LCK and LPL continue their runs on Thursday, with Nongshim and KT Rolster and a strong GenG vs a comparably weak DRX. In China, two easy match ups are played, with JDG strongly favored over ThunderTalk, and Rare Atom likely to stomp out LGD.

Pyosik (DRX) - Projected Fantasy Score: 11.5 - OVER
I don’t think DRX will come away with the win on Thursday, but Pyosik is the saving grace of an otherwise underwhelming DRX after their entire roster fell apart. Chovy, Deft, and Keria alongside Pyosik used to comprise one of the most promising young rosters of Korea before their dissolution, and their new rookies haven’t been as competitive relative to the other LCK players. Pyosik is capable of operating in spite of this, and while I think DRX will lose, Pyosik nearly always puts in work.
KT Rolster v Nongshim RedForce
Doran (KT) - Projected Fantasy Score: 14.5 - UNDER
Doran has been a weak top laner across his career. His debut into LCK occurred because he “literally was not Sword” which was unironically the bar at one point. Rich has been a stronger player on Nongshim, and I don’t foresee Doran doing well in the match-up, even if KT do manage to take away the win. Top laners just don’t accumulate many kills or assists, so I’m resolute on this prediction.
KT Rolster v Nongshim RedForce
Peanut (NF) - Projected Fantasy Score: 15.5 - UNDER
While I think Peanut is one of the better parts of Nongshim, I still don’t have him cracking his projection; Peanut in the later stages of his career has simply became too slow relative to the other junglers. His trademark aggression which stood in contrast to much of the LCK has dwindled, and he’s left with a few sparingly good games, but is an on average mediocre jungler. I’m going with under on Thursday.
