Fantasy Baseball Daily League Sleepers and Value Plays for May 22th
by Michael Pichan (@FantasyNomad)
Hiroki Kuroda dominated the Orioles in their last meeting.[/caption]- P Hiroki Kuroda Yankees ($7,300, 21% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now ): Kuroda pitched a complete game shut-out in his last outing versus the Orioles. (Game Time 7:00 pm est)
- OF Cody Ross Diamondbacks ($6,796, 6.8% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now): The right-handed hitting Ross is 8-for-27 (.296) with two home runs and a double off of the lefty Jorge De La Rosa in his career. (Game Time 3:10 pm est)
- OF Michael Morse Mariners Phillies ($6,400, 9.8% of cap at Fan Throwdown - Play Now): Another righty/lefty matchup that looks good in a small sample size as Morse is 3-for-5 off the lefty C.J. Wilson. (Game Time: 7:05 pm est)
- DH/C Victor Martinez Tigers ($2,900, 8.3% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now): VMart has mashed against Ubaldo in his career going 6-for-18 (.333) with two home runs and a double, not bad in just 18 at-bats. (Game Time 7:05 pm est)
- C Kelly Shoppach Mariners ($51,000, 5.1% of cap at Daily Joust - Play Now): A lot of big name catchers may get the day off due to the quick game time turnaround from Tuesday night to Wednesday afternoon, so if you are looking to save money go shop'n with Kelly who is 3-for-7 with a home run and three walks off of C.J. Wilson. (Game Time 7:05 pm est)
- 2B Howie Kendrick Angels ($7,300, 7.3% of cap at Draft Day - Play Now): Howie Kendrick  has 11 hits in his last 24 at-bats (.458) with a home run and three doubles. (Game Time 7:05 pm est)
- 3B Mike Moustakas Royals ($5,322, 5.3% of cap at Draft Street - Play Now):  Moose Tacos is playing exactly how I imagine Moose Tacos would taste, turrible. That said I believe this is the game where we see some production from the lefty Moustakas against the struggling righty Jordan Lyles. Moustakas went 1-for-3 with a double in their last matchup. (Game Time 8:10 pm est)
- SS Jhonny Peralta Tigers ($3,500, 10.0.% of cap at Fan Duel - Play Now): Peralta is 7-for-23 with a home run and a total of five extra base hits and four walks in his career versus Ubaldo Jimenez. (Game Time 7:05 pm est)
Team to Stack: If you are looking for  team to make mini-stacks from consider the abundant of left-handed hitting Yankees vs Orioles RHP Jason Hammel  or the Royals vs Astros Jordan Lyles and his 6.63 ERA and his nearly 16% HR/FB rate.
