Wednesday’s LPL and LCK matches feature close contests between KT and T1, and RNG versus TES. Team WE is likely to stomp out BLG, but the main match to focus on is GenG with their decisive advantage over Fredit BRION. Let’s get into the picks.

GenG v Fredit BRION

Ruler (GenG) - Projected Fantasy Score: 17.5 - OVER

Ruler is an animal, GenG plays primarily towards their bottom side and funnels kills into Ruler. The only issue that I may potentially see is GenG ending the game too quickly- fear not though, despite GenG’s defensive playstyle, they’re still a slow team- they prefer to take things easy and go by the books, allowing Ruler (hopefully) enough time to rack up his kills. All we need to do is look at the statistics, where Ruler has broken 17.5 nearly every single match he’s played in, typically rolling double digits- especially recently.

GenG v Fredit BRION

Hena (FB) - Projected Fantasy Score: 9.5 - UNDER

Ruler and Life leave no survivors. Life’s low death count- combined with GenG’s characteristically defensive play style leads to low death games, I can’t see Hena winning the 2v2 bottom lane; much less picking up 5 kills per game between two matches. Hena is a weak ADC in a league filled with strong ones, and he sticks out like a sore thumb as a result.

GenG v Fredit BRION

Lava (FB) - Projected Fantasy Score: 10.5 - UNDER

This one is the “hard” one. Lava is the star on FB, although being a star on FB is like being the smartest kid in kindergarten. Lava has shown improvement across his time on the LCK, and he’s a serviceable mid-tier mid laner, but against a monster like BDD, with his jungler Umti against Clid? I don’t see this happening- FB is a feast or famine team, and GenG is notoriously impossible to snowball against. I don’t see Lava breaking this prediction.
