This NFL season is quickly turning into a horror film as the audience waits to see what member of the group is going to run into the villain next and meet their untimely end.  In Week 11 we saw more key fantasy players suffer injuries that will end their 2015 season and a few others who may find themselves out for the next few weeks at minimum in a time where fantasy playoffs are nearing and every healthy body matters.  With all that said let’s take a look at what players are must adds off the waiver wire heading into Week 12.

– Note the FAAB Bids are based off of a $100 budget.

Quarterbacks

Brian Hoyer, HOU – It seems like many fantasy owners cut bait on Hoyer after his concussion in Week 10 against the Bengals but he has been cleared to play in Week 12 and will draw the New Orleans Saints, who have been absolutely atrocious on defense this season and while they may have gone and fired their defensive coordinator over the bye week the talent in the secondary is still very suspect.  Hoyer will have his full complement of weapons on Sunday with DeAndre Hopkins, Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts all healthy and ready to torch this defense.  If you find yourself in need of a QB or just want to roll the dice with this juicy matchup Hoyer is certainly the play.

FAAB Bid- $5-$10

Jameis Winston, TB – There will be plenty of hype for Winston in Week 12 as he is coming off a five-touchdown performance in Week 11 and while it’s highly unlikely he puts up those types of numbers again this season he does have a favorable matchup against the Colts and a healthy receiving corps.  Winston had gone two games without throwing for a touchdown prior to last Sunday’s output so there is certainly risk here with the rookie but with the possibility that the Colts could be without Vontae Davis who left last week’s game with an injury would leave Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson dealing with some favorable coverage packages which can lead to big games given the talent they both possess.

FAAB Bid- $5-$10

Johnny Manziel, CLE – The Browns will be coming off their bye in Week 12 and face a Ravens team that is decimated with injuries, will be playing on a short week and have been awful against the pass this season.  Manziel threw for a season-high 372 yards against the Steelers in Week 10 and with a week to prepare for a home matchup he should be in line for another solid performance against Baltimore who has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.

FAAB Bid-$5-$10

Running Backs

Javorius Allen, BAL – Allen will be replacing Justin Forsett in the Ravens backfield after Forsett broke his arm in Week 11.  In relief of Forsett, Allen carried the ball 22 times for 67 yards and added five catches for 48 yards.  Allen draws a favorable matchup against a Browns defense that has allowed the 11th-most fantasty point to opposing running backs this season, though with Matt Schaub now at quarterback following Joe Flacco’s season ending injury the Brows could look to stack the box and make Schaub beat them.  Allen is a must add for any Forsett owner as he is guaranteed touches and a lot of them for the remainder of the season.

FAAB Bid – 100% for Forsett owners/anybody in serious need of a RB, he will be worth it this late in the season.

Thomas Rawls, SEA – Rawls started in place of the injured Marshawn Lynch and ran all over the 49ers defense for 209 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries while adding three catches for 46 yards and another touchdown.  With news that Marshawn Lynch may not play again this season due to a hernia, Rawls becomes the No. 1 player to add this week as he has proven already this year that when given the full workload he is a monster of a fantasy running back.  A Week 12 matchup against the Steelers await Rawls and they do boast the No. 1 fantasy defense against opposing running backs this season but Rawls still needs to be played given the high volume of touches he is likely going to receive.

FAAB Bid- 100% – Will be worth every penny given the game plan in Seattle.

Tevin Coleman, ATL –  Everything is coming full circle for Coleman after he opened the season as the Falcons' starting running back only to see an injury sideline him and open the door for Devonta Freeman to become the No. 1 fantasy running back and push Coleman to the bench even once he was healthy.  Freeman suffered a concussion in Week 11 and was unable to return which thrusted Coleman back into the lead back spot for Atlanta where he carried the ball 17 times for 48 yards against the Colts.  The reports on Freeman’s concussion are encouraging and it’s possible he doesn’t even miss any time but if you are an owner and Coleman is a free agent he should be grabbed.

