(-525) Rogue v exceL eSports (+340)

(-120) MAD Lions v G2 Esports (-110)

(+105) Misfits Gaming v Fnatic (-135)

Welcome to the European Super Week! This weekend of matches are the final tests for teams to see who moves on to the Summer Playoffs and who is left behind. With three games left to play, four teams fight to make the cut. While the bottom teams fight for the last spot, the top teams all have a mathematical chance at securing the top spot in the LEC. The next three days should allow for some entertaining League of Legends play. Let’s dive in!

Game #1:Team Vitality v FC Schalke

Cann’s Pick: Team Vitality

Game #2: SK Gaming v Astralis

Cann’s Pick: Astralis

Game #3: Rogue v exceL eSports

Cann’s Pick: Rogue

Game #4: MAD Lions v G2 Esports

Cann’s Pick: MAD Lions

Game #5: Misfits Gaming v Fnatic

Cann’s Pick: Fnatic

Captain

Favorite: Hans sama (RGE: $12,300) This is a massive price tag to pay for a player, and a bit more than I like to normally pay. What makes this is a safer pick is the matchup and Hans sama’s productivity. Rogue is facing XL, who are one of the bottom teams in the league. Rogue are excellent at taking care of the bottom tier teams with relative ease and Friday's match should be no different.  Of the Rogue players, Hans sama is the highest performing player on the squad. He has a 6.2 KDA and over 60 kills this split. I see Hans grabbing most of his points later in the match so be patient as you watch this match. He will start slow and heat up as the game rolls on.

Value Pick: Rekkles (G2: $10,800)

Top Lane

Favorite: Whiteknight (AST: $7,000) Whiteknight has the second highest kill total among top laners (52) and one of the highest KDAs (3.7). While a little pricer for a more wildcard type player, I feel more confident because AST is playing SK. Astralis beat SK in their first matchup and Whiteknight has a significant edge in terms of skill in the top lane. SK’s top laner (Jenax) can hold the lane, but he will rarely win the lane outright meaning there will be plenty of opportunities for Whiteknight to gain an edge.

Value Pick: Armut (MAD: $6,400)

Jungle

Favorite: Selfmade (VIT: $7,200) It is no secret that Selfmade has not had the best transition to Vitality. VIT has had a lot of growing pains but there is still a glimmer of hope for this team. Selfmade has a team kill participation rate of 71% and when VIT has a good day, Selfmade has a good day. Schalke has had a few glimmers of hope throughout the split but has widely struggled from week to week. Schalke 04 are currently on a 7 game losing streak and I don’t see that snapping on Friday.

Value Pick: Jankos (G2: $6,200)

Mid Lane

Favorite: Humanoid (MAD: $7,400) I am very curious about how this match plays out. I can see G2 snowballing some early fights and this getting away from the MAD Lions. I imagine though the more likely scenario is that the MAD Lions play a smarter game and out maneuver the early aggression of G2. They will most likely try to capitalize on mismatched skirmishes where they have the numbers advantage and I think Humanoid will shine here. Caps has had little to no impact on G2’s successes (most wins came off the back of Rekkles or Jankos) and Humanoid will be able to hold the lane against Caps. This should be a bloody affair in which the MAD Lions make up for their earlier loss to G2 from the beginning of the Summer Split.

Value Pick: Vetheo (MSF: $6,600)

ADC

Favorite: Upset (FNC: $8,000) This is going to be where FNC win this game. Misfits will be a tough opponent for FNC and will stretch them to the limit, but Upset will be the deciding factor in late game teamfights. The FNC bot laner has 81 kills and 92 assists which is a KDA 9.6 KDA when combined with his 18 deaths. He has a 30% kill share percentage for FNC and with the playstyle of Misfits, there should be plenty of fighting to go around.

Value Pick: Jeskla (AST: $7,000)

Support

Favorite: Trymbi (RGE: $5,800) It is hard for me to pick anyone else as a favorite in this spot. While Trymbi is third among supports in terms of assists (134) but he is active for Rogue. He has a 67% team kill participation and he and Hans sama grow huge leads in terms of gold (+108) at 10 minutes in the bottom lane. He and Hans will control the pace and slowly choke the XL bot lane of Patrik and Advienne out of the bot lane.

Value Pick: Mikyx (G2: $4,200)

Team

Favorite: Team Vitality ($5,400) Friday will probably be the only day this weekend I lean so heavily into this team. They have really high, highs and just as low lows. My nod to them on this slate is they are playing S04 who as an organization have just been going through the motions for about a month. S04 have decided to sell off their LEC spot and most likely their entire League of Legends team meaning most of their players have been pretty lifeless for most of their games since. VIT need to take the Schalke top laner (BrokenBlade) out early and it should be pretty easy to clean up a win.

Value Pick: G2 Esports ($4,200)
