings due to his uncertainity and recommend you monitor his status closer to your lineup lock time.
