Thursday’s LPL and LCK slates features Liiv Sandbox likely to beat down the relatively mediocre Hanwha Life, while EDG and LNG face off against one of the most pivotal match-ups the league has faced yet. Damwon KIA looks to stomp out Fredit BRION, and likewise with Rare Atom versus Invictus Gaming. ThunderTalk and Ultra Prime face off in a low tier match-up, which is favored towards Ultra Prime.
PrizePicks Prop Selections
Hanwha Life Esports v Liiv Sandbox
Prince (LSB) - Projected Kills: 7.5 - OVER
LSB is currently on the largest winning streak in the LCK, and for good reason. The team has finally fit its pieces together: Summit and Croco look strong, Fate is pulling his weight, and Prince and Kellin are a very strong bottom lane in their own right- HLE has been improving, but will be unlikely to close the distance to play-offs this split, with LSB’s Prince likely to be the one to finish the job.
Invictus Gaming v Rare Atom
FoFo (RA) - Projected Kills: 8.5 - OVER
Rookie has been having one of the worst splits of his career- if not the worst, combined with the fact that RA’s mid laner has been instrumental in their success as a squad. FoFo is one of the best laners in the entire league, and has raised RA to title contending status. His opponent in Rookie has been looking weak, and their jungler XUN is unlikely to assist the IG mid laner against FoFo, who can take advantage of his leads in teamfights.
LNG Esports v EDward Gaming
Scout (EDG) - Projected Kills: 7.5 - OVER
Icon is the weakest link on LNG Esports, whereas Scout is an all around strong player, and one who plays for his teammates, alongside a capable carry in his role. Icon primarily plays for his jungler and Tarzan- and rightfully so, Tarzan is one of the strongest junglers in the league, but Icon forcing resources into him has a negative impact on his own game, and capabilities to punish Scout in lane, allowing him to scale freely to dominating teamfights and picking up plenty of kills.
