Thursday’s PrizePicks features the return of the LCK, with two solid match-ups in AFS vs DK and HLE vs DRX, favored towards DK and HLE respectively. The LPL has the most one sided match-up in RNG vs TT, where RNG is likely to obliterate TT.
PrizePicks Prop Selections
Royal Never Give Up v Thunder Talk
Xiaopeng (TT) - Projected Kills: 5.5 - UNDER
While Xiaopeng is the strongest point on ThunderTalk without a doubt, he’s still up against what’s likely the strongest team in the league currently in RNG. Wei and Cryin are still question marks on the squad, but with Xiaohu and their bottom lane returning to form, the side lane pressure should inhibit any of Xiaopeng’s early game plays. If Xiaopeng can pull out a good performance against RNG, I’ll be convinced he’s the real deal. For now though, he’s a solid enough jungler- but nowhere near the caliber of a star like Wei.
Royal Never Give Up v Thunder Talk
SamD (TT) - Projected Kills: 4.5 - UNDER
TT’s bottom lane is the weakest in the league, and probably the weakest in all of the tier 1 tournaments. SamD and Pudding are horrible, whereas Gala and Ming are coming off an international title in MSI. SamD rarely breaks 5 kills over two games, and against a really strong team like RNG, I can’t see him running up 5.
Hanwha Life Esports v DRX
Chovy (HLE) - Projected Kills: 6.5 - OVER
While HLE may not be capable of reaching play-offs this split, their mid laner Chovy is still the star of the show much of the time, and their new jungler in Willer is seemingly an upgrade relative to both YoHan and Arthur before him. DRX is dead in the play-off race, and HLE should look to play through mid against DRX’s counterpart in Jett to knock off an easy victory to keep their dreams alive.