FAAB Bid- $10-$15

Matt Jones, WSH- Jones was a popular waiver add heading into Week 11 and he laid a big egg against the Panthers as he carried five times for zero yards and added just two catches for 12 yards despite Alfred Morris going down with an injury early in the game.  Morris is supposedly dealing with a rib injury which has him questionable for Washington’s Week 12 matchup against the Giants who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs this season and would provide a good matchup for Jones as long as his team does not fall behind too quickly to get him involved in the game plan.

FAAB Bid- $10-$15

Wide Receivers

Devin Funchess, CAR – Many had hoped Funchess was going to be the guy after Kelvin Benjamin suffered a torn ACL during the preseason but that expectation was just too great for the rookie to handle right away and owners quickly cut bait after the likes of Philly Brown and Ted Ginn Jr. began seeing looks over him.  Over the last three weeks, however, Funchess has begun to find a rhythm in the offense, having caught nine passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns.  Funchess is a big-time matchup problem for most defensive backs and linebackers due to his size and downfield speed ability which is something Newton should look to take advantage of since he has the ability to be the No. 1 receiver on the team as they head into the playoffs.

FAAB Bid- $10-$15

Marquess Wilson, CHI – Wilsons’s value depends solely on the health of Alshon Jeffery as when he is out of the lineup Wilson becomes Jay Cutler’s No. 1 receiving option.  In Week 11 Wilson caught four passes on seven targets for 102 yards against a tough Broncos defense.  Things get a little better in Week 12 as the Bears will face the Packers on Thanksgiving but Wilson’s value again depends on whether or not Alshon Jeffery will play so I wouldn’t overspend on him.

FAAB Bid- $5-$10

Leonard Hankerson, ATL – Hankerson returned to the Falcons lineup on Sunday after missing the previous three weeks with a hamstring injury and returned to being Matt Ryan’s No. 2 receiver.  Hankerson caught four passes on seven targets for 36 yards and a touchdown and should figure to be a key part of the Falcons' passing attack going forward.  As teams focus on shutting down Julio Jones, Hankerson should be able to put up solid fantasy numbers in most formats.  A tough matchup does await the Falcons in Week 12, however, as they run up against the Vikings who have allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers this season.

FAAB Bid- $10-$15

Tight Ends

Crockett Gillmore, BAL – If you aren’t on the Gillmore train by now I am not sure what is taking you so long after the Ravens' tight end turned in yet another solid fantasy performance.  While detractors will definitely point to the fact that Matt Schaub is now at quarterback in Baltimore it should be noted that Joe Flacco himself wasn’t having a great season by any means and Gillmore should be a safety net for Schaub who will try and use these next few weeks as an audition for a starting job somewhere in 2016.  A favorable matchup awaits Gillmore in Week 12 as the Ravens face a Browns defense that has allowed the 16th-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this year.

FAAB Bid- $10-$15

Vernon Davis, DEN – It’s been a few weeks since Davis was traded to the Broncos, however, his production like the majority of the Broncos' receiving group suffered due to the struggles of Peyton Manning. With Brock Osweiler now taking over at quarterback the Broncos' passing attack should have new life and with it Davis turned in his best game of the season, catching six passes for 68 yards.  A matchup against the Patriots awaits the Broncos in Week 12 and Davis could pose a matchup problem if New England is unable to get Jamie Collins back on the field who is the only player with the size to match up with Davis.

FAAB Bid- $5-$10

Kyle Rudolph, MIN – Rudolph is coming off maybe the best game of his season as he caught six passes for 106 yards and a touchdown against the Packers.  The rest of Rudolph’s season has been pretty uninspiring as the Vikings' offense solely focuses around Adrian Peterson and the running game but when healthy in years past Rudolph has proven to be a more than serviceable tight end and maybe after this breakout performance he and Teddy Bridgewater will finally be on the same page.  In Week 12 the Vikings face off against the Falcons who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends and should be a matchup Rudolph can exploit if Bridgewater is willing to look his way.
