Week 7 is here, and it’s awfully hard to believe we’re already nearing the halfway point of the 2026 NFL season. But this week delivers another 10-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. We do get the blitz-heavy Minnesota Vikings back from their Bye week in addition to the Miami Dolphins offense, which is a team we typically deploy DST’s against to help our NFL DFS lineups.
We do see teams like the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Washington Commanders get the week off while the primetime slates and the weekly NFL game in Europe limit us to a 10-game slate once again. But we have done very well so far this season with some nice DFS returns, and we’ll keep that momentum going for Week 7.
This 10-game slate does offer up some great DST’s for our winning NFL DFS lineups, and usually around this time of year, we tend to see pricing adjust. But for the DST position, we’re seeing some sites struggle to adapt. DraftKings once again refuses to price a DST close to $4,000, so we have some high-ceiling options available to us at a reasonable cost. And we have four games on the main slate with implied game totals under 43 points, so we’ll be sure to consider DSTs in those matchups as well. Let’s take a look at the top NFL DFS Week 7 DST picks!
NFL DFS Week 7 DST Picks
Minnesota Vikings – DraftKings: $3,500 | FanDuel: $4,800
I’m trying not to get too cute with my obsession over the Vikings DST. I know I can’t always plug them in as the Play of the Week for every edition of this article. And truthfully, I thought they should be included in the values section further below because they’re only $3,500 on DraftKings when they should be $4,000. But I’ll spare you the gimmicks and theatrics and just go through the motions of mentioning their floor/ceiling combination for our NFL DFS Week 7 DST picks.
The Week 7 main slate has plenty of games with low implied game totals. As the Vikings come off their Bye week, they’re 6.5-point favorites over the Indianapolis Colts, who just fired General Manager Chris Ballard. The Colts appear to be in fire sale/tank mode after last week’s loss to the lowly Tennessee Titans. And I couldn’t have imagined a worse matchup for a team in shambles than one against the Vikings, who will have fresh legs.
The Colts have an implied team total of just 17.5 points, and they’ll be facing the Vikings defense that ranks first in blitz rate (63.7%), pressure rate (48.6%), non-blitz pressure rate (50.0%), and sack rate (9.5%), according to Sam Hoppen. The worst fantasy output for the Vikings DST this season has been eight points, while they could easily eclipse double-digit fantasy points for the fourth time in this matchup.
Houston Texans – DraftKings: $3,400 | FanDuel: $5,000
The Texans are the biggest favorites on the entire Week 7 slate. They’re the only team favored by double digits (-10.5), and they’ll be hosting the New York Giants, who have an implied team total of just 16 points as they have decided to start J.J. McCarthy at quarterback over Jameis Winston. In his brief career, McCarthy has completed just 57.2% of his pass attempts with a dozen passing touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
McCarthy does possess some rushing upside, which the Texans will have to account for. But the G-Men are also a bit beat up on the offensive line. Andrew Thomas is dealing with a groin injury while Jermaine Eluemunor is battling a calf injury. Both players did not practice Wednesday, and both were limited on Thursday. Entering Week 7, the Giants offensive line ranks 24th in unblocked pressure rate allowed (11.1%), 21st in quick pressure rate allowed (20.4%), and 28th in average time to pressure (2.45 seconds).
The Texans have a bottom-five blitz rate (22.6%), but they’re 12th in pressure rate (41.2%) and 10th in sack rate (7.4%), per Sam Hoppen, and those numbers are a testament to Will Anderson Jr.’s ability to make big defensive plays on his own as a disruptor. After not recording a sack last week in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars, I expect the Texans to give McCarthy and the Giants fits on Sunday.
Cleveland Browns – DraftKings: $2,800 | FanDuel: $4,600
You can make an argument that both DST’s are in play for this AFC matchup as the Brownies travel to the Music City to square off against the Tennessee Titans. This game has the lowest implied total for Week 7 (37.5 points), giving the Browns an implied team total of 19.5 points while the Titans are at 18 points.
This is largely targeting the poor Titans offense. Cam Ward has not done much to develop his game in his second season. He’s thrown an interception in four straight games and only has four touchdown passes on the year with minimal rushing upside. The Browns pass rush ranks top five in pressure rate (46.1%) and sack rate (8.2%), so it is surprising to see them priced under $3,000 on DraftKings in a very friendly matchup. But because of that, the Browns are going to garner some ownership. Playing DSTs against the Titans offense is the perceived “layup” each week, and it’s no different for our NFL DFS Week 7 DST picks.
Best NFL DFS DST Values for Week 7
Best DraftKings DST Value – New York Jets; $2,900
This part of the article gets a little weird. I know the Jets are technically more expensive than the Browns on DraftKings, but I also view a “value” play on DraftKings as any DST under $3,000. And while the Jets are the seventh-most expensive DST on DraftKings, they’re the second-most expensive option on FanDuel behind the Houston Texans. So on FanDuel, I’d much rather take the $100 savings and just go with the Vikings since there isn’t much value to be had on that site, but I digress.
