I was right to expect an upset on Monday, but it did not come from the team I expected (Rare Atom) and instead was a scrappy LGD team over OMG. Tuesday is chalk-full of bottom-of-the-table teams taking some time to beat up on each other – so the field looks wide open. We are going to look for the highest performers so far and see which teams have the advantage! Let’s dive in!

Fantasy Value Breakdown
 

Captain

Favorite: Betty (AL: $11,700) Betty is the highest performing player on the slate by a pretty wide margin. He has the highest KDA among all players on the slate with a 4.3 and has a 72% team kill participation. AL has had some really scrappy matches this split and even with the bulk of their matches being losses, they are a pretty tough out. Betty should have plenty of opportunities to shine on Tuesday morning. 

Value Pick: Cryin (UP: $10,800)

 

Top 

Favorite: Zdz (AL: $6,600) Of all the top laners playing Tuesday, Zdz has the highest ceiling and lowest floor. He will run through your team or can find ways to throw away his life for little to no reason. Picking him up in the top laner role though allows you to have him with his negative death numbers without too much of a negative impact on your overall slate score. He has 29 kills and nearly 50 assists which are 1st among the options for top laners for Tuesday. 

Value Pick: neny (IG: $5,800) 

 

Jungle

Favorite: H4cker (UP: $6,600) Junglers like H4cker bring a ton of excitement to the LPL and I am all about it. He has the highest team kill participation rate among junglers (71%) and the most assists 80+ in 11 games played. He has a 2.2 KDA which is tied for first among top laners and I like where UP could end up at the end of the split as a team. 

Value Pick: XUN (IG: $6,200) 

 

Mid

Favorite: Forge (AL: $7,400) A note about this pick. AL does have three different mid lane options and you run the risk if they choose to go elsewhere for mid lane duties. That being said, Forge is outperforming his peers averaging over 70 FPPG right now. The other AL mid laner (Maple) is struggling right now and I am not sure how long AL choose to ride the train for the JPL import before going with the established vet in Forge.  

Value Pick: Captain (TT: $6,400) 


 

ADC

Favorite: Elk (UP: $7,600) Elk is a legitimate option for your captain role. UP has had some real stinkers as a team which is why I faded him for that role. He is part of 77% of all of his team’s kills and has 63 kills in his 11 games played. Averaging over 5 kills a game is nuts for his stat line and I would make sure you find some way to slot him in for Tuesday. 

Value Pick: Puff (IG: $7,200) 

 

Support

Favorite: ShiauC (UP: $5,800) Because Elk is a high producer, you see ShiauC pick up a lot of points from the support position. He has 86 assists in his 11 games played and a 66% team kill participation rate. As UP get more comfortable with each other, I expect to see more early to mid game roams from ShiauC with their jungler, H4cker. These early game roams will be key for him grabbing those big points we want from him. 

Value Pick: Southwind (TT: $6,200) 

 

Team

Favorite: Ultra Prime ($4,800) I think this is the most quality roster on the slate. Having players like Cryin and H4cker should mean you should have an advantage around neutral objectives and have the superior team fighting skills/macro movement to take towers aggressively throughout the game. Keeping it simple here and saving a little money here.
