This past week will go down as one of the more exciting weeks of baseball prior to fantasy baseball championship time. We saw another prospect pumped up the pipeline to the big leagues in Astros 1B Jon Singleton who greeted us all with a fence clearing shot in his first game. We were also given the old rope-a-dope by another possible prospect callup in Pirates outfielder Gregory Polanco. Speaking of prospects, you should of gotten your fill of them if you watched the MLB Draft and checked out our pick-by-pick analysis, (just type in drafted player’s name in the search box on our homepage). And finally, Week 10 also brought us the return of the co-favorite for AL Rookie of the Year in White Sox 1B Jose Abreu, along with some other veterans who made their return way off of the disabled list. But enough about last week, you came here to get an edge on your competition for the week ahead so let’s delve into what is upcoming for Week 11 of the Fantasy Baseball season and how you can take advantage of it.

Interleague Schedule

Here is a look at which interleague games are on the schedule for Week 11, a fairly light week, but not a favorable one for a couple of players in the AL West.

NL Team’s Getting a DH

Marlins at Rangers (2x Tuesday-Wednesday) RHP Colby Lewis and his 5.77 ERA (4.45 xFIP), so makes for nice day to stack/start/stream Marlin bats. Not so much on Wednesday as Yu Darvish is the Rangers scheduled starter. Jarrod Saltalamacchia could get the DH spot if he doesn’t go on the 15-day DL as he doesn’t look as if he will be ready to play on Sunday when he is eligible to come off the 7-day DL.

Cardinals at Rays (Wednesday) two of the most struggling teams in baseball matched up here. Regardless of who serves as the Cards DH it likely guarantees that Oscar Taveras will be in the lineup.

Diamondbacks at Astros (2x Wednesday-Thursday) LHP Dallas Keuchel on Wednesday (RHH Cody Ross almost certain to be in the lineup) and RHP Scott Feldman Thursday (LHH Eric Chavez likely candidate to DH, Ross could still play in the outfield).

AL Team’s Losing a DH

Astros at Diamondbacks (2x Monday-Tuesday) Chris Carter and/or Jon Singleton might lose some at-bats.

Angels at Braves (3x Friday-Sunday) C.J. Cron and Raul Ibanez odd men out this week so look for alternative option in your weekly leagues.