The Jets host the Miami Dolphins this week, who are coming off their Bye week, so they’re well rested. But kicking your feet up for a week doesn’t necessarily mean you’re due for an offensive turnaround. The Dolphins have been terrible in so many ways. Sure, Malik Willis has rushing upside as a quarterback, but he also lost a fumble in each of his last three games heading into the Bye week, and he’s only thrown two touchdowns on the year while completing just 56.2% of his pass attempts.
The Dolphins offensive line ranks dead last in pressure rate allowed (48.8%) and success rate vs. blitzes (31.2%). The Jets enter Week 7 surprisingly ranking fourth in pressure rate (40.1%), and they’re sixth in sack rate (7.7%), so there’s a chance to make some noise against the Dolphins, and this DST correlates well with either Breece Hall or Braelon Allen depending on how inactives shake out for New York come Sunday.
Best FanDuel DST Value – Tampa Bay Buccaneers; $3,300
If you need a punt on either site this week, I think I can live with rostering the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and hope they can deliver maybe six-to-eight fantasy points. The Bucs do go on the road in this NFC South matchup against the Carolina Panthers, and this game has a fair game total of 44.5 points.
The Bucs defense is not among the elite options on the board, but if you have a roster you really like and don’t want to compromise or swap out any of your skill position players, then the Bucs are in play. They’ve returned at least five fantasy points in all but one game this year. And truthfully, there are some positives. In their last five games, they’ve only given up 350+ yards to the opposing offense just once. And only one quarterback (Dak Prescott) was able to throw for 250+ yards on them.
The Bucs surprisingly enter Week 7 ranking third in blitz rate (41.7%), but that hasn’t correlated to an elite pressure rate (30.0%). And while they did record five sacks last week, they didn’t get any in Weeks 4 and 5. The good news is that, while Carolina’s offense is capable of putting up points, their offensive line ranks 30th in pressure rate allowed (47.9%) and dead last in quick pressure rate allowed (25.6%), so if you absolutely have to find a punt option that is dirt cheap on DraftKings or FanDuel, I think the Bucs can do enough in this matchup to scrape up a few points for our NFL DFS lineups.
NFL DFS DST Fade for Week 7
San Francisco 49ers – DraftKings: $3,200 | FanDuel: $4,700
The 49ers are the fourth-most expensive DST on both DraftKings and FanDuel. After playing on Monday Night Football (at home) for Week 6, the 49ers now travel across the country for an early window game against the Atlanta Falcons. The short week is already a narrative I tend to lean into, and the fact they play in the early window gives me a little more conviction with this fade.
The 49ers are favored on the road for this matchup (-2.5), but this game does have one of the higher totals on the main slate. The Falcons still have an implied team total of 23.5 points, and last week we saw them rack up garbage time production in the fourth quarter with 16 points coming in the final 10 minutes of the game.
The “counting stats” for the 49ers don’t look that great when you examine the larger scope of their six-game sample size. They have 15 total sacks so far this year and seven takeaways. But five of those sacks and four of those takeaways came in their Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. And in half their games this year, they’ve recorded zero takeaways.
San Francisco has been a challenge to run on at times, but the Atlanta Falcons do have weapons at their disposal, and even if they’re coming up short offensively through two or three quarters, we saw just last week that this team can take advantage of garbage time and put up some production, so I have my concerns about San Francisco’s ceiling, especially without Nick Bosa.
NFL DFS Week 7 DST Play of the Week
Denver Broncos – DraftKings: $3,300 | FanDuel: $4,500
I love the pricing on both sites for the Denver Broncos as we close out the NFL DFS Week 7 DST picks. The Vikings and Texans are both tempting options to list in this section because you can simply hang your hat on the fact that they’re playing at home while the Broncos are on the road. But I expect ownership to come in lighter on Denver’s side, and they have arguably the same ceiling as those other two defenses. The Cardinals, despite playing at home, are 4.5-point underdogs, giving them an implied team total of 19.5 points.
The Broncos enter Week 7 with some injuries we want to monitor, but they do rank top 10 in blitz rate (37.6%), non-blitz pressure rate (40.4%), and sack rate (7.4%), while they rank 11th in both pressure rate (41.3%) and pressure-to-sack rate (18.0%). Credit to Arizona because their offensive line has arguably been in the top eight in the NFL in terms of pass protection. Even last week, the Los Angeles Rams were unable to sack Jacoby Brissett. But Brissett still has six interceptions on the year, and it’s possible the Broncos get Pat Surtain II back for the matchup while Talanoa Hufanga is a bit of a longer shot to play.
Overall, I like the trends the Broncos carry coming into this game. In each of their last two games, they’ve forced three takeaways and five sacks. In three of their last four games, they’ve returned at least a dozen fantasy points, so they are rounding into form nicely, and it’ll help if they can get some of their best defensive players back from injury.
