Thursday’s LPL and LCK slates features Liiv Sandbox likely to beat down the relatively mediocre Hanwha Life, while EDG and LNG face off against one of the most pivotal match-ups the league has faced yet. Damwon KIA looks to stomp out Fredit BRION, and likewise with Rare Atom versus Invictus Gaming. ThunderTalk and Ultra Prime face off in a low tier match-up, which is favored towards Ultra Prime.
PrizePicks Prop Selections
Liiv Sandbox v KT Rolster
Summit (LSB) - Projected Kills: 5.5 - OVER
The return of Summit has been one of the most interesting story lines in the LCK this year. LSB sit atop the standings in the league, and while I don’t expect them to finish #1 in play-offs, they are likely to hold the spot going into the postseason. Doran is one of the weakest top laners in the league, while Summit has been back in force for LSB
Liiv Sandbox v KT Rolster
FATE (LSB) - Projected Kills: 6.5 - OVER
While FATE isn’t a standout on his squad, he’s a decent enough mid laner with a high enough ceiling. He works well with Croco, and he mostly plays to support his strong side lanes through his solid rotations. 7 kills should be easy against an underwhelming KT, especially with the support of his squad across the 2 game period- 3.5 kills per game seems more than reasonable for the middle laner.
LNG Esports v Suning Gaming
Icon (LNG) - Projected Kills: 6.5 - OVER
While Icon isn’t a standout of his role, a three game span should be a long enough trek for LNG to hit 7 kills for the mid laner, especially since LNG is likely to take at least 1 game off of Suning- if not take the entire series. Icon is a decent enough mid laner, especially against a passive player like Angel. I expect him to work well with Tarzan and secure the win for LNG, and a solid 7 kill pick-up.
