Thursday’s LCK features a match-up between the last placed DRX and an underperforming HLE, and a surprisingly strong Afreeca Freecs is pitted against a mid table Liiv SANDBOX, featuring a weak top side and a solid bottom side. Freecs are primed to smash SANDBOX by abusing their strong top laner in Kiin.

Hanwha Life Esports v DRX
Chovy (HLE) - Projected Fantasy Score: 15.5 - OVER
While Chovy hasn’t had the split of his career, he’s still strong enough to beat the worst mid laner in the LCK in Solka, and rack up kills against the bottom placed team in the LCK. HLE has had a relatively difficult schedule so far, not yet having a shot against KT Rolster, Chovy still has the chance to lead his team to play-offs, but they need to start by beating the worst team in the league- he is primed to score big against DRX, and should easily smash his projected score.
Afreeca Freecs v Liiv Sandbox
Kiin (AFS) - Projected Fantasy Score: 15.5 - OVER
Kiin’s return to form has been monumental for AFS, and his opponent in Summit is decent, but still stuck on the lower tier of top laners in the LCK, whereas Kiin is only behind Rascal currently. Kiin also benefits from a strong jungler in Dread versus a weak opponent in Croco, allowing AFS to play to their top side with relatively little threat of retaliation. AFS is up in the standings right now, and appears to be a solid team thanks to their top side, Kiin hits big kp each game, and against Sandbox it’s likely to hit the same.
Hanwha Life Esports v DRX
Bao (DRX) - Projected Fantasy Score: 11.5 - UNDER
Bao is the weakest ADC in the LCK, while Deft and Vsta isn’t an insanely high tier pair, Bao’s support in Becca is similarly low tier. DRX’s biggest advantage is their jungler in Pyosik, and their top laner in Kingen isn’t that bad either, relative to Dudu. However, DRX’s strengths are so isolated from their bottom lane, alongside Deft and Vsta’s relative strength, I can’t see Bao overcoming the projected score on Thursday.
